Vehicle coded after two weeks of driving and they

Vehicle coded after two weeks of driving and they promised to fix it until they figured out it was bigger than they expected. Please Please Please stay away from these crooks. There clearing codes long enough for you to drive a few miles and away they go.

Just Don't Go Here

They sold us an "AS IS" car that after 3 days of driving threw a code Po770, that now requires a new transmission. We understand that we bought it "as is"...but this level of repair is something that we find it highly suspect that they didn't know. And they should have disclosed it. And even though it was sold "as is", ETHICALLY, they should have apologized and offered to refund money or offer to help pay for the repair or even offered to put us in a different, actually working vehicle, using what we already paid as a down payment, etc. But no one cares about ethics any more. They just care about their bottom line. Oh and making sure that when you do call to complain and answer their question "What do you want us to do?", they get extremely rude to you on the phone and tell you that you are offending their company. Mind you I didn't yell, or cuss or anything like that. I was calm...until they started threatening me to hang up if I continued to be passive agressive because I told them what I wanted. Well, they asked and I answered. I want a vehicle that works. I don't think that's being passive aggressive or too much to ask.

This dealership shams people regularly from what I’ve

This dealership shams people regularly from what I’ve seen. Unfortunately my wife and I fell victim to shady practices. They have what they call a fifty fifty warranty for 30 days. However, be skeptical I had my wife’s car checked by a dealership that we’ve used for five plus years (Suttle Motors) fantastic peoples but anyways turns out they told us the Cadillac we bought at heritage had a differential leak and recommended a reseal at a price of about a grand. Cool called Heritage Motors was told to bring it to them their Mechanic who is on their salary hmmm would check it. Their mechanic claimed there was no leak it was old dried up oil and they wiped it off everything good to go. I looked under the car and saw what look like a leak they claimed it was brake fluid from cleaning the old stuff off. Took it back to my Technician at Suttle who put it on the lift and had me walk back and guess what there’s a leak. No surprise needless to say Heritage expected me to trust their Mechanic who lied said there was no issue to fix the car or they wouldn’t cover anything. Cool wife and I handled it out one grand but at least we can afford it and the work will be done right. Stay clear of this dealership unless you have the money for repairs because there will be repairs. We had the car a day and found this issue…

Scammers and bullies

They Sold me a Car with a broken transmission, they claimed that it was a syncro problem and are unable to get them in and I contacted the owner and his response to prior mehcnaics checking the car out was that its invalid and that a brand new transmission would cost $26,000. This is a phoney buisness and they have zero customer respect. DO NOT SHOP HERE, -Still I am unable to know anything about my car and they just tell me if I take them to court they would win.

Dealer response

Mr. Henderson (Ya Boy) To start with I will say that I am the owner and you never spoke to me. Let’s get to the facts. You purchased a 2016 Mustang GT on 5/24/22 with an odometer reading of 54863. Your warranty was for 30 Days or 1000 miles whichever occurs first and 50/50. Which means you are responsible for half. You called your salesman 16 miles before your warranty expired and said you had an issue with the transmission. The manager said she would extend your warranty for the full 30 days since you had 5 days left regardless of the mileage, which was very nice of her. You proceeded to bring the vehicle to us to check it out, and we did. We drove the vehicle normally and found nothing wrong. Then we drove it hard like a racecar driver and noticed that the synchronizer in 2nd gear when downshifting was grinding. At that point the mechanic determined that the 2nd gear synchronizer was going bad because of abuse and hard shifting the vehicle. You were then told of our findings. Then your mother called and left a message for me. At that point I got involved and told the manager to help you even though the damage was caused by you and I communicated that to your mom. A day later your father called me and made threats about an attorney, and I advised him to go to his attorney if he wanted. Unfortunately, all parts are on back order and since we do not manufacture them, we could not give you a time frame. We also inquired on a new transmission since no synchronizer parts were available and to our amazement, they quoted us a price of $26000.00 and the price made that option impossible. At this point we have done all we can do for you. Maybe you should learn to be a responsible person .

My experience with this dealership was great. They seem...

My experience with this dealership was great. They seem to be smaller, "boutique" shop with no-nonsense pricing. There were minimal fees, and no upsells to an "extended" warranty or unnecessary add-ons ("undercoating"), which was great. They were quick to setup a pre-purchase inspection with a local private shop that specializes, and their assessment of the car matched that of the shop. Branden coordinated a loan with the local credit union with a very competitive rate, and even picked me up from the airport late on a Saturday after my flight was canceled. All in a positive experience for a very clean car, exactly as described.

Rodney came in on Sunday, office is normally closed, so that I could test drive a car I found online. Ended up buying different car as Rodney patiently went through inventory until the right car was located. Finance person also came in on Sunday to process paperwork. Customer service was above and beyond expectations!

STAY AWAY. Deception, Bed Bugs, shady used car dealer...

STAY AWAY. Deception, Bed Bugs, shady used car dealer tricks, Heritage Motors has it all I purchased a Porsche from them in October and was extremely disappointed in the transaction. I will save you from all the details but below are the serious issues faced in the first day. As a remote buyer in Texas, I informed them I would be driving the car 1200 miles home, and needed to rely on Toni's description of the condition of the car. -Kept my deposit: I provided my credit card to hold the car until the check arrived from my bank, they charged the deposit even after receiving the check which was overnighted.. -Bed bugs: Arriving home I found bed bugs climbing around the interior, disgusting! -Bad Alignment: Passenger side tire filled to 60psi, all the others were 35 psi, after removing the extra air in that tire, now the car pulls to the right. This is an old trick to make a car drive straight, covering up a bad alignment. -Major engine vacuum leak, Toni claimed their mechanic repaired before I left, in fact I paid more for the car because of the repair. Unfortunately I discovered a massive vacuum leak I temporarily repaired in a parking lot, I saw no evidence of any previous repairs.. -Couldn't pass TX inspection: I had to spend hundreds of dollars to get it to pass TX inspection, not sure how this thing passed VA inspection.. I have spent $2000 so far on getting this thing into driveable condition, and while I did have a mechanic inspect the vehicle prior to purchase, and we identified many of the major mechanical issues including the vacuum leak, Heritage Motors deception of the vehicle condition is extremely disappointing. I spoke with the GM Chase after arriving home and asked that they assist with making the vacuum leak right by providing the parts, he declined. Oh yea it also ran out of oil on the side of the highway. Maybe broken down, hood up at the side of the road is part of the Heritage Motors experience!
