Simple, Clean, Easy
After a good friend had purchased a Ferrari from gears I called with the specifications of a 2017 GT3 I was about to purchase asking if it was a good price etc . The GM went to work for me, found out some information the seller did not disclose and located a 2018 with better options for the local franchise and handled the entire process for me as they do business with that store regularly. I picked the car up at Porsche and gears didn't charge me a dime!

Satisfied Customer
I have made multiple purcahes from Larry and the guys at GEARS. It has always been as easy and the customer service has been above any expectations I had. I am not the guy to keep cars a long time and will continue to use these guys whenever possible to acquire my next ride.

Flawless Process!
I absolutely love my Porsche Cayman that I bought from GEARS! Larry and his staff were so helpful and quick to respond to all my questions. We won’t be buying a car through any other dealership.

Another great Porsche
Over the last 15 years I have purchased 3 vehicles from the GEARS team. There are no cleaner exotics in the south east. Larry treats his clients like family.

They are fine until something goes wrong.
It's easy to provide good service when everything goes right, but the way you deal with conflict says far more about who you are as a person and a company. In February 2019, I purchased a 1990 Ferrari 348 TS and had it shipped to me in California. Everything was fine until there was a problem with the car upon arrival. The car was stated to be in perfect running, driving condition. When the car arrived, the clutch was completely burned up and the car was not drivable. I immediately called the dealership and spoke to the receptionist about what happened. She let me know Larry would give me a call back in 30 minutes as he was on lunch. 30 minutes went by, then an hour, then 2 hours. I also called 6 more times during that period and all 6 calls went straight to voicemail. It was not until I sent a strongly worded email that I received a response the next morning. Larry blamed the shipper, the shipper blames the dealership saying the car had issues during pickup. Part of the purchase deal was that G.E.A.R.S. would include free shipping as part of a promotion they were running, so they arranged and paid for transport. Long story short, Larry paid a lowest-bidder uninsured shipping company (MSP Trucking, formerly Alda Logistics, look up their reviews as well) $1000 to ship the car from GA to CA. He sent me the dispatch sheet for the transport as a PDF and whited out the pricing information to hide the amount that was paid. However when you highlight the text in the PDF, it shows the pricing information. This should have been well over $2000 for enclosed transport. The clutch repair ended up being over $12,000 due to the very expensive flywheel, which I had to pay out of pocket and have not received any reimbursement or even a simple apology from Larry or G.E.A.R.S. It's been nearly 3 months since delivery and the dealership still refuses to respond to any phone or email communication. Stay away unless you're willing to deal with any problems on your own, or have a lawyer on standby.

17 Years a customer and will never change
I cannot say enough about this company and theres too much word limitation to say enough about Larry the GM. From the purchase of my 1st Porsche 17 years ago, to my wife's Range Rover and now my new 911 it has been a flawless process. Anytime I need something for the car(s) or even when the Rover battery died locking us out in FL he took my call and walked me through resolving the issue . . . on a Sunday! When my mother needed a dependable safe car - they put her in a Mercedes that has been the best car she has ever owned going on 5 years now. If I need anything at any time, like I needed a car sold, they get it done! As a business owner with a fleet the sales department even assists securing cars and trucks as we need them even though its not the level of cars - exotics - they usually deal in. Its not just the quality of the cars either, you can trust them . . . and thats rare today

Outstanding Company and Staff! 2012 Ferrari 458
There are plenty of "exotic" car dealers but few follow through and work diligently to make the buying process smooth and hassle free. Buying a pre-owned Ferrari can be stressful but the gears staff made it easy and safe even providing a paint meter report to insure the car was free of unreported accidents. I purchased a Ferrari 458 which arrived perfect by a enclosed transport and they even worked with me on my trade from CA! Excellent across the board!

Be Careful
I normally do not write reviews, good or bad, but felt like I had to in this case. Larry and his team are very friendly, but please do your due diligence when buying a vehicle from them. I bought a car remotely from them and within a week, the clutch failed and had to be replaced (to the tune of $6000). I told Larry about this but he made no attempt to make it right. The vehicle (Lamborghini Gallardo) was also advertised as having an upgraded exhaust system, but upon inspection, it did not. Please be careful when purchasing from this company. It could be a very expensive lesson.
