BUYER BEWARE!

BUYER BEWARE!!!! WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! This was my third BMW purchase and I was buying a vehicle from out of state. Things started out great. Got a very thorough video walk around of the vehicle and got a comforting "we're experts at online car sales after the pandemic so don't worry the process will be easy." I put down a deposit and then things went to crap. Was supposed to have a screen sharing session with finance to sign documents. Two hours after my "scheduled" call, I called them. I was told they would upload things and call me right back. Another two and a half hours later I call back only to be told the finance officer was busy but she'd call me right back. Forty minutes later I call back only to end up going over the documents with someone else because the original finance representative didn't think my business was worth those there in person. I'm then told certain documents had to be signed physically so they are overnighted to me. I sign them and overnight them back. Once received I'm told it will be 24-48 hours for the loan to be funded and the vehicle set up for transport. Time passes and I hear nothing. I personally called the bank only to find out Jackie Cooper pulled the docs for some reason. I call the dealership only to be told "oh sorry we should have called you 2 days ago." They say something on the documents was listed on the wrong line and they needed to be corrected and resigned. We go through the overnight process again to again be told funding will be in 24-48 hours. A few days later nothing. I again call the bank they inform me they have never received anything back from the dealership. I contact the dealership to be told the bank won't accept an online signature they needed a physical one. I voice my frustration about these issues only be told by the finance director "well you can cancel the purchase." I found this degrading and offensive as again showing they really didn't care about me as a buyer since I wasn't there in person. I take care of this final signature to finally have the loan funded over 3 weeks from the date of my down payment. Now I'm just told my vehicle is allegedly in transport but I have no information on that either. What company? When did it leave? When will it be here? Who do I contact with issues? I've asked for calls from the general manager to discuss my frustrations but haven't heard anything from him in the 2 weeks I've been asking. I'm seriously beginning to wonder if I'll actually get my vehicle or if I've just been scammed out of $60k. Take it from me buy else where.

The worst most Shiesty unprofessional dealership in North

The worst most Shiesty unprofessional dealership in North America after the sale. They will treat you kind to your face, but the most disrespectful no integrity, They will screw you any chance they get Richard Vera the GM of the dealership is a liar and a fat mouth, His words mean nothing, He will lie to you to your face and try to make you believe the lies, Pay attention to your paperwork, Classic bait and switch all the numbers will change if you have to fill out your paperwork more than one time go through with a fine tooth comb, Pay attention keep your head on a swivel when dealing with these people here, You are a target walking into the dealership, No matter how nice they are to your face underneath all of that is a ploy to wrap you into a contract accidentally changing everything along the way they say buyer beware, When You really want a BMW my best advice I can give you is to drive to Dallas, Stay away from Jackie cooper BMW and Edmond do your due diligence travel to Dallas and get treated with class even after the sale imagine that

Brought vehicle in for a safety recall.

Brought vehicle in for a safety recall. Was told 2 things needed immediate attention in the amount of $1,962.27 and recommended service in the amount of $781.60. Was also told both back tires had nails in them, took vehicle to a tire shop and they informed me no nails in either tire.

My wife and I have bought/leased new BMWs from Jackie

My wife and I have bought/leased new BMWs from Jackie Cooper for more than two decades. Both the sales staff (Franklin Sherrod is a wonderful guy) and the service personnel (Ray Shannon is 10/10) are unfailingly polite, friendly and professional. The only negative I might offer is that we sometimes have difficulty lining up a courtesy car when our vehicles are in the shop. However, I always keep in mind that their courtesy car program is a COURTESY to me! This is a 5-star dealership that always provides a pleasant customer experience.

Well when I went to purchase the vehicle I was crossed

Well when I went to purchase the vehicle I was crossed around between four salesmen. I paid for the car and they said they needed to do a safety check. I never heard a word back from the dealership for 2 weeks. They gave me a loaner that had a low tire. It went flat and left me stranded.Awful customer service. Everyone I called never returned my phone calls. I picked up the car and had it for 3 weeks and the batteries in the keys were dead.it came time to get my tag and no title. They just kept brushing me off. They blamed everything on a bad training experience.DO NOT BUY A CAR from this dealership. They will screw you over. When I left the dealership, I inform them that I will drive all the way to Dallas, Texas before I ever bought another car from Cooper.

Bought a used 2018 vehicle.

Bought a used 2018 vehicle. Was told it passed their BMW certified inspection. Test drive it; the arm rest was broken. Told they would fix it by the sales person. Then after we came to pick it up; sales manager said they wouldn’t fix it it. This is AFTER we paid for it and they kept it 4 days “detailing and fixing the issues” beyond the 72 hours return policy. When we got it home; filled up the washer fluid tank realized it was broken and immediately contacted them. Was told to bring it in, they would fix it. Then once again, after we dropped it off was told by sales manager they would not cover or fix it. Was missing the tow cover on the back. Was told it would be replaced when they “detailed & fixed it” Guess what, once again wasn’t replaced/foxed. Was told they detailed it prior; had sticky residue on the driver’s side seat and door. Stay away from this dealership. They do not keep their word nor do they honor it.

Disabled Veterans beware!

Disabled Veterans beware! Jackie Cooper BMW does not support %100 percent disabled veterans, they refused to honor my Oklahoma sales tax exemption for over $800 worth of taxes. All they did was laugh and say they don’t care about bad reviews because it’s above their pay grade. Apparently people have forgotten what us veterans had to go through or endure to even receive a card like that. I will make sure and be heard that this business discriminates against veterans and disabled veterans and think it’s funny and not one manager wanted to come out and speak to me even after I said I was going to let people know about how my experience. I also would never recommend this business for service of any kind. My car was prepaid for service and in there almost a month sitting there for weeks. I finally get it back today and it dirtier than when it came in after a huge five digit bill. Every step from the time I dropped off my car to the time I picked it up was a very atrocious experience. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Dealer response

John, we are deeply concerned by your review. Providing a 5-star experience is our #1 goal. We have reviewed your case with our team to look for training opportunities. What we found is that this is regarding an insurance claim, and the bill was paid by your insurance company. The billing was handled appropriately. If you have any further questions regarding the taxes paid by your insurance company, you will need to request that information from them. We process insurance claims through the adjuster, and the process was followed correctly. We appreciate your veteran status and all that you have sacrificed to qualify for that. We also appreciate your service. Please reach out to our general manager Richard Vairo if you have any further questions for us.

Consumer response

Your process was not followed correctly!! My Tax exemption and id was taken and made copies of which I never received back. I called the insurance adjuster with the service advisor. Geico explained that they payed what they have to pay, that the tax benefits are for the Veteran and for you to take off the taxes, and leave the remaining balance. The insurance company was %100 fine with my tax benefit and even thanked me for my service. They also said if you’re so worried about your books you could have given me a veterans discount like most dealerships do except for you. The real problem was your service advisor needed everything to match up to what he turned in a day early so he could get my ticket in his July paycheck. Bottom line is you took my information for $843 in tax exemptions and between me and Geico the bill was payed in full and you are trying to keep the $843 with no reimbursement to me or Geico. This is criminal and against the law. Also your service advisor doesn’t know how to talk to anyone and would be fired immediately at any other dealership I’ve worked with. The sad part about this all, is we were finally talked into the BMW family and purchased a M8 convertible and I didn’t want anyone else to service it except BMW. I definitely learned my lesson. I have also called the dealership over and over again and cannot get a Manager on the phone or a call back.

I’m so disappointed in this dealership!

I’m so disappointed in this dealership! I bought a used 2019 Toyota Highlander there in August of 2023, less than a year ago, and I just had to spend $4900 on an oil pan leak 2 1/2 weeks after they had my car in for an oil change. My engine light came on as I was leaving the parking lot and they turned it off and told me it was a crankshaft sensor. Nothing was wrong with the sensor and I died in the middle of a busy street and had to have it towed. Conveniently, this was a part that was excluded from my extended warranty. So disappointing!
