Does not value customers, only dollars.

Bought 2 new vehicles in less than 3 months. They damaged my truck (scratches, overspray, flat tire) and drove it through the mud while putting in the bedliner. Gave me a crappy loaner with a dead battery. Would not compensate me the cost or even partial cost of bedliner ($600), just offered to take my truck back and have their incompetent service department "try" to fix everything. I dont think so, don't trust them. My business wasn't worth much to these guys, yours won't be either. Should have known, they're claim to fame is "cheap" prices...that always equals bad service.

Very disappointed how the manager took up for the worker...

Very disappointed how the manager took up for the worker (Cindy) who held my car on the lot several days after it was repaired. This is the first dealership that I have ever experience keeping a car on the lot for several days without calling the owner. A professional dealership would have called the owner once the car was ready and a good manager would have questioned and notice that the car was parked for several days in the same spot after being repaired. Who can afford to leave their car at any dealership without a loaner car for several days when the car is ready for pickup and staff refused to notify you that your vehicle is ready?

rip off

Traded Honda Accord here for a Chevy Pickup. Found out when washing that it had a broken taillight. They would not replace it . I had to purchase one. When I looked at paperwork they had fudged the numbers, Raised the price up. They are so slow and don't care about there customers time.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience with us here at Doug Henry Buick GMC. We regret to hear that your visit and experience were not more of a positive one. In reference to "fudged numbers" the vehicle you purchased was last listed online at one of our other locations with a selling price of $17,995. This same vehicle was sold to you with a selling price of $17,695. While this is $300 less than the listed selling price, the price of $17,995 does not include NC State Sales Tax (3%), License Fee ($157), Dealer Admin Fee ($638), additions such as GAP Insurance, Maintenance Plans, or Warranties. This selling price also does not include any positive or negative equity from any trade(s). Due to this, your total amount financed will generally differ from the selling price of a vehicle. With this being said, the total amount financed does not include any finance charges that you may incur from financing a vehicle. These additional charges, which are paid to the lender, are based off of the terms and conditions of the loan provided by the lender. Your Bill of Sale as well as your Contract will break each of these numbers down as a part of Truth in Lending. I hope this clears up any misunderstandings that you may have had about pricing.We do apologize if you felt that your buying process took too long. It is never our intention to keep a client here any longer than they need to be. We understand that everyone's time is important as well as limited. We will take these words to heart and work to improve and quicken our processes. As for a broken taillight, I cannot comment. My detail department did not mention a taillight having a leak when they washed the vehicle. I am not saying there was not a crack, I am just saying your review is my first time hearing of it. Perhaps you spoke with another team member here concerning the taillight prior to buying a new one. Of this I am also unsure. I cannot say what decisions will be or not be made by our Sales Managers. I do apologize for this inconvenience. Once again, I would like to thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience with us and where we need to focus on making improvements going forward. Great place to do business with

What is important to me is a dealerships service Dept...cuz you buy a vehicle from them once but need to deal with the service dept over and over again. Doug Henry has an excellent Dept!!!

We bought my pre-owned vehicle from Doug Henry in Goldsboro and everyone that we dealt with was very kind and helpful and no one that we dealt with in the sales department was pushy or over bearing, you had the feeling they honestly just wanted to help you and not just sell you a car. Everyone worked to make sure our needs were met and were eager and ready to answer any questions we had. We also got to meet with the service department and were met with the same friendliness that we experienced in the sales department. We plan on buying our next vehicle from Doug Henry as well as bringing our car in any time we are need of vehicle service or repair.

I a so grateful for the service and customer service I received from the moment I arrived on the lot, front door and to the service department. I have to say that Jose, Pablo, Doug, and Jimmy made my experience easy and effective. The customer service was laced with patience and trust that is very rare, especially when it comes to purchasing a vehicle. I’m just responding to the dealers feedback in regards to third party/fuel levels/honesty/integrity/professionalism. First off it is not my fault or any other customers fault that you guys have a faulty system on how you market and sell YOUR vehicles. When we called we were approved for the advertised price of $15,999 and not the raised price that was 3k over fair market value. Playing mommy daddy games by placing blame on third parties is just nonsense and Unprofessional. Secondly you have customers all over Nc buying vehicles and you want to be cheap and only put $10 of gas in a vehicle when a customer drove two hours to get there. The customer (myself) should not have to beg the manager for more gas after already getting worked over on the price of the vehicle. This dealership was extremely deceptive, not only in their add but also in person. The photos of the vehicle did not show the big dent on the passenger rear under the fuel door and was not disclosed during the purchase . The photos also did not show the stains on the seat due to the angle of the camera. I’m not a fan of being lied to/deceived. If I could post pictures of the dent and seat I would! I’m a 15 year active duty service member and would never recommend this dealership to any service member that I work with and for. If you guys want to make things right pay to have that dent fixed on the car I paid 18k for then I’ll write a fair review.

Thank you again for taking the time to reach out to us and let us know about your experience. We do put in every effort to ensure that all of the information we display on our site, as well as our third party affiliates is accurate but again absolute accuracy cannot be guaranteed. Upon looking up your deal and information submitted to lenders when you spoke with our finance manager you were submitted to lenders and approved on an amount of 19K and not 16K any and all payments quoted were based off of the selling price of 19K and the approved structure of the lender including any cash down and or trade (if applicable). Fuel for pre-owned vehicles again is an amount of $10 regardless of current fuel level. Any amount above this does require approval of management as policy is $10. Your sales rep is responsible for notifying management about a request for additional fuel. You, the customer, should never have to speak management in this situation, it should be handled by your sales rep. The dent and stain in the seat are both clearly visible when looking at the vehicle in person prior to and during your test drive offered by your sales rep that afternoon. After our customers test drive a vehicle and are presented with their finance/payment options it is up to the customer whether or not the deal makes sense to them and if they want to finalize the deal and complete the purchase. We never force a customer to buy a vehicle. We simply allow them to drive the vehicle and provide them with the financing/payment options based on the information we receive back from the lenders after submitting. Again, we do greatly appreciate your business and thank you again for allowing us to earn it.
