The most outstanding car dealership I've been to.

The most outstanding car dealership I've been to. Very knowledgeable, and friendly. I can't say enough good things about them. I will give all my business regarding my vehicles.

I am writing to formally express our deep frustration and

I am writing to formally express our deep frustration and disappointment regarding a vehicle we purchased from Sparta Chevy in January 2025. Less than a month after purchasing the vehicle, we were involved in an accident with a deer. During the subsequent inspection by our mechanic, as well as a second inspection at our local Chevy dealership for another opinion, we were informed that the transmission was broken and, notably, this damage was unrelated to the accident. The mechanics also pointed out that the transmission had clearly been tampered with prior to our purchase: it had one brand-new bolt, while the others were rusty, indicating previous knowledge about apparent internal work being done. This is something that was never disclosed to us at the time of purchase. Despite bringing this matter to their attention, no apology, compensation or support was offered. As customers, we find this completely unacceptable and extremely frustrating. I am especially disheartened that no warranty or assurance was offered for a vehicle at this price point (we spent over $20,000), sold as a more “reliable” option. We are a family of nine, including seven children aged 10-3. My husband is a stay-at-home dad with seven young children and I work for a local non-profit organization, so this investment represented a significant financial decision for us. We sought a dependable vehicle, and instead, we feel misled, lied to and burdened with a major and costly issue that should have been addressed prior to the sale. Had we known about the transmission, we would not have moved forward with the purchase. We chose Sparta Chevy as we had heard good things and trusted that buying a vehicle through a dealership would be a safer, more reliable option. To which it was not.

Won't stand behind power train warranty

My 2017 Silverado has had transmission shudder since well before the power train warranty expired. The service department would not stand behind the warranty and denied the issue was happening. Now that the truck is out of warranty I'm having to spend 5k out of pocket to rebuild the transmission.

Sparta Chevrolet Dealership

My car had a serious jerking problem going down the road. They were booked up for a while but allowed me to bring it in so they could diagnose the problem. They kept it for a few days, calling me with updates daily. They didn't have the same problem but I was told to bring it in without an appointment if I had the problem again. I was expecting a labor charge but they didnt charge me for their time. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. They have always been the best service anywhere. We have talked so much about them in the past years, my neighbor amongst others now go there for cars and service.
