The worst dealership experience I've ever had
I went to this dealership looking to buy a car. About 3 minutes into my visit, I knew this was not the place I was going to buy from. Here's a run down: I found out our sales rep's name through his business card, he did not introduce himself; luckily, I had looked at their inventory online because Phil did not ask any questions as to what kind of car or what my preferences were; when he did come back with the keys for the vehicle I said I wanted to see, he asked "red or silver?". When I asked which one had lower mileage or which one was a newer year, he said "wow, people your age don't usually care about those things." Phil then proceeded to ask me my age to determine that he had correctly profiled me. Yes I am a 22 year old female but that does not mean I am only going to care that my car is pretty and shiny. Next, we went out to see the car and he carelessly swung the door open, scuffing the car next to it, and popped the hood. He then said "it's freshly detailed, nice and clean and shiny," to my boyfriend, not myself, when it was made clear that I was the one shopping for a car. He did not give any specs or anything about the engine other than it looked clean. Then we went inside to talk about financing and such and he repeatedly quoted me for 72+ month, 5-6% rates when I have already been approved for 48mo/2% which I told him; but he disregarded this and tried to sell me a higher financing rate/package. He then asked to run my credit so he could see that I would qualify and I specifically asked before signing the paper (that stated they could check my credit) if it would be a hard inquiry. Phil assured me that it would be a soft inquiry unless I decided to go with them and actually finance. Only then did I sign. (It turned out to be a hard inquiry, dropping my credit significantly). He came back 30 minutes later and said he could "basically" give me what I'm looking for. When I pushed to know what "basically" meant, he said 60 months at 5-6%. Since this was not what I was looking for, we politely said thank you and that we were going to keep looking around and Phil did not stand up to let us out or walk us out at all. When we were half way out the door, he yelled to us asking if he could follow up. We said yes to be polite and left. I understand losing a sale is a defeat but sitting and moping is not the correct response when we are not even out of the building. Once in the car, both Phil and the General Manager, Scot Seim approached our car to try and save the terrible sale. I told Scot thank you but there was nothing else we were looking for from them and that we were going to keep looking. Phil being there as well did not give any opportunity for me to feel comfortable giving feedback on his poor performance. I have contacted Phil by email to let him know that I was severely dissatisfied with the experience and he has not reached out in any genuine way to try to mend the situation. I have only received canned emails asking about preferences we had already talked about and about making an appointment to come (as in for the first time) and talk about all of the options they have. Their online inventory is also misleading. When I looked, it said there was a white ford focus with a different trim than any of the focuses they had available and the only one with matching interior to the pictures online was silver and not white. NexCar severely dropped the ball from the very beginning to the very end and I will not be returning. I would not recommend them to anyone. Rather, I am spreading the word about my experience. Buyer beware. Note: The Phil Gemmer as pictured on this website (who's business card I got from the desk we were at) is not the person we were (not)helped by. I do not mean to wrongfully smear Phil's name if he is not the person who helped us. Unfortunately, as I stated, the sales rep never told us his name so I am relying on the business card on the desk. The sales rep was much younger than the Phil Gemmer pictured on this website.

DJ is the Man!
DJ was fair, fast and fun to deal with. You can tell he's been in the car sales business for 20+ years. He even stopped me as I was getting ready to drive off the lot in my new car and said "hold up, I think we can get you a better interest rate, can you wait a minute since I may need you to re-sign a few forms." A couple of minutes later, he had me sign a few forms and my monthly payment dropped $15! Who does that? DJ at Nexcar, that's who...thanks DJ!
