Waste of time and money

Took my vehicle to this location and they had my car for a long time and never fixed the problem. The communication was not good and it was very expensive. Just trying to save the next person the trouble

Tony Baker is great!

I was shocked to read an unfavorable review about Tony Baker! I was referred to him by a friend and found him to be totally honest and forthcoming about the condition of the cars. He also was completely professional in every aspect of my dealings with him, which included a purchase of a car at the dealership. He went out of his way to make sure my insurance came through on time. I would recommend him to anyone else who needs a good used car. Leisha was also very professional. Kudos to Dewitt Motors owners and staff!

Dewitt Motors and Tony Baker are HORRIBLE

I was interested in a vehicle at Dewitt Motors, I looked at the vehicle on Sunday and I did not get any numbers until late Tuesday. I put down a deposit to hold the car in my name until we look at the financing and the deposit was refundable. Tony Baker and I spoke over the phone and I did not like the price. He then called me back and CUSSED and SWORE at me because it was my fault that he did not make any money. I found him to be VERY RUDE and ABRASSIVE!!!! I have never seen someone in the customer service industry be so RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. The owner Michelle Kapreilian should be embarrassed to have an employee like that in here dealership. With Dewitt Motors being a small business and Tony Baker as their salesman, this company will be out of business very quickly. I am not sure if I am going to see my money but I am sure that I will do what is needed to hinder the name of this company UNTIL Tony Baker is no longer working there.

A very good experience overall.

I had been to the Ford Dealer but salesman was clueless, fail. I had been to the Hyundai Dealer down the street but we couldn't agree on price, fail. I hadn't really considered DeWitt because they were a small used car dealer. I did actually find the car I wanted on-line and went in. Friendly staff made me feel comfortable. They gave me a the price I was looking for. The buying process was easy and not stressful for me which I really liked. I enjoyed working with the salesman and owner. The only part I didn't like was the last form I had to sign gave DeWitt the authority to recall and cancel the sale for any reason for a period of 30 days. It was explained that it was incase the financing didn't go through. My trade-in was long gone, they only had to pay me the price the wholesaler paid them which I had no imput on that. They would charge me mileage which in 30 days was sizeable. One week should be plenty of time not 30 days! 4 stars instead of 5 because of this.

Dealer response

Thank you so much for your review, we truly appreciate your business. It is our goal to make the car purchase process as easy and painless as possible, and are glad we have succeeded! With reference to the paperwork, your view is completely understandable and I would like to opportunity to explain the purpose. The form is only valid if for some reason the bank decided that they would not fund the vehicle - which means we would not get paid- we need to have the express right to get that vehicle back. In all our years, this has only happened twice and each time it was discovered that there was fraudulent information given to us and the bank. This is a rare occurrence but you can see how something like this could impact a small business in a big way. The 30 day limit is because the banks have that time to fund the money to us. I hope this has eased your mind on that issue and feel free to contact me directly if you have any other questions. Thank you again for your purchase. Best regards, Michelle Kapreilian, owner

Nice people to deal with.

Clean cars and exceptional service. Kind and considerate with attention to detail. Good value and willing to cut prices to make the deal. A dealer fee is assessed to the deal that is not able to be reduced or waived. But overall nice location of course and nice people. Honest is the word here.
