Patrick was more than accommodating and helpful! He was patient while I was unable to get to the dealership and had the right balance of communication while not being overbearing. I highly recommend Schoepp and you need to work with Patrick! So pleased!
Incompetent
On November 17th, 2022 I experienced transmission failure on my 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport SL AWD. I dropped the vehicle off at Zimbrick Nissan East for an inspection and they determined the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle's transmission was covered under a 3rd party extended powertrain warranty purchased at the time of the vehicle's purchase at Schoepp Motors Middleton. After I received the inspection results I called Schoepp to report the issue. They stated it was covered under the warranty and that they would pick up and repair the vehicle. they said it was required to be fixed at Schoepp to be covered under the extended warranty. I did not want to have them do the repair based on previous questionable service and repairs but they said it was required. The vehicle was picked up by Schoepp on November 22nd, 2022. Vehicle was repaired and ready for pickup on December 14th, 2022. Upon pickup I learned that an alignment was not completed after the new transmission was installed which made me question the quality of work since it is recommended by Nissan to perform an alignment after transmission replacement. Schoepp stated that an alignment was not covered under the warranty. I immediately scheduled an appointment at Zimbrick on Jan. 2nd, 2023 to perform an alignment and inspection of the replaced transmission. Upon inspection it was found out that the new transmission was never programmed after installation which is required. Zimbrick stated that the new transmission could've already suffered damage but there is no way to tell for sure. Zimbrick then contacted Schoepp to get the codes to program the transmission. Schoepp paid for the programming and alignment to be completed at Zimbrick but this doesn't guarantee that the transmission isn't damaged. I asked Schoepp to have Zimbrick replace the transmission or warranty it for 2 years with no mileage restrictions. They offered a 2 year 24k mile warranty but I drive 1500 miles per week for work commuting. Schoepp doesn't want to own up to their incompetence and pay for what they screwed up.

Horrible experience. I drove from Appleton to Middleton to test drive a specific type of car. I was made an offer. I explained it wasn't within my budget. I was made another lower offer and all the numbers it included. I asked to make a phone call and the sales person, Charlie, stepped out for a moment. He came back into the office and I said I accepted that lower offer. So Charlie responds I can't offer that to you anymore and will have to go back to the original offer, which was obviously higher. Now he says that he made the offer without the owner's approval. Maybe I wouldn't have been so upset if he was a new employee, but Charlie said he worked for this dealership for 8 years. Yes, that's right, 8 years. Car salesmen have the reputation of being slick, unethical, and unscrupulous. Guess he lived up to that!

Car was fine but a more thorough conversation about the breakdown of cost and the car itself would have been very appreciated. Jose seemed a little dismissive. Went back for clarification of cost and the owner was quick to compensate for the lack of communication, though Jose had left. Overall left satisfied.
