I recently purchased a preowned car and couldn’t be happier with the experience! Drew and his team were incredibly transparent, answering all my questions and providing detailed information about the car’s history. They made sure everything was in top shape before handing over the keys, which gave me a lot of confidence in my purchase. It’s rare to find such honesty and dedication to customer satisfaction. I’d highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a trustworthy place to buy a used vehicle!

My husband and I enjoyed our experience with the dealership and the salesperson, Drew, who provided us with the most excellent experience. He did not do hard sales. He arranged to work his day off. Though we were looking at cars 10K to 22K, he did not try to push us upward. Drew is an asset to the company. And he knows the best hotels, coffee and bakeries available if you are hungry or traveling. Would absolutely recommend this dealership and salesman!

Bad service
Pretty bad experience with Sergio. When asked to test drive a car he never even looked at us throughout the conversation and kept looking at his phone. Then said "we don't let people in for a joyride" as if I'd drive all the way up from Seattle to joyride an Audi A5 of all cars

I was very pleased
I was 100% pleased. I was looking for a certain Mercedes auto and I knew I may have to look nationwide and make a purchase without visiting the dealer. I found the car here and a few other places. I messaged the Bellingham location and I received a response promptly. I interacted with Drew who was very professional and personable. First of all everything in the ad was exactly truthful and correct. The automobile was pristine and well serviced. The car fax was accurate as I double checked it through another source. The sales team was reasonable with me negotiating the sale price and we quickly can to an agreement. I had trouble personally arranging for transportation of the vehicle because it was so very far away from me. Drew offered to arrange transportation for the vehicle. I had some issues with one of the terms of the arrangement but Drew was able to understand and accommodate my concern. All the paperwork was completed expeditiously and thoroughly. Throughout the whole process communication was timely, pleasant and efficient. When I received the automobile I was totally satisfied and pleased.

GET THE CANADIAN CARFAX
Bad experience with a Blue 2016 BMW X1 M Sport with VIN WBXHT3C3XG5E54275. TLDR: Canadian carfax showed it was in 4 accidents which totals ~$30k in damage they claim they know nothing about. For the screenshot, check out yelp or google. Brief timeline of events 1. Car was up for sale last week, it got taken down presumably because it sold. Miraculously it reappears today so I call them. 2. Guy picks up, I believe it's Sergio, he says "yeah, the shipping costs were $500 extra due to a documentation error so some guy in PA decided against it." I ask some questions and he says "you better hurry, some guy is driving up here from Oak Harbor now but you can secure it with a $1000 nonrefundable deposit". This part is important! I ask about if the car was in any accidents because it was from Canada and he "looks through his email" and says he can't find anything, but they buy from this place all the time so they trust them. I hang up to think it over. 3. I call back and ask if I can make the deposit with stipulations, like having the car checked by a mechanic first and he says yes. Then he says "I've had 6 calls about this car today. Yeah the guy from PA who wanted it his credit was denied or something and he's working on it." Odd, story changed... I hang up and call some mechanics. 4. The mechanic (Andrew?) at "flat black automotive" was great. He told me to look out for rust/corrosion on Canadian cars (salt on the roads more than us) and that he could check it out for me and said if there's any rust/corrosion to walk away entirely. 5. Mention the rust/corrosion and I'm told "we buy from areas that don't really get snow so it doesn't happen with our cars". Call back and ask to put these inspection stipulations in writing and then I'll put down the 1k. They say they don't like to make agreements like that (I can see why now...) and that the car will be brought for inspection tomorrow. But, if I really want the car, I should just put the 1k down because it could sell overnight via their online business. 6. I decide 75$ CAD was worth not having a xxxxed up car so I pay it and sure enough, attached below is the accident report for this vehicle. As another reviewer points out, it says "auction announced as accident repair". The Autohaus responded to that reviewer saying it "was purchased from a wholesaler that we have had several interactions with and have never had an unreliable nor disappointing purchase". Well, either they need to stop doing business with this wholesaler, they have multiple wholesalers doing this to them, or they're lying. In the end, this dealership is wholesale buying cars from Canada all the time and selling them for 15k , they should get a subscription and carfax the cars if they want to prevent this, but they don't because they can't be held liable for what they don't know. Even if this car was a steal, the damage was all cosmetic, or whatever; at this point I don't want to give my business to shady people and I don't think you should either.

GET IT IN WRITING, DO NOT TRUST
I know they say not to trust car dealers but I used to be a car salesman myself and really trusted this dealer. Sergio pressured me to put down a refundable deposit on a car I had never seen before, a $1000 deposit. All they ever gave me was a receipt and still have not provided anything in writing, including their policy regarding deposits. In fact, I can't even do a charge back because they purposely didn't put anything in writing, not even that my $1000 was a deposit. The car clearly had mechanical problems as soon as I drove it. Brought it to my mechanic and they deemed it unsafe to drive. I gave the autohaus two weeks to make things right. They refused to ever negotiate and did nothing but string me along until my own car broke down. They promised me a loaner and never delivered or even got back to me. That was it. I needed a car ASAP, and they clearly could not be trusted. I asked for my deposit back and was told I had two options: come get the car now or meet them somewhere closer to me and get the car. When I said I was not comfortable with that and wanted a refund Sergio began to threaten me with his lawyer friends. If you’re not a trusting person, maybe you’ll have a good experience. All I can say is get everything in writing, don’t take their word, GET THE CAR CHECKED OUT, and never work with Sergio. Seriously a crook. I’m a nice, understanding and patient person and that was my biggest mistake in dealing with the International Autohaus of Bellingham.

Exceeded my expectations in every way!
Professional, honest and a pleasure to do business with. Bought my 2013 Panamera from Dany and the whole experience exceeded my expectations. These guys are real car guys who truly care about the long term satisfaction of their clients. The car was fairly priced and they worked with me to participate in new tires (tires on it were fine, I just wanted different brand) and new brakes (all Porsche parts!). Even did a great job addressing the little paint chips and imperfections in the car (all done weeks after the sale was completed to accommodate my busy schedule). Great communication and all aspects of the experience were professional and fair. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone looking at a high end luxury car (or any car for that matter). They are good guys who work hard to do the right thing and make sure their customers are happy. Thanks Autohaus!

Amazing Dealership!
First of all The Autohaus has the best deals hands down. I live in North Caronlina and Drew (the salesman) arranged transportation of my vehicle from Bellingham to North Carolina and I still got the best deal on my Mercedes C63 in the country. All credit goes to Drew, he's truly the best! He was there at all hours of the day to answer any questions I had from start to finish. I am truly grateful for all his actions and helping my deal go through smoothly. Thank you Drew! You are truly the best!

Easy sale-late delivery and no return calls
Easy sale-but took 25 days to deliver car; shipping company said dealer was behind on paying them. Car failed on day 13 and brakes were bad. Dealer would never return calls or email.
