Let me first start off by saying, trust your gut when it comes to this place. I will regret working with them for a long time to come. Their sales tactics are slimy and their staff is dishonest and shady. Customer service is nonexistent and when their staff do choose to return calls, they are anything but helpful. I recently purchased a car that was overpriced, with Joe adding in additional cost that were never agreed upon let alone discussed. We agreed on an out the door price that was not honored with the cost of warranty never being addressed, but added in regardless. I sold a brand new car in order to take on a smaller vehicle and payment so as to support my partner while she starts her nursing school career, which I was sure to relay to my salesman, Mike. I had shared my interest in the vehicle I purchased and we had discussed the price that was listed online (cargurus) and was never corrected when negotiations began. Turns out, this was an online sales price only to which they ended up tacking on thousands of dollars. To be exact, my cost was 10k OVER what was agreed to and shook on. On top of everything, they sent me home with an empty tank, a dirty car (both interior/exterior), and a car that was well over 100 miles past due for service. I expected to be educated as a buyer but instead fell victim to their predatory ways. I should have kept a closer eye on Joe and read through everything carefully before signing anything as I felt uneasy about the people, environment, and overall practices from the beginning. I lost $7000 and now owe significantly more for a vehicle worth half. I had hoped for a refund as I feel taken advantage of but have continued to be left in the dark. The only thing left to say is, Buyers beware.

My salesman was Mike my whole experience was excellent. Mike was very professional and pleasant .Great friendly people at this dealership. Very down to earth, no nonsense strictly business. I test drove my car. Joey handled the paperwork and in an hour later I was on my way home. It doesn’t get any better than that. I would definitely return to buy another vehicle from Universal Auto Sales in the future.

Worst experience EVER with Rebecca D.

After purchasing a vehicle from this dealership and all of the paperwork has been signed, she refused to offer a dime towards putting gas in the vehicle. My experience with Rebecca D. was the worst experience I ever had. She failed in having the decency of providing the most simple, basic, and common form of customer service after doing business with a client that helped put money into the establishment. I had to locate the nearest gas station in an area that I am not familiar with and spend additional money to put in the vehicle just so I can make home. I would not recommend ANYONE nor would I recommend EVER coming anywhere in close contact with Rebecca D.

I drove off the lot quite happy with my 2014 Subaru...

I drove off the lot quite happy with my 2014 Subaru Forrester and was told the low tire sensor needed to reset and should go off in 10 minutes. It did not go off, and I found their service team had inflated all four 35 psi tires to 60 psi, which could have led to a tire blowout, endangering myself and my 12 yr old daughter. I let that go, but had severely damaged trust after a decent first impression. Then, 2.5 weeks after I bought my car, it had a transmission valve body failure (& I found out it also had the wrong size battery installed). It took almost another 2.5 weeks to get them to agree to assist in repairs as a gesture of food faith, but their offer was an insult and might cover the low end cost for the valve body part. After reading several other reviews here and elsewhere, it is clear this may not be an isolated incident. I would proceed with caution and NOT sign an “as is” note with any purchase from them.

These guys were amazing from start to finish! We did almost everything over the phone before entering the dealership... we were only there about 1 hour to complete all paperwork! Sam is a great guy & handled everything with a sense of urgency. Everyone is very laid back & helpful... this car dealership is like no other! They are the standard for customer service - above & beyond! Thank you guys 😁

This Is THE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFEEE!! I purchased a 2005 Yukon danali here at first I went to finance and not even 20 minutes later after pulling out of the lot I was on my way to return the vehicle I put 2,500 down payment on a 238,000 mile vehicle which is insane and I wanted my money back and the basically told me no I needed to wait 24 hours to come back so that I couldn’t be refunded by law. So I didn’t want to deal with them anymore so I purchased the vehicle for 5,200!! I left took the vehicle went home a week later I recieved in the mail a copy of the financing paperwork title instead of the real title I was pissed! It wasn’t signed by the dealer it was wrong and I unknowingly took it too the dmv and they said something was wrong. So I went back there and they still refused to give me the correct paperwork after I bought that vehicle and I kept coming back demanding something to be done it was 3 dmv trips and 6 visits and 3 months after my purchase that I decided to call the police and the police DEMANDED the correct paperwork!!! And then told the police to GET OUT!! Very very very BAD PLaCE

Stay from Universal Auto - I bought a Vehicle from them and four days later and broke down and we’re not start they said I was xxxx out of luck because I did not buy the extended warranty terrible experience
