Upon entry to the Auto Hub I was greeted by Doug. I explained to Doug the reasons for my need of a topper as I am an avid outdoorsman and hunt with two (2) versatile hunting dogs. I also informed Doug I wanted side windows that open so I could access the dogs' kennels and other gear. Doug suggested Leer's windoor option. I ordered the topper Doug suggested and paid a 50% deposit. Doug called to inform me my topper arrived. After the topper installation was finished I walked into the shop realizing the wrong "windoors" were on the topper. I went back in the main office and informed Doug of the situation. Doug immediately went to the paperwork and showed me with his finger the windoor option was selected. I noticed below the windoor option was a “windoor with slider” option. So, I said, “Doug, I believe I need the windoor with slider option as I informed you I have dogs that require air circulation. I can’t drive in the summer heat without proper ventilation for my dogs.” Doug emailed his Leer representative as I stood there and we talked about various solutions to make the lack of communication/understanding “right.” Without the proper ventilation I simply had a massive paperweight sitting on my truck bed. I expressed my need for windoors with sliders. I paid the remainder of the cost in good faith the Auto Hub would work with me. The owner agreed to install the new windoors with sliders at no cost to me and I pay their cost for the windoor with sliders. I didn’t hear from Doug for a couple of weeks so I called. He stated he was getting information from Leer that the style topper I ordered didn’t have the windoor with slider option. I explained that would be a manufacturing faux pas. Doug responded that he would escalate the situation and call me when he received more information. Several days later I received a call from Doug that he was going to order the windoors with slider for my topper. At this point we are approximately twelve (12) weeks from the order date. The windoors with sliders arrived and I took another vacation day to get them installed. Upon my arrival I asked to see the new windoors with slider. I immediately knew they were too small. I was now working with Todd. I explained to Todd that the windoors sitting in the shop were for a smaller style topper such as an F-150 and absolutely not for the opening in my topper. Todd said he was going to do some additional research and get back to me. Two (2) weeks go by and I called Todd back inquiring about his research. Todd told me that he was trying to work with a custom fabricator to make windoors with sliders for my topper. I explained that the correct Leer product is machined and made specifically for my topper – I was confident! Several more weeks go by and I had to call Todd back. At this point I was getting frustrated and called another vendor. I informed the new vendor of my situation and they assured me they could get me what I wanted. The vendor asked for the Leer topper serial number and stated they would call me shortly. Literally minutes later I received a call confirming the windoors with sliders would fit. Less than two (2) weeks later the windoors with sliders arrived and were installed. I called the Auto Hub and asked to speak with Doug or Todd. Todd answered and I introduced myself. There was a long pause. Todd began telling me he had good news and bad news. I became curt. I stated how I was a happy customer of a new vendor who was able to install new Leer windoors with slider; however, I wasn’t happy about the $1500 it cost me. Todd began asking questions about whether the windoors were from Leer, who I went through, how, etc., etc., etc. He asked me to send him pictures of the windoors. I did and that was the last I heard from the Auto Hub.

I'm searching for a vehicle with under 100,000 miles, so you list one with 208 miles on it, when in fact it has 208,000 miles on it. What other deceptive practices do you have? Come on now, be better than that.

New Leer Topper on a new truck.
The 1st Leer topper (the base model I believe) was returned due to quality issues. Installation of the replacement topper (one model up) went very well. It looks good and fits great. Service has always been polite, and courteous. Thank You again Auto Hub.

New Leer Topper on a new truck.
After the Leer topper was installed we decided to get the bed lined. The Auto Hub, removed the topper, the bed was sprayed at another facility and then the Auto Hub reinstalled the topper. All in the same day. Thank You Auto Hub.

New Leer Topper Purchase/Install
1st Installation- The wrong wiring harness was installed, causing undesired computer operation. Topper hatch fills with water and leaks. Hatch has large gaps for stinging insects. 2nd Installation- The correct harness was installed and the topper was "squeezed" and reattached for a "better fit". Topper hatch still has large gaps for large insects to bypass the screens. Hatch still fills with water and leaks. 3rd Installation- Topper exterior light has a short, remaining on when truck is off, which causes the new battery to be charged. It is also causing undesired computer operation. Hatch fills with water and still leaks. Hatch still has large gaps which wasps, bees etc. may enter. Sorry hub, but I had to write this.
