The worst dealership I ever dealt with.
The worst dealership I ever dealt with. They put a battery in my Camaro over $500 with no previous idea what it would cost. I will never go there again. Much better dealership in York.

The folks have been very helpful, I worked with sales rep
The folks have been very helpful, I worked with sales rep Jake, and he left me talk them down in price into a reasonable range on a 2017 Malibu, I Am very happy with this purchase! Just make sure you don’t pay their upfront price or you’ll probably be getting ripped off.

I corresponded with Emilie, back and forth with texts, to buy a 2011 Toyota Tacoma, and everything was going well at first. I set up an appointment where I thought I was going to be the first to test drive the truck. I live 1 hour and 15 minutes away. I texted Emily when I left the house for my test drive, to make sure the truck was prepped and still for sale and that the truck was ready to be test driven. When I got to the dealership, a salesperson said it was just sold. How could it be sold out from under me? It seems that the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. I WAS SO MAD. All they said was that they don't hold the truck for anyone, and that they would sell me another vehicle. Really? That's the only truck that I wanted. And then what. Sell that one out from under me too! They screwed me once; they don't get a second chance. Don't deal with these people. They don't know what they are doing, and don't seem to care about what they did to me.

Do yourself a favor and don’t do what I did and ignore
Do yourself a favor and don’t do what I did and ignore the reviews about the lies and manipulation that this business revolves around. I called and texted to confirm the price and availability of a Silverado. Was sent a link with the price of the truck from the dealer to confirm the price on cars.com was accurate. I was told by them cars prices were not accurate even though I asked them to confirm and they did. I made an appointment on Saturday to see the truck on Monday. I called right before I left the house and was told the truck was available. Drove an hour and the truck magically got sold. They tried to put me in one that was 10k more. Then was told the truck might be at the parade. Yeah you just read that 😂. They told at least 10 blatant lies right to my face. Do yourself a favor and don’t even step foot in this dump. I wish I would have paid attention to the similar reviews as this one and not wasted my time. I stressed to them I just didn’t want to drive an hour and waste my time. They assured me the price and the availability. They just want to get to to come in there no matter how stupid it makes their entire business look. The picture I posted is the mystery truck that got sold or was in the parade lol. That’s a ren Kirby price not a cars price like they maintained was the confusion even though I verbally was told and was texted the price right from them.

Do NOT buy, get your vehicle serviced, or work for any
Do NOT buy, get your vehicle serviced, or work for any Renn Kirby dealership. They literally broke my vehicle during a simple oil change as well as will illegally change your payplan without your knowledge or consent. This dealership is unethical and extremely shady!

Customer service at Renn Kirby Chevrolet/Buick is really
Customer service at Renn Kirby Chevrolet/Buick is really exceptional. Tim, Mike, and Robert went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase. I got a great deal on a 2022 Buick Encore GX, with trade-in value on my 2018 Encore above bluebook. They put me in a loaner car while my old car was being looked at in the shop, and Tim was willing to research and wait as long as it took to get me a car I was comfortable with and that I really liked, and then it didn't end up taking long at all - I even got a used car with lower mileage in the color I was hoping for. I think we live in a time when finding honest, face-to-face customer service with people who are willing to take time to get to know you and meet your needs is unfortunately a rarity, and that is Renn Kirby's greatest quality.

Very unprofessional and disrespectful.
Very unprofessional and disrespectful. Tried to "bait and switch" 80 year old seniors, then left them unattended for 45 minutes. Manager Bulow then lied to his boss about his lack of attention. No integrity.

They Sold us a defective car!
They Sold us a defective car! We drove from Northern Virginia and went to purchase a Pre Owned 2022 VW Passat with 15k miles and a Clean Carfax. The car had a malfunctioning Blind Spot Monitoring system and the Alert Light was ON at the time of purchase which both the Sales Person, Chris, and the Sales Manager, Mike, were made aware of. Mike had us contact a VW Dealership to confirm if the car is under the Factory Limited Warranty and it was after our call to the VW Dealership. Mike assured us that it will be fixed and just take it to the dealership as the car is under the factory limited warranty and we UNFORTUNATELY TRUSTED HIM. After purchasing the car and taking it to the local VW Dealership were we have been a longterm customer there, they notified us that this car had been worked on before and the Issue at hand is due to MISSING WIRES HARNESSES inside the door where the wires are CUT! Therefore, this is not a warrantable issue and we are responsible for the repair costs. After I communicated these issues and sent all documents to Mike and Chris, it took them a week to respond to me and yet when I was able to get Mike on a call he sated that they can’t do anything since the car is under warranty and they will be not making any efforts to correct this issue. Plain and simple, they sold us a defective car and took NO STEPS in correcting their mistakes and errors. After speaking with the VW Dealership, they told me that when Mike called them, he expected them to fix it and just cover the problem under warranty when this is not even a warranty covered problem. This is a problem they had to correct before selling a car and it is fully their responsibility and fault. The car has been sitting in the VW Service Center ever since and we cannot get any resolution from this Renn Kirby Management. A TOTAL DISASTER AND WHAT A HECTIC AND UNACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE! Do yourself a favor and unless you are going for a New Car, don’t even bother going to this place until Mike, the Sales Manager, is no linger in place. Definitely not recommended nor should be suggested by any means!

Dara, I apologize for your difficulties in getting the issue resolved. I will do my best to assist you. The reason that we feel the repair should be covered is that there is no evidence anyone ever did work inside the door panel, including us. Therefore, it was either a factory defect from the beginning, something inside the door caused the damage, or the tech at VW caused the damage while disassembling the door for the diagnosis. When we do cover repairs for pre-owned vehicles that are outside the scope of our covered repairs it would need to be done by our technicians at our shop. If you would like to make a trip back to our shop and have us take a look I would be happy to investigate and find a way to help. You can contact me at rphillips@rennkirby.com to discuss the details further.
