Was interested in purchasing a vehicle listed at East Coast Auto that had damage to left side. Made a counter offer from listed price using the email template on Cars.com. Dealers response was to call, standard canned answer. Too lazy to answer email with a yea or nay to start conversation. Based on the reviews Cars.com has received for East Coast Autos, I should have know better.

Agree with the other reviews.

Agree with the other reviews. Stop polluting the site with wrecked vehicles and saying they are not wrecked or have clear title when they clearly do not. False advertisement.

This place is horrible.

This place is horrible. My father, who passed away 10/24/23, made a deal with George to purchase a vehicle. He had been sending him money. When he passed I was told by the lady that answered the phone that he had paid all but $600. The total price was $2195. So my math says he paid $1595. After numerous phone calls and a bad review George finally called me. We agreed that he would refund me the monies that my father paid for the car once it was sold. I agreed to that and removed the review. On 1/10/24 I called him to change my address and he informed that the vehicle just sold and he had mailed me a check the day before. The check was only for $1100 which he said was the price they sold the vehicle for. That was not our agreement but 3 weeks later still no check!! I do have a forward in the post office and I’m receiving mail from a week ago. I also called George last week and he must have thought he put me on hold and was talking about me to someone. Called me the “crazy lady”. This guy is a joke!!! You are stealing a dead persons money, lied about mailing the check and then called me crazy!! That’s a great business to deal with. I just want my fathers money so we can close his estate and let him rest in peace! I would walk before I would ever buy from this jerk!!

Posts wrecked cars and shoppers are not able to filter

Posts wrecked cars and shoppers are not able to filter properly, as they have their cars marked “clear title” when they clearly are not. Very annoying and false information. Should be removed from this site.

Stop polluting the car sites with junky wrecked cars.

Stop polluting the car sites with junky wrecked cars. A total nuisance to those looking for a good affordable car via auto sale sites. I specifically selected to filter vehicles with no history of accidents and still getting an abundance of your junky totaled cars!!

I contacted them about a car and no one ever got back to me. Everything they advertise looks like it's been hit by a dump truck. Then they want you to buy parts from them. And then they want you to hire them to install parts and paint. No one wants to answer the phone. Might have to move. Give someone your money that's not a scammer.
