Horrible Customer Service

Richard Deeds is the worst service advisor I have ever met. I went in for a recall that BMW called me for, and when they gave me my car back 1 day later oil leaked everywhere and they said I need $5000 worth of repairs, after they inspected it. Never did it leak like that before. He hung up on me and blamed it on me when I asked for him to make it right. He didn’t even look at the problem but said I had an attitude when I didn’t even cuss or even yell. Not sure if Valley BMW is against American free speech, but Richard Deeds needs to be accountable.its not a coincidence that my car leaked oil everywhere after Richard Deeds serviced it, but apparently his unaccountability says it was. How do you hang up on a customer whose car you potentially ruined? Avoid this shady Service Tech.

Worst Dealership in the Central Valley

My service advisor Kam was nice and helpful. However, the service department as a whole is not organized, nor well communicated. No greeter or a check-in-person as customers arrive, no coffee or pastries while waiting. Thank goodness they got rid of the outside kiosk machine they had last year, I thought I was ordering a $1000 big Mac at the McDonald's. The place is not friendly or welcoming. So far, compare to Stevens Creek BMW, Modesto Mercedes, Valley Lexus (same owner), Merced Volkswagen, Mistlin Honda, Modesto Toyota dealership service departments, Valley BMW is at the very bottom of my favorite dealerships. It's very frustrating to get any accurate information. I was notified by a text that my car was ready around 4 pm, I showed up at 8:30 the next morning after a 50 min drive from home, and I was told that my car was not ready, it was a wrong text, I asked Kam to double check, he then said it was ready and it's being washed right now. I waited about 30 min, got my keys, it was full of condensation, definitely not "just washed". I don't know what I was waiting for the whole time. Anyway, my car finally got washed as promised, I was there waiting to pick up a "READY" vehicle for 90 min. Not a "I'm sorry for the confusion and misinformation, thank you for waiting". I wish they can improve upon their service, make the experience more informative and pleasant.

Poor customer service, disgrace for a BMW Dealer

Here is my experience with purchasing a vehicle from Valley BMW, Modesto California. “Very poor customer service”. A negative experience for me and disgraceful for a BMW Dealership! It started from the time they received my check all the way to the end! “BEWARE POOR MANAGEMENT AND STAFF” This company is very UNPROFESSIONAL for a BMW Dealership. Very poor service after they close the deal on a internet purchase of a vehicle. From the General manager Ken, the sales manager Josh, and sales person Monique, who never called me once to let me know when they received the signed contract, when my check cleared the bank or when the transport company picked up my car. I had to always call to find our the progress of the sale. Even the people handling the paperwork in the office got one star, nothing more. They conduct business in a selfish, unprofessional and spiteful manner. Not even a follow up call, text, email or letter in the mail thanking me for doing business with them. They sent me a packet with the sales contract and all the disclosures that I needed to sign and return to close the deal. Most of you know how many signatures you are required to provide, maybe a dozen pages of disclosures that I had to sign. I received the paperwork back from them with just one page which was just the contract, that’s it! Where’s my copies of all the rest of the documents??? NONE!! I never received any of it. This is totally wrong. The customer should have all copies of all signed documents pertaining to the sale. Poor business practices! This was an out of state sale and car will be registered in Hawaii. I asked Josh to please send the title for the vehicle to me, along with all the other documents so I can get the registration completed in Hawaii. I further explain that California DMV has nothing to do with this vehicle because it will not be driven in California, it is being shipped directly to Hawaii. It will be registered in Hawaii and the DMV here will send the title to the financing company after recording the registration transaction. My financing company also sent Valley BMW a letter stating that they send the title to me and that they are cleared of all liabilities for the title transfer. Even after receiving this letter Josh tells me that they will do it their way. How can any dealership make this many mistakes on a vehicle transaction? BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Sorry for this negative review but it is the truth.

Thank you

It was great they helped me with everything that I needed. And they gave me a lot of options to choose from. They also contacted/called me and asked me if I need help or wanted to go for a test drive.

Cars.com worked well for out of town buyers

The sales person I dealt with at Valley BMW was easy to talk to and was easy to get hold of on the phone when needed. What made this more complicated was I don't live anywhere near this dealer in Modesto CA. I asked if they would meet me halfway just to show me the car and let me inspect and drive it, no obligation. We both drove about 2 hrs and met up. The sales person, informed me of financing offers for BMWs and said, pretty much the price of he car was the price of the car, no haggling. Having done some research, the asking price was a good price for this car. I didn't have a trade so that made the deal easy, pay the price and doc fees and shipping. I live out of state, so the dealer was nice enough to split the $500 shipping fee, down to $250. $250 to deliver the car to my house seemed liker a deal! Looking at the car, it was in the promised condition, no dents and perfect. At our meeting spot, all the salesman had all the paperwork prepped including loan papers. Wrote a check and the car gets delivered to my house, they even threw in a free BMW shirt. It was a painless way to buy a car from a dealer 200 miles away.
