I visited the S.

I visited the S.W.S. Young dealership for my 50th birthday purchase. I was greeted and treated with true southern, no pressure hospitality. I was given respect and the opportunity to make informed buying decisions with the courteous professional assistance of Mr. Todd Bradley. After test driving two vehicles I made my decision to purchase. Mr. Jim Kaminska was also excellent in processing my buying decision in a knowledgeable, painless, speedy fashion. The entire process was very simple and smooth! The vehicle that I purchased has now been thru 10 southern states without 1 issue at all! An amazing team at this dealership and amazing quality vehicles! I completely trust this team and HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Go see them today!!! Blessings!

One star is too high for this dealership.

One star is too high for this dealership. Bought a car from them, and 3 weeks later, there were multiple major issues with the car. It being less then 30 days I figured they would do the right thing and fix it, so I gave them a call an talked with the owner, his response was "it wasn't broke when I sold it to you. Do not buy a car from these guys, they are liars and crooks and definitely do not listen to them about their person they work with at Texell credit Union because they sold us a car warranty and told us it was covered the moment we pulled off the lot that was also a lie. They are also selling a car that would not pass a safety inspection. They are lying about the safety of the vehicle. There is no integrity with these guys they will say anything to make a quick buck

Purchases a 2000 TJ.

Purchases a 2000 TJ. In the signed contract they were supposed to install the third brake light that was missing. Within 24 found out 24 hrs later the synch and 1st gear was bad. They took it to their shop to repair the transmission and install the brake light. was told it would be $750 out of my pocket and they would pay the "bill" of the repair. After 6 weeks I went to their shop. I was told the entire repair was $750. I called KAS and told them no deal. Put the transmission back together reinstall it and I would take it to my shop. The next day the sales person called and said he and his coworker would pay half out of their poctet. I agreed. When I got it back the transmission was worse. They only replaced the shift fork and it was too long. The brake light that they ordered was a little see dirty part from eBay and was for the wrong model jeep. After making a complaint to BBB that they ignored, I had to replace the brake light out of my own pocket. And pay my mechanic to replace the shift fork, synchronizer, and (surprise?) first gear. Still will not acknowledge the breach of contract.

Update on 2000 Jeep purchased on 3/14.

Update on 2000 Jeep purchased on 3/14. KAS took Jeep to their repair shop. I was told I would be paying $750 for my portion of the repair and KAS would pay the balance. After 5 weeks I went to the repair shop and was told that KAS was only being charged $$750. When I questioned the manager of KAS he was again confrontational and said that because thee repair shop was waiving the labor because "KAS gave them so much business" I told them to put the jeep back together and I would take it to my repair shop. He tried to say he did not know I had a repair shop when I had texts to my sales person giving him the P Repair shop had jeep for 6 weeks and replaced the wrong part when I had texted them telling them what the problem was with my Repair persons contact info. They talked me into the repair with them splitting the cost of the repair. The shop called and said the part they put in did not fix the problem. The shop did not charge them and my sales person gave me $250 for my trouble and I left the tail light with them. The jeep was returned in worse condition than it was dropped off in, First gear was useless. and the third tail light that they had ordered per the contract was for the wrong model. Used nasty Ebay part covered in dust and cobwebs. Now, $1500 later, it works great. My shop had it for 2 weeks because they had to tear down my tranny 3x to repair. The KAS repair shop put the too long of a shift fork in and my shop. My shop was mistakin in thinking that the KAS shop at least put the correct part in just didn't complete the full job because they are too cheap. And add $150 for me purchasing a new third tail light and installing it myself my jeep is just fine. DON'T DO IT. Yes they didn't HAVE to take the jeep back for repair, but they did. the least they could do is return it in the same condition it was dropped off in or don't say they are going to repair it and half a$$ it.

Sold jeep that has bad 1st gear and synchronizer and

Sold jeep that has bad 1st gear and synchronizer and refuses to repair or help with repair. It jumps out of gear when starting from a stop. We notified them within 24 hours of purchase. Took it back for them to look at and they could not find a problem. When I went with salesperson to speak to Jim at WSYoung store, I was yelled at, mansplained, reprimanded for bringing up the issue, told I do not know how to drive a stick shift and told that that is what manual transmissions do. I was told I could either return it or live with it. They would not repair it. It was sold as is. Yes it was. There was no notifications on the advertisement that the first gear did not work. If I returned the jeep, would they sell it again to some unknowing person so they could get in an accident pulling into traffic and having the vehicle jump out of first gear with a noise so loud it sounds like you have been hit by another car? Also, still waiting for third tail light installation so it can pass inspection. Everyday I call and I am told it is not in yet. I purchased it on 3/14.

Look at fine print.

Look at fine print. Wanted to buy a $23K car cash but convinced me to finance only to include all additional stuff no needed. When contract done I was going to end up paying $36K because of all things Sade’s on their end when car was only with 10k miles. It had manufacturers warranty still but they insisted they needed to sell the car with all those additional warranties. They wanted to make an extra $8k profit selling me stuff I specifically told them I did not need. Do not buy from them. Very bad experience

Would never purchase from their auto group again

Killeen Certified listed a VW Atlas online for $38,707 on cars.com. 1. They will not discuss numbers over the phone but took a deposit to hold the car. 2. We flew 3000+ miles and our salesman was on vacation-we had no notice of such, even though he and I were emailing back and forth that day. Management assigned a salesman until another walked in and said he made arrangements with the first salesman to handle the sale. On to salesman #3. 3. I asked the price-it was $700 more than cars.com, which was $700 more than when I put a deposit down. Killeen would not honor the $38,707 cars.com price because I didn't have a screenshot of it. 4. Killeen would not accept our pre-approved loan financing because it was out of state. They ran our credit report 3 times and offered us a rate 1.25% over our already approved rate. We have excellent credit, the rate should have been much lower. We initialed a financial form to determine payments with the cost of the vehicle portion blank. The salesman said it was just for payment info, don't worry about it. 5. We had to transfer to their Killeen VW dealership because the car had never been registered. 6. The Killeen VW Finance Director had to start everything over and wanted to pull our credit report-no way. He used our already-pulled credit report and offered a lower rate but still 0.45% higher than our pre-approval. 7. After 6 hours into the purchase I asked again what the cost of the vehicle was. The blank initialed financing form now showed costs at $700 higher and fees almost $8,000 higher than the $38,707 advertised, MORE THAN A BRAND NEW ONE, which I showed him on my phone. 8. Fees included certified pre-owned fees (~$1,600), reconditioning fee (~$1,600), GPS anti-theft fee (~2,000), and window tinting ($695), plus more. 9. I asked at the first dealership for the CARFAX. It showed they had removed the GPS that they were trying to charge us the anti-theft for. He removed that fee. 10. The final agreement waived all the fees if we bought the VW Drive Easy 96 mo./85,000 mile warranty for $2,225. I'm sure they charged extra for it. 11. A month later and the car is still not registered and will take 4-6 weeks. Killeen's Warranty manager said there is no way to expedite it. 12. I plan to refinance the vehicle with our original pre-approval but can’t without the outstanding registration.
