When in to buy a car, but I wanted to test drive it first. So I check in at the front and the lady told me it would be a 20 to 30 minute wait, so I said... it was fine, ill just go ahead and see what else is in the lot. An hour later nothing, so I went back inside and all I see is a lot of employees on there phone or just talking to each other and not doing anything. So I ask if they forgot about me, they told me I was still on the list. I was like ill give them 10 minutes more and nothing. So I left! 40 minutes later after I left I receive a phone call from them. This is ridiculous! I know I could make an appointment but that is a long time for waiting when they have all this employees not doing anything!
Called and had the car shipped to Fresno from another location. Went in to the location to buy the car as I wanted for 1 hour for the sales person to get... the manager went to take another look at the car wile waiting. I noticed the license plate was not even mounted in the center of the car in the front. I left and saved my money and went else where to get the same car.
Called 4 times - put on hold each time, then after 4-5 min. would get hung up on. Would call back and explain what happened and kept happening. Last time... called and said do not put me on hold, and please get me a Sales manager - was told to leave my name and number. No one ever called back. WOW... amazing they are still in business. Basic business practice....Take the call when a potential client calls in or at least call them back!
Called and talked to Luis about buying an SUV and have it transferred or flying in to drive it back! Called and left messages and never could get a call... back!!! Great reflection for the entire company! Don't worry I won't call again or ever buy from CarMax....extremely disappointed!!!
Long story short they sold me a car with what appears to be a rolled odometer. They are rude and not helpful. Don’t trust them.
Bought extended warranty and passenger door lock broke. Mechanics fixed lock but misaligned door in process. Was told they can not fix. Will not refund... warranty...will not return calls when they say. Disappointed. Will no longer buy cars at carmax

They run a hard credit on me and I was told approved for X amount of loan I was excited and wanted to purchase one of their vehicle but no one got back... to me in a week. I call and left many message car max did not return my call. Bad customer service, bad dealer, and overall experience 0 star.
I like their service. They have a lot of cars. No pressure from sales reps. I just thought their caqrs were more expensive than other places.
