Ok so my wife went to Towne Chevrolet for an oil change

Ok so my wife went to Towne Chevrolet for an oil change and surprised me with a phone call that she bought a vehicle while she was there. Later that day we drove down with our trade in vehicle and while we were there I made an appointment to have the passenger side airbag recall fixed on my Tahoe. A few days later I brought it in for the appointment, waited while they fixed it and the drove back home. The next day while driving I noticed the dashboard was bouncing up and down making a very annoying noise, so I called Towne and they had me bring it back for them to fix it. I waited in the waiting room and the tech came to get me and wanted to know exactly what the problem was. So I showed her that the 3 of the 7 snap in clips that hold the dashboard down were broken right off the bottom of the dashboard and it wouldn't stay attached. She adamantly denied that they broke that saying they didn't do it. I've owned this Tahoe for 7 years and never had any problem with the dashboard before this. My wife and I will be taking our business elsewhere after this experience

Miss diagnoses

Found a pretty severe leak under my truck on a Monday afternoon. Took to town Chevy in north collins the following morning when they changed a power steering line. Two days later my truck was still leaking the way it was on Monday. Contacted mark a was on the list for Friday morning. They then determined it was a transmission line that was leaking. After charging me for a part that was not bad a the service they covered the transmission line a that service. However! They neglected to clean up the copious amount of fluid that had leaked all over the underside of my truck. With that I?m still getting spots under my vehicle so I don?t know if something else is leaking or if it?s just the fluid that was left uncleared that is dripping off. A blind person could have diagnosed that better.

Not Sure If Anything Was Done Correctly

We took our vehicle to Towne Chevy Buick in North Collins NY on 11/10/22 for a NYS inspection, a recall for brakes, an oil change and a wheel swap, winters for summers. I brought in the recall letter from GM, dealer discount coupons for the service, one of which was a veterans discount of 5%. The recall repair was not listed on the invoice as performed, the wheels were installed with the rotation arrows pointing backwards. I did not receive any discounts and I was overcharged for the wheel swap.

I wish to thank Towne Chevy Buick in North Collins, NY for their courteous and compensatory service. I brought our Buick in on 4/25/23 for an oil change and wheel swap. I also asked to check for the cause of a continuing noise, possibly in the suspension of the car. It had not been diagnosed during previous service visits. It turned out to be a broken rear spring fitting. The new service manager and head mechanic took extra measures to determine the cause and repair it satisfactorily all for no charge. I will continue to visit the dealership for future automotive needs.

Wouldn?t use service department!!

Customer service is great! Technicians not some much!! Took my truck to have it serviced before long trip. Paid over $100. Said all was good. Which I new was bs because I needed new tires, wipers and they didn?t top any liquids off or even ask if I wanted them to. Got a sheet off paper with all green checks saying everything was good to go. Took it for new tires. Got truck back missing 2 lug nuts and a broken bug deflector! Took it 3 times for check engine light/emissions warning. Couldn?t find the problem till the last time I took it in and charged me $140 a pop. Then when they figures it out they covered it because it was something they did to it!!

Surprised I could get a New Truck !
