I just leased my 3rd Escape, (2013) love the vehicle, and really apprieciate the personal assistance from my salesman Mike B. I drive Fords because of the quality and value, I buy/lease from Tenvoorde because of Mike. He goes the extra mile to make sure I am happy with my purchase before during and after the sale. I am not just another sale, I am a person and that is how he treats me.

The purchase of our 2017 Fusion went very well. At the time, they had the best sales manager in the business. He has since left. I brought my car in Wednesday, April 26th because it had an oil leak. After not hearing anything from them, my husband called them the following Monday. He was told that it definitely has an oil leak but they can't figure out where it's coming from and I should come get it, drive it for 1 THOUSAND miles and bring it back because after that many miles, the oil leak should be bad enough they can find the origin. WHAT? My husband told them that was unacceptable and to fix it. Tuesday, May 2nd, I received a phone call saying they put 100 miles on it and couldn't find the leak and I should pick it up. When my husband called them to voice his frustration, John in the service department hung up on him. I called Dave, the service manager, twice, leaving a voicemail for him to call me back. I'm still waiting. I live about an hour away from Tenvoorde & I was surprised when I got a call asking me if they could bring my car to me and pick up the loaner they gave me. I would like to think they were attempting to have good customer service skills but I think they didn't want me in their dealership where I could voice my opinion of their services. Don't expect good service after the sale because they don't know what that means. I will never have anything to do with Tenvoorde Ford or their service department again. I hope this review makes others think about doing business with them as well. I wish someone had warned us. I brought my car to another Ford dealer who was more than happy to do this warranty work for me. They immediately found 2 hose clamps that needed to be tightened. Tenvoorde had my car for 4 days and couldn't find loose hose clamps. That's not the kind of service department I want working on any of my vehicles. We requested the Tenvoorde sticker be removed from the back of my vehicle because I refuse to advertise for them. It has now been replaced with a dealer sticker from the place that fixed my car. We have never been treated as bad as Tenvoorde treated us.

I needed some warranty work unexpectedly on Friday of New Years eve weekend. I showed up unannounced and was out the door in about 15 minutes with a loaner and back on my way up North. Such amazing customer service! I had been working with another dealership and I am here to tell you, they are NOT all this accommodating! Thank you very much for restoring my faith in car dealerships!
