Refused to sell me a car after receiving a deposit when asked to review a form listed on the contract and required by New Jersey law. Refused payment in full upon receipt of signed purchase contract and treasurer's check. Has not returned deposit or cost of inspection.

Pure junk from a straight up liar.
Funny how negative reviews do not get posted. Bought a car here, was surprised how bad this car is. Found out it had been sold through multiple car dealerships before ending up at ringoes motors. No one else wanted to sell this pile of crap. Severe rot, bad suspension, trans issues. Sold as a clean reliable two owner car, not true.

Almost a perfect deal…
I live in Maine and was looking for a particular model Mercedes. They had the car I wanted, and I took a gamble and purchased it sight unseen from New Jersey. All in all, I am pleased with it. They represented it honestly, shipped it promptly and I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Just one thing stopped this from being a perfect transaction. They told me there was a problem with a warning sensor and that they were waiting for the part to come in. Rather than delay delivery, we agreed that they would give me $100 (which their mechanic quoted), send me the part when it arrived, and I’d have it installed here by my mechanic. Here’s where the problem came - they sent the wrong part (front rather than rear sensor) and I wound up paying far more than $100 to have the rear bumper removed for the installation only to discover it was the wrong part and didn’t work. And the connecting cable was corroded and should be replaced - which I did). So - after spending more than $300.00 the warning lights still did not work. And the icing on the cake, was that Ben and Mike wouldn’t agree to exchange the part or reimburse me for what I already spent. I ultimately got the correct sensors and cable, had them installed and everything is working fine now. My total cost, for what should have been their expense, came to almost $750.00 - which I must admit leaves a very sour taste in my mouth. Furthermore, they only supplied one key, and buying a Mercedes key is a $400-500 proposition. So, all told, I got a very nice car at a decent price - only spoiled by the $1100.00 I had to shell out. I guess I’d deal with them again, but I’d be a lot sharper in the negotiations.

Ben and frank were great they helped me with a broken down flat tire... I offered them money and they didn’t want it.. I was stressed and they made me laugh... what a nice place I will buy a car there in the future! Thank you guys!

Honest Pros
If you want to buy a used car, you can't do better than Mike and Ben at Ringoes Motor Cars. The cars are priced right (mine was between trade in to retail). You can ask them any question and they answer honestly with no double talk. They are not your typical used car salesmen.

Mike and Ben were not like other used car dealers. They really go out of their way help you with one on one service. Total honesty and best price to boot. You can't go wrong with these guys. Highly recommend.
