I have been looking all over MI from Traverse City to Sterling Heights, for an Toyota Corolla S. Talked with 5 different dealers. Skip from Tri County... Motors answered all my questions without the hassels of talking with two or three people to finish the deal. The car had the lowest miles, lowest price, and was clean inside and out. I mark quality of repairs down, based on car did not start, Skip inform me that car had not been started in couple of days, but would replace the battery if i had any more trouble. Its been three days and car is starting every time. Just an great buying experience all together, this is the my 8th vehicle buying experience from different dealers. Skip was able to me finance on this car, with an interest rate of half what my bank was willing to offer. My credit score is over 800. I will contact Tri County Motors for my next vehicle.
We need more dealers like this. I dont need much help in buying a car. I know what a good car is, I know what I want, I know a fair price, and I know when... I'm comfortable with someone. First of all, I hate shopping for cars and so far it wasn't getting easier. So I really dragged my feet and hesitated to make the trip to see one this... far away. Others we checked out weren't as nice as the pictures they presented. A friend recommended I give Skip a call cause I needed a car due to a deer and we were down to one with a family, so I took my husband and made the journey, and all I can say is-that was a good decision. The car was as nice as the picture, and it was obvious they care about the vehicles they sell. We looked at many they had to see if that was the norm or just that one and it was the same on all. I talked to Skip, he was very easy, kind of laid back, and it made it simple for us to focus on the car. No cheesy sales pitches, no talking to my manager stuff. We felt comfortable with Skip and the Dealership so we did what we never do and bought it that afternoon. He was very good knowing which bank to use to get our best financing, and he saved us more money by getting us a better rate and term than our own Credit Union and he did it in 15 minutes. We left very, very pleased and will call him for the rest of our car purchases. Thanks Skip!
First thing I did was shop GR. I met some nice guys but they were very proud of their cars and the cars weren't really that great. Always needed to talk... to the manager or someone else. Got nowhere. I noticed this one online and the price caught my attention. I figured it was a short drive so I went up after work, putting in my dues and car buying diligence. What a surprise! Real laid back, extremely knowledgeable about cars and especially the financing of them, and he was pleasant. Actually, real talkative and a huge Lions fan, and thats cool. Car was much nicer than the ones I was looking at for alot more money. I had no intention of buying right then but call it what you may, I drove that one home. Great decision, I will definitely call Skip for my future cars. I'll probably stop in to just visit too if I'm in the area.
