We bought a 2018 Kia Soul brand new for my Wife. She is a service coordinator for the elderly and has to be accessible 24/7 for them. From day one the... hands free phone was useless. Constantly cut in and out making it impossible for the person on the other end to hear what she was saying. For 2 years I complained about it every time we brought it in for maintenance. They always said the same thing. They could not duplicate the problem. One time I spoke with the service rep driving home until it started acting up. He gave me the name and number of the service manager. Called him and he said he would look into it. Never heard back. Filed a complaint with Kia. Never heard back. I begged, pleaded and yelled for them to try a new microphone or antenna but got no response. Finally I filed a Lemon Law case with the Attorney General's office. I get a call the next day saying they want to try replacing the antenna and mic. Brought it in, had them replaced and problem was solved.
This dealership lies and does not care at all about customer service and making things right . We bought a used car from here only 8 months ago, after... 3 break downs on the side of the road and costly repairs each time ..we brought it in for repair once again (always the same symptoms) This time I requested they give us a loaner car. Which they did. 7 whole weeks went by, they finally call to tell us the vehicle can’t be fixed to come in so we can discuss the terms of a replacement. We go on the following day to find out that have no intention on giving us anything comparable . Only kept pushing for a new car or a used that would cost at least $100 more a month. I explained this was not an acceptable resolution. We were told by the service manager that we would be able to get a replacement and the sales manager would take care of us. The general manager didn’t even want to work with us or even come close to what we were already paying . We didn’t want to give back the loaner til there was a agreeable resolution but They forced us to take our car back that is unsafe and unreliable and even called the police , lying to them right in front of my face ( telling them we had the loaner for 57 days and refuse to return it!!) We were there when we were called the following day, we were hoping to have a different car that was reliable and close to equivalent. So now we are stuck making payments on a vehicle that is unreliable which means it’s worth nothing!!!
I was surprised that they were able to match the deal from another store. They brought the color of the car we Thought we wanted, but were Glad to know... we could change because they had that other color in stock. Rob and the Service tech drove the new car home for me, couldn't drive 2. If you go to Gateway Quakertown,Pa ask for Rob..... He did a GGGGGreat job. Thanks again Rob.
I purchased a used vehicle back in May of this year (2020). This was right around the time the dealerships had opened back up so their sales team was... eager to make a sale understandably. I decided to purchase a used vehicle, looked to be in great condition with good mileage. The sales manager promised to order floor mats for me and call when they were in. Never got a call but it wasn't the end of the world to me so I just let it go because I am not the type of person to make waves about small stuff. My father co-signed so they needed some additional information of his which I sent via text to the sales manager the day he requested it, mind you it was confidential information. The dealership proceeded to contact my father for this information which I did not know right away. I finally called back and spoke with the sales manager to find out where the mix up was with the information, turns out he had the information the whole time. My vehicle in the mean time experienced a strong leak every time it rained significantly. I ended up with a large puddle in the passenger side floor. Now again, not one to make waves and being pretty handy myself, I noticed the rubber trim around the door frame was loose. I got glue and glued that thinking that was the problem. We had another significant storm about a week later and the same thing happened. I called the dealership as it has only been 2.5 months since I purchased the vehicle. I was transferred numerous times, hung up on, the sales manager no longer wanted to deal with me so pawned me off to the service manager and then another team member. Just an awful experience! Beware of this dealership!
The service advisors go above and beyond to meet the customers needs and provide satisfaction through an excellent shopping experience. Awesome sales and... service department, they resolved the problem with my vehicle in a timely manner, and thoroughly explained what was wrong with my vehicle. I will definitely return for all my vehicle needs. Thank you
I'm shopping for a used SUV and test drove a 2008 Toyota RAV4 at Gateway Kia the other day. Pretty good exterior condition and low miles, so I was encouraged.... But after reading the Carfax and seeing that the vehicle was on the lot for a long time, I decided to take it to the mechanic for a quick inspection before making the purchase. What the mechanic told me was appalling. The vehicle would not only have failed a PA inspection, but was unsafe to drive due to issues with both front lower ball joints. I've included a copy of the inspection report just to illustrate how terrible the vehicle condition was. It's bad enough for a customer to worry about being financially duped by used car dealers - but to sell an unsafe vehicle that wouldn't even pass an inspection is reprehensible. Just imagine how many vehicles they've sold to unsuspecting customers with such issues. Thank goodness I took it to the mechanic. I wouldn't recommend Gateway Kia for anything based on my experience.
PLEASE READ THIS POST!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. I purchased a 2019 KIA SPORTAGE had to bring back 1st week due to shake in steering... wheel. Was told it was i was feeling the road. Had to bring car back several times still not fixed. All you are to this dealership is a person that purchased a car. They will treat you nice as soon as you walk in to make a deal after the deal is done you are nothing. After many times trying to fix the car its still no good. FROM THE OWNER ALL THE WAY DOWN THE LINE NO ONE CARES. I keep being told Thats what your warranty is for they just treat you like garbage. Its a shame that as a loyal customer they would treat you the way they do. NO ONE CARES i must say that mike and Tatiana are great but i know their hands are tied from manager and owner. They gave me my car back and it does not work. tried to explain to them. They just mush me away and told me the ticket is closed and i should just find a lawyer to handle the problem. They are unprofessional and customer service is no good. Like i said PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. TAKE THE TIME OUT AND DRIVE SOMEWHERE ELSE. PLEASE REPOST THIS SO THE SAME THING DOES NOT HAPPEN TO YOU DO NOT BUY A LEMON LIKE I DID THEY JUST DONT CARE.
Purchased a used car for my son and less than 3 months the transmission went up. They were less than helpful. Be careful when purchasing from this place.... Awful customer service.
Bought two cars from here, very happy with my experience. Also had repairs done on the one car, service guys were super nice and made everything so easy... for me. Highly recommend.
