They tried to hide problems with the car I bought.

They tried to hide problems with the car I bought. They were nasty on the phone when I reported the problems. Then they agreed to fix them and gave us a "bill" showing what they fixed. While getting the car inspected, I found that they lied about fixing the problems. I would never work with them again.

I purchased a Nissan Rogue AWD (2015) that had a little

I purchased a Nissan Rogue AWD (2015) that had a little over 90,000 miles on it. .After few days of driving it, I notice that the tranmission wasn't changing like it was suppose to and the car would also shut down on me without any warning at all. The heater would work sometimes. I called David and spoke with him about the issues, and he completely dismissed my concern. So he told me to go and take it to Ralph in vineland to check out the transmission and sure enought Ralph even said it was going to need another transmission. David advised me to keep driving the vehicle unitl the warranty kicks in so he don't have to come out of his own pocket for the cost of the repairs. So Jan 2 the car was taken to the nissan dealership on delsea drive for further testing, and just like I said, it needed a tranmission! David stated that truck has a CVT tranmission and thats part of the sound, but that was a lie, cause I have had several nissans with CVT tranmission and never had a issue at all. Team Nissan (service rep Steve said it was in fact the transmission was the only person who reach out to me to let me know what was going on with my vehicle. I called David and he talked to me like everything I mention to him was invaild. He was nasty, very rude to me and he stated he can't sleep at night and he needs to talk to his therapist, because he is stress out. His own employees have called him a xxxxxxx because he don't know how to talk to people. IM highly disappointed and I WOULD NEVER ADVISE NOBODY, INCLUDING MY EMEMIES NOT TO GO TO DAVE & Mikes for a vehicle..

NEVER GO TO DAVE & MIKES USED CARS BRIDGETON NJ

Back in April I purchased a vehicle from Dave & Mikes. Paid cash for the vehicle. Prior to signing the documents and handing over the cash I did inform the salesman about issues we noticed when we started up the car. Check engine light, tire pressure light, brake light + more. The salesman said with a confused look on his face it’s no way the check engine light is on. He had another person whom work there go outside with the car code reader and when he came back said oh it’s a fuse something very small. Let me get Dave on the phone and try and work out something. They lowered the price a little since the check engine light was on. By September I had spoken with Dave about the issues with the vehicle. He stated it was his friends vehicle he knew it had problems but his friend really wanted help selling the vehicle. Dave stated that he wanted to make this situation “right” he DIDNT want his dealership to get a “bad” name over a 3900 car. He offered to give me 3000 for the car I previously purchased. For nearly 2 weeks every time I called to speak with him he was unavailable. I was near the dealership on my day off of work so I stepped inside instead of calling because I was starting to feel like he was avoiding me & truly DID NOT want to make this situation right. When I stepped inside the door he has another customer in his office and he is already becoming very loud. I asked where this attitude was coming from; the last time we spoke you acknowledged you sold me a BAD CAR and you would do everything in your power to make it right. At this point I’m apologizing to the customer whom is sitting in the office. Dave jumps up from his chair saying “it’s nothing I can do” An employee I spoke to prior comes inside the doorway and I’m asking him why is this man acting crazy and yelling. The worker seemed just as confused as I was. I had a relative outside waiting for me who came running in when she heard him yelling. He acted as if he was calling the cops I WISH HE WOULD HAVE BECAUSE I WOULD OF FILED A REPORT AGAINST HIM WITH THEM. My relative and I walked out and left. I DEFINITELY WOULDNT RECOMMENDED THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! RUN & DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. I was never disrespectful, I came to Dave & Mikes to purchase a vehicle not to be yelled at by a nasty, overweight, sloppy CON MAN!

We are very sorry for the experience that you had here. Dave has been in business for over 30 years and has built a great relationship with the finance companies that we deal with. He was very upset when you tried to scam him and the finance companies by trying to finance a vehicle with someone else's driver's license. Not only did he notice what you were trying to do but also noticed that you were driving a vehicle that wasn't in your name without a driver's license with a child in the back. He is a very passionate and concerned person when it comes to experiences like this one. He did get very upset and loud and tried to have you leave his office as he said he did not want to do business with you, and he could not do business with you because of the driver's license situation. He did mention calling the cops as you did rush back into his office and into his face. He was unsure of what you were going to do, so in protection he called the cops. He also called the cops to try and prevent you from driving without a license especially with a kid in the back which is illegal. We hope that this clears up why he was so upset and got loud with you. We are sorry that you may have not understood why but hopefully you understand now. Once again, we are very sorry for the experience that you had here.

CAUTION…….

I purchased outright a car, only to find out that Dave did not have the title and the fellow he got the car from did not have the title and there was still a lien on the car from another party. He stated that this was “done all the time.” Then he yelled at me, threatened to sue and screamed that I had “got” him. It was the most frightening and unprofessional behavior that I have ever experienced. In the end, I received a refund but be careful: if purchasing a car, make sure that the title is there. Also, avoid Dave. The rest of the staff is very good. Without them, Dave would have no business.

After the encounter I just had with Dave, it's hard to choose the right adjectives to accurately describe this fraudulent business. A few words that come to mind are rude, dishonest, disrespectful, and arrogant. Unfortunately, some people in this world cannot keep their word . They will threaten and intimidate other people, raise their voices, make up lies, and victimize themselves to try to renegotiate the terms of a transaction after the fact. Those are exactly the kind of people you can expect to deal with here. It's too bad I cannot leave a negative number of stars. Absolutely pathetic.

So long story short dave the manager, cussed us out because he went back on a promise, legit scam artist and xxxxxxx this guy is, im sorry in advance for anyone who has or had to deal with this sorry excuse for a human being, stay safe and dont go here lol even if its your last resort, you’ll thank me lter
