I purchased a 2008 f150 from Dave. One problem, I got it fixed six months later I stopped by the shop to say how happy I was with the truck. At that Dave told me I should have brought it to him, he would have fixed it for me

LEMON

I bought a car 3 weeks ago , one time owner 125,000 miles. Started hesitating, check engine light came on and started flashing. When I checked the oil there was none in it. I hooked it up to the code reader. It is misfiring on two cylinders and it appears to have a blown head gasket. I called the owner and he told me that when I bought the car that all it needed to be was road worthy. He told me to take it to a mechanic and have it looked at. He offered no help or restitution ! He was very rude and didn't accept responsibility for anything. I would not recommend him to ANYONE!!!!He said well sorry but its over 100,00 miles so the lemon law doesn't apply here. He saw two girls buying a car and didn't care if it was safe, he just wanted money!

Honest and Trustworthy

Not your normal car salesman. Is honest and upfront. Put 2 new wheels on AFTER I had bought the car. Will come back again when looking for another used car.

Trustworthy and Reliable

I've been going to Riggs Auto for 9 years now. Dave and John are amazing guys. We bought a truck there too. They refer to my car by the name I gave her not the model, I love it! I won't go anywhere else!!

Buying a used car at Riggs Auto

Shopping for a car on line , I found the car I was looking for at Riggs Auto . It was older than I wanted , but the price was right . I took a long test drive , everything seemed good . I got a nice trade-in and more on my 15 year old car . Dave Riggs was easy to deal with . Taking the car to my mechanic it checked out to be a reliable car . I have since found other cars , same model , less features , a lot more money . Thanks Dave !

very disappointed

We purchased a 2008 Chevy Cobalt from Riggs Auto in Hamlin NY. We took delivery and found out within hours that the driver side window didn?t work. We took it to our local mechanic. He said the window would need $400 of repair to get it up and down. While the car was there, the mechanic put the car on the lift. The rear coil springs were broken. The mechanic said THIS CAR SHOULD NOT HAVE PASSED NEW YORK STATE INSPECTION! He also discovered a leaky transmission line. We called Riggs auto. He said that they would fix the car. We elected not to do that. We assumed that the car was in good working order because it passed the NYS inspection. I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because we got a good price on the car. Otherwise, we were very dissatisfied.

We are dissapointed that we did not satisfy Lynn. We do do our inspections in house and are very specific on what we look for in each and every car. We are also sorry we were not given the chance to satisfy any issues she felt she had with the car. We are a service facility as well as a dealership and we never say no when it comes to things like this..

Fair and Honest....

I bought a Toyota Rav4 from Riggs Auto back in September of 2011. The truck was just as pictured and described and has not given me any trouble since it was purchased over four years ago. It's still running great....Wish you weren't so far away, but even with the distance considered I would definitely buy again.
