Great service reasonable price

Does good work. I have brought my car to them to fix a issue with check engine light. They fixed the issue the same day. Always like doing business with a small business over a large corporation.

Not my kind of idea for a professional place!

How this place could get more than one star from anybody is a complete mystery to me. Off the top, it is a dingy, cruddy place, not clean or well kept at all. First impression: fail.Next, my husband, because our business is very near and the location is therefor convenient, had a habit of using them for oil changes, and also various repairs. It is unfortunately true that I often only find out about repairs AFTER they are done, but I always price check work even if it is basically too late. My husband is too busy to shop around. My finding is that repairs and oil change pricing is multiplied by a factor of two at Bud's.The latest examples: I called for a synthetic oil change quote yesterday, and was told for my car it would be 100 bucks. I called three other places, where the same was quoted between 57 and 60 bucks. I also called for a quote on replacing my four wheel suspension struts yesterday, and the first question I heard from "Bud" was "what for?" What for....???? well, let's see... maybe my car needs them at 110,000 miles on the same parts? I do not take lightly to unfriendly, gruff interactions and uncalled-for questions of my needs. The price he gave me was an estimate of about 1000 bucks. Nice price! The competition in Saint Charles will do the work for half that at $ 552.00 parts and labor! Bud's did not even bother to tell me the details contained in that hefty quote, in order to at least let me see what they included in it. The very friendly competition went over every aspect of this quote with me, and in a professional, courteous, manner. My husband bought 4 new tires from Bud's some months back, and he can't even get them rotated for free, as he just paid over 100 bucks for that service, which at other locations is usually included for free, for as long as the warranty goes on the tires. So, if you like unfriendly service, dirty location and shoddy, overpriced service, that would be at Budd's. If you doubt what I state, I'll personally take you there and explain to you what I mean! No problem with that at all.
