It was great and I was helped in any thing I needed or asked for
I went in expecting to purchase a small used vehicle for work. Chris Ashcraft took the time to give me all of my options and was never pushy. I ended... up getting a midsize jeep that I LOVE and can afford. He even took the time to make sure I knew how everything worked. I highly recommend Chris Ashcraft, he made the buying experience pleasurable. I will use this dealership again.
Wanting to "down size" cars, a friend led me to Preferred Used Cars in Fairfield to look over their inventory. And, there it was. My littlr Mercedes convertible... at a price I could afford. the sales staff made the trade-in and sale quick and easy. I was so impressed, my son bought his son his first car there and my son-in-law bought a car for his business. But the sale didn't end there as they are prepared to meet ant service or maintance needs we may have, tune ups, etc. My theory of buying local and from a family owned business was realized once again! My family thanks your family!
i read some of the views online about not letting you test drive one of their cars but they are local so i checked it out. They let me drive 2 different... trucks the same day. The salesman was super nice and when I mentioned a ding on the back fender he said they would fix that. i bought the truck and took it back like they said and it was fixed in about an hour. i will buy my next truck from them to be sure. Also like there commercials with that girl and sunglasses in it.
I needed another car but I didn't know what I wanted. A friend of mine told me to check thse guys out. They have sports cars and trucks and everything... in between. I settled on a 2006 GMC Envoy and I love it! I was surprised no hi pressure sales guys wanting to take my Keys. I hate it when salespeople do that!
Drove two hours to view a car I'd been emailing two sales reps about, neither thought to click the carguru link or CL link attached to the email stating,... the car was listed a different price than they wanted. What a joke. Buyers beware. No organization or communication skills. Car seemed a little botchy but expected from a used lot with 10 year old cars.
Wonderful people! I am in the beginning process for looking for a used vehicle and this dealership is definitely worth the stop! Joe knows his stock, can... find a vehicle for you, and extremely pleasant to work with. I will be buying from here!! And will recommend them to anyone looking for a used car. Much easier and friendlier than the big dealerships I've dealt with in the past.
Stopped by as I am beginning the process of looking for a used car. Everyone was friendly, Joe was very professional and knew his stock, and the buying... process. They were very good to deal with and I will definitely recommend to anyone I know looking for a used vehicle.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS 'LOT ROT'! DO NO LET THEM TELL YOU THIS! Multiple mechanics have explained to me that if there's 'lot rot' it's permanent and... won't just fix itself by being driven. Bought a Lexus that seemed to be in great shape EXCEPT for a vibration that occurred at certain speeds. The salesmen felt it also and agreed to put in the Due Bill that if it did not 'go away' (called it 'lot rot'?) after driving it for a few days that they would fix it. Didn't go away, so took it to Midas where they finally found a bent rim. Dealership said they only could fix the 'tires' and that the rims weren't their problem - even though they agreed to fix the 'vibration' in general. After a lot of complaining and back and forth, got them to have 'their guy fix it'. All they did was add weight to 'balance' it so that the vibration was barely lessened and just occurred at different speeds. Took it to a rim repair shop and they discovered that all 4 rims were bent (some worse than others) and that others had weights added to them also. Cost me +$1000 total for inspections, replacing the really bad rim, and repairing the other 3. Wasted my time and money even trying to have the dealership 'take care of it' like they promised. They seem very personable and like they will help you out but switched on me when I ran into problems. Then tried to convince me to bring it back for maintenance in the future. HA! Thank goodness I still love the car, just think it's messed up that I called the vibration a problem from the get-go and ultimately got the run-around and NO real help from them. Get EVERYTHING in the Due Bill and IN YOUR OWN WORDS. They worded things just right so that they wouldn't have to be liable for the actual problem.
Preferred used cars: Had the customer originally brought the vehicle back to our service center as agreed in writing per her due bill, the problem wou...ld have been resolved with no cost to her. The customer instead took the vehicle to a Midas muffler shop for an opinion. when she finally brought the car to Preferred used cars, we sent her 1 bent rim to a professional wheel repair shop to be fixed and gave the customer a copy of the bill for the repair. All tires were then balanced which does require wheel weights to be added on the rim. The car was returned to the customer with no further vibration at no cost to the customer.
I just purchased my 2nd car from Preferred, It is a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited I love the car. I traded my Lexus GX 470 and it went really easy.... I have the car and payment i wanted. Thanks to they guys at Preferred used cars.
