On February 5th, I purchased a 2013 Chevy Spark with 13K miles on it from wood Chevrolet. The salesperson Chris, told me the car was in mint condition. I pad $8,000 for it. Approximately, a week later, the heat did not work in it any longer. They replaced the coolant system, free, as it was still under a 30 day warranty. Fast forward to May 20th, Monday and the engine overheated and blew up at 5:30AM on my way to work. I immediately took a photo of the damage under the hood and sent it to woods on FB messenger. It was opened and never responded to. Panicking through my shift, I anxiously waited until the shop opened to call. They told me do not drive it, it was unsafe, have it towed to the dealership to see if they were held accountable for the damages. They told me it would be done by Friday. However, all week, they could not determine what the issue was. Finally, on Friday, after I had called a few times to check the status, I stopped in on my way to work. They proceeded to accuse me of harassment; when I began to cry, I handed my phone to Jeff to speak to my mother. Jeff Wood, the owner, immediately started to yell at my mother. After cussing at her and insinuating that she was stupid, (she has her doctorate), he told her machines break down. Which is understandable, but his idea of a “repair” was to replace the engine because he did not have the needed tool to fix it appropriately. He claimed not having the tool, was not his business or concern because he was not dealing with his own car. With that said, he wanted to charge a $500 fee for the tool. After 20 minutes of berating my mother, she said she would just contact an attorney. At that point, he claimed he would make it his top priority to find the tool. Later that day, his service manager, called me to tell me they did locate the tool and would have more information on Tuesday. I have never been treated this way from a male. I completely feel taken advantage of and lied to because I am 20 years old, a first time car buyer, full-time student, and part-time worker. I know nothing about cars and do not have male family members to assist me in things like this. Now it has been a full business week, I still am left without an answer as to the status of my car, will have thousands of dollars in repairs and labor. I feel taken advantage of and was treated poorly at best by the staff at wood Chevrolet. I can say they did give me a loaner car; however after driving it for five days, the air conditioner in this car also quit working. My word of advice to you- is to steer clear of wood Chevy. They sell poor quality cars and then do not stand behind them if the extended warranty through General Motors is no longer valid due to the age. To mention, after this review was posted on their Facebook page, the owner harassed me and continued to make racist comments. So sick about this.

Got a used car
They were very friendly and helped me very quickly. I love the car I bought but they didn't have the title for it and I had to pay for a new one.
