I leased a 2018 Equinox from another dealership and noticed that the front of the vehicle is rusting. The dealership I leased it from is not close to my home so I was told by that dealership to visit a local dealer for documentation. When I walked in to the office in the service department there was no one there. When the service man, Mark Wittleif came he had a poor attitude. It was obvious that I interrupted his lunch. I began to explain to him the issue with my vehicle and he immediately cut me off, crossed his arms, and asked me if I bought the vehicle from their dealership. I told him that I did not, knowing that that shouldn't matter. He continued to talk over me while I was speaking so I let him know that I didn't want his help and not to follow me to my car. As he followed me out to my car anyways, he said to me, "That's the problem with these dealerships, they send people to us that don't purchase vehicles from us" and continued to mumble under his breath. I asked him if he was serious about how he was treating a potential customer and the service man told me he was kidding. I let him know that I hoped so because it was bad business the way he was treating me and talking to me. Mark told me that there's nothing that can be done about my issue. No documentation for my lease, nothing. I left unhappy. He really turned me off to this dealership and this is exactly why my family will continue to shop out of town for my Chevy needs. I sure hope that the GM can address this person's poor attitude so that you don't continue to lose business because of one disrespectful employee.

My new Colorado
Awesome experience and I got the Lifetime Powertrain. My second new vehicle from Manistee Chevrolet. Took my new Colorado for a test drive to the Weir! Barry and Terry did a great job. I will be back.

I thought where in the world would I go for a new Chevy? Then a stumbled across Manistee Chevrolet. Wow. They are awesome to work with!!!!! I worked with this short little elderly gentleman. Looked like a hobbit but so nice and knowledgeable. The entire process was fast and I felt at ease the whole time. I got a great deal!! If you are looking I would suggest Manistee Chevrolet to everyone.

I'm in the market for a newer car. I haven't found the "right" fit yet, but every time I have stopped at Manistee Chevrolet it has been a positive experience. The salespeople are knowledgeable and go out of their way to accommodate your needs. I won't overlook an opportunity to stop by and browse next time I'm in Manistee.

We wanted to shop local and support our community
In the past as a family we shopped for vehicles out of town due to pricing and overall experience. However, on Facebook I had seen that a friend and a student athlete was now working at the local Chevy Dealer. As I looked into the inventory of vehicles I could see that several vehicles fit what I was looking for. Upon meeting with our dealer Maueve she was awesome! In fact we went from buying one vehicle to getting three! The experience we had with the new owner Barry Seymour , Maueve our dealer and James our financial genius and all the staff this experience was awesome! I would highly recommend Manistee Chevorlet in Manistee!
