Great selection, good sales folk; follow-up lacks

The GOOD: quite a few Corvettes of all ages available, and they will help you find something nationwide if they don't have what you want. Very low-pressure sales people who are interested in helping me find what I want, rather than selling me on a particular car. They did a good job of prepping the car's appearance before turning it over. The BAD: the day after I drove the car home (about 30 miles) one tire was down to 20psi; it apparently has a slow leak. Also, the dashboard buzzes (loudly) above 60mph. I mentioned both these issues to my salesman, but they had no interest, even though the dashboard buzz was something they supposedly addressed in their pre-sale work. Also, they wouldn't allow me to test drive on any sort of highway; just around the neighborhood of the dealer. The WORST: they took 45 days to complete the title paperwork (GA law specifies 30 days), and did not do an emissions inspection as required by Georgia law. So I got stuck driving the vehicle to an emissions station with an expired dealer temporary tag.

2004 Corvette ZO6

I recently purchased a silver one owner ZO6 2004 Corvette from Buyavette. I dealt with Aaron, John and Keith and they are all represent the business well. I am an old school muscle car guy and was on the hunt for a ZO6 C5 to replace my CTS V. In my humble opinion it is the next 69 Camaro in regards to they are getting harder to find and are a great performance for the dollar value. Buyavette always seems to have a fresh supply. I looked many other places and Buyavette had more model choices and they could get financing where as most other dealers did not offer that due to the age of the car, and finance companies not understanding what these vehicles are. I got a great price, they took my trade and I couldn't be happier. These guys are straight shooters. When I picked up the vehicle John immediately pointed out a minor scratch on the car and they also sent me touch up paint. The other great thing is they do have power train warranty, 2 years or 50,000 miles. Show me another dealer that does that. They stand behind their inventory. Also I usually end up doing some mods and that means you void your warranty with most dealers. So I'm sitting in Johns' office and he's telling me headers are okay, ECU tune is okay , cold air intake is okay, what? Am I hearing this right? So as long as I don't crack into the engine like heads or cam I can mod? Love it! Music to my ears! I am back to banging gears in a serious muscle car that I purchased for less than a new Honda or Camry. Thank you to all the guys at Buyavette Sincerely p.h.

Buyer Beware

Bought my first ever corvette from Buy A Vette in Atlanta on October 2015, if I had known about corvettes I definitely wouldn't have bought that particular car from them. The salesman assured me I was getting a reliable car (2002 auto coupe with 86k miles for $19050.75 after trade in) and he also sold me a "top notch" extended warranty which cost me $ 2,431 included in above price. Right of the lot the car was riddled with problems and was in the shop 5 times before I even made my first car payment. Here is a list: 1) As soon as I parked the car at home I noticed it was leaking oil. Bad oil pressure unit. They replaced it at no charge. 2) Got the car back and it was leaking coolant. Coolant tank had a crack. Was covered by warranty with 100$ deductible. 3) Leaving the shop active handling control went bad, had to turn around from 1 hour commute to take car back, this time it came out of my pocket. 4) Car was still leaking coolant now it was a bad water pump another 100$ deductible. 5) When I bought the car the front windshield weatherstripping was broken. Salesman told me it would be no problem. First day it rained my car got wet. Had to spend 500$ on a new one and 200$ for them to install. 6) Front air xxxx spoiler was missing, again had to buy it out of my pocket. They installed it at no charge and when they did they pointed out radiator support was bent. 7) Driver side turn signal was cracked, which was letting water in and blowing the bulb. Also had to buy new housing. 8) Driver side headlight was missing side cover gasket, also had to buy. 9) Car came with no manual also had to buy. 10) Both seats had tears on them. 11) Several interior tabs were missing. 12) Climate control lights partially working. 13) Driver side mirror was damaged. 14) Ripped trim on passenger door. 15) Driver side sun visor was broken, cost me $89. 16) Missing spare key. 17) Missing ambient temperature sensor. 18) My mechanic also found suspicious wiring, burnt ground wire under passenger footwell. * 2/9/17 Starter went out on the car. Warranty was supposed to cover towing but they only covered 50$ had to pay 75$ out pocket. Mechanic which I've used for 10 years said it would be 4 hours of work but warranty was only willing to cover 1.5 hours. Problem is it's hard to get to the starter with aftermarket headers. The car was sold to me with those headers and the salesman supposedly sold me the best warranty. Therefore it should've been covered at 100% instead I had to pay 312$ out of pocket. I tried to get my car into their service department but they had no openings until the 20th. I've also tried to give them an opportunity to fix things and all they've done is ignore my messages. I have all the receipts and text messages to prove all the above. That being said if you're ever in the market for a corvette don't buy from Buy A Vette.

Found my dream car

From Michigan, I've been following BuyAVette's website for years, but until recently, all I've done is look. Finally, what I was looking for came up, and my salesperson, Rick Engle, was great! If I am ever in the market for another Corvette, I will be calling Rick.

Elaine and Lynn. Thank you for the great review and I hope your "New" 2003 Corvette brings you many years of enjoyment.Again Thank You, Phillip Scobel

Thanks Phil Love the Corvette

Phil, I owe you a big ?THANK YOU? for the 1996 Coupe you described and I bought basically sight-unseen back in February. The car was delivered as promised on time and in great shape to my local mechanic. He called me after a close inspection to report his findings and his assessment of the car: ?The car is very clean. All systems in good working order. Had only to replace an engine bay light.? This car seems to have all the bells and whistles. My alignment guy reports this was the 1st ?96 Vette he?d seen with the LTPWS system. The remote access fob works better than the fob system on my new ?17 Subaru. Windows rise and drop with authority. Engine immediately jumps to life and passed emissions without a problem. Treads are meaty with many miles remaining. The F45 suspension system is a great option. This is my first Corvette. Again, thank you and thank Mr. Rush for me too. Very happy. Ed and Peggy

My buying experience.

I love my 1975 Corvette convertible! My experience with my salesman Phillip was so easy. The car arrived as advertised. It's perfect! During the shakedown drive the mechanic didn't like the brakes, so before delivery I got all new brakes. Now that is service. They sent me a car that was ready to be enjoyed.

Terrible experience

Had a good time picking up my vehicle, the staff was friendly. The prices are firm. The issues took place in paying off my trade-in, they did not cut the payoff until 30 DAYS later than the contract stated!! I had to pay two car payments and am still awaiting my refund 10 days after the vehicle was paid off..I was also told the tag would be sent to me and when I called to ask about it they then told me I had to go buy it myself. Such an irritating experience!! Not to mention the car has to go back to chevy for repairs the dealer should have taken care of!!
