Screwed an 18 year old kid over
Do not buy a vehicle here. I repeat do not buy a vehicle here. They screwed a 18 year old over buying his first nice car. Car dies the 3rd day owned brought it back will not fix it despite warranty and having what is wrong with it from reputable mechanic as it is a $750 fix. When he tries to trade it back they take $1900 of the sale price for fixes. I again say do not buy a vehicle here. Have had it back to be fixed for weeks at a time but refuse to do it correctly to fix the problem.

Buyerbeware: We are very sorry that your son has had issues with the 2015 Chevrolet Captiva that we sold him back on 7/18/20 with 155K miles. We have had a very hard time getting the vehicle to act up when it comes in for repairs to the point of being able to diagnose what is causing the rough running engine concern he has been having. Trying to track down an intermittent concern that we can't always get to duplicate can be exhausting and frustrating for you and for us as well. We feel that we have finally gotten to the bottom of the concern this last repair we made on 12/4/20 when we repaired the exhaust cam shaft actuator and an oil leak that was causing issues with a spark plug. We hope that this resolves the concern and everything is operating to your satisfaction. We apologize it took so long to find and diagnose the problem. In our defense, we would like to say that in no way have we ever left your son in a situation where he was out of pocket any money for repairs, ever left him stranded without transportation, and in no way ever refused to repair the vehicle way beyond any warranty that was given at the time of sale. Your "Reputable Mechanic" wanted us to throw parts at an A/C compressor to resolve a rough running engine issue. We weren't going to do that without knowing it would resolve the issue, and there is no way that it could have. As for the $1,900 that we were going to "Charge" him to get out of the vehicle, that was over 3 months after the purchase in July and the additional charges were to upgrading to a more expensive vehicle. We believe we have bent over backward to help resolve the issues with the Captiva. If you feel as well, we would very much appreciate you re-evaluating your review. Thank you for giving us the chance to resolve the issues and explain our position.
COVID concern
Here for oil change. I have bought majority of vehicles here but first time back since COVID-19 and was surprised not a single employee wearing a mask. Which makes me very concerned about getting back into my vehicle after having it serviced and no place to sit outside so had my mask entire time while waiting and in vehicle on way home till I could disinfect.

Diane: We are sorry to hear that you were concerned about your safety during your last visit to our dealership. We are following CDC and Gov. Walz's guidelines for COVID 19. At the time of your visit, masks were not required. As of Saturday, July 25th, masks are now a requirement to enter indoor facilities at our dealership so all our staff and customers are now wearing masks/face coverings. Rest assured, your vehicle is cleaned and sanitized before giving the keys back to you. As for outdoor seating, it is not something that is required by the CDC or Gov. Walz, but we can accommodate such a request and will do what we can to have a place to rest outside our dealership because of your suggestion. We are always looking to improve to accommodate our customers experience to make sure it is safe and inviting.

I was greeted by the service technician when I brought in my car. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. They were pleasant when they told me my car was done and what I might want to watch and be aware of before my next visit. They even filled out a rebate form for me that all I had to do was sign and send in! Love going to Lewiston Auto. They are always friendly and efficient!

Great Service and Kind People!
I just got my tires serviced at Lewiston Auto and 3 weeks later I had the same issue with my tires again. I had to have my car serviced at a different Chevrolet dealership because I attend school in a different city, and Lewiston Auto was very willing to work with them and even paid for my car to be serviced and fixed. Thank you Lewiston Auto especially Jeff for being so generous to pay for my tire to be fixed and taking care of everything. You have some really great people working there.

Lewiston MN Chevy Dealership
I would not get my vehicle serviced elsewhere. Lewiston has been doing our work for over 12 years at least. The Service Manager is well versed and makes sure that customers problems are addressed and fixed, while other chevy dealerships could not find a problem. Thank you Rich and Heather Zastrow
