Great dealership!

Our family has bought five cars from Kevin, and we would rather not go anywhere else! Kevin is honest and his no-pressure attitude is a winner with my husband. Our first trip there was to look at a van; it was not exactly what we needed. He listened to what we said and called about a week later saying he had a vehicle he thought we would like, but no pressure to buy it. We did though, since it was just what we wanted. :-) He is quite knowledgeable and very pleasant to deal with.

Thank you Kathy. I've been a car dealer for 21 years, but prior to that, I spent a fair amount of time "on the other side of the desk" as a customer. I've experienced the kind of sales pressure that is not only uncomfortable, but unproductive. One reason I became a dealer was because I knew there was a better way. Worth the 2+hour drive for good buying experience

After an extensive search I found the car I was looking for at a reasonable price at Knapps Auto Sales. Although they are located over 2 hours away, after Kevin returned my call within 10 minutes of my request on a Sunday for information on the car (did not expect any response until Monday), he answered all my questions. We drove up Monday to see the car, it looked and drove fine. Just what I was looking for, even though I had another car almost identical to this one only one year newer I was going to look at, I decided to purchase this one because as I said before it looked and drove fine, and Kevin's no pressure, honest attitude. I had my financing already in place, and told Kevin I would like to pickup the car Wednesday, and he said it was no problem. On Wednesday we picked up the car NO Problems. Knapp Auto Sales is a small car dealership that you can trust, with honesty and integrity. The next time I am looking for a used car, I'll look at Knapp Auto Sales again.

Confused

I tried to communicate on-line with this dealership about an auto they had on the web-site, however, I received no response what-so-ever. Not very professional if you ask me!!

My apologies, Wayne. I replied to your email six business days after receiving it. Knapp Auto Sales has been a one-man operation since 1998. The advantage has been lower overhead and therefore more competitive prices. The disadvantage is that email is lower on the priority list than customers who visit, customers who call, customers who text, and cars that need my attention. When things get busy, casual email inquiries can have trouble rising to the top of the to-do list. Thanks for the reminder. I'll try harder to answer email more promptly. Kevin Knapp

Worth the 9 Hour Drive

I am Jeff N. from Fowler,Il. I saw the perfect car for my daughter online that Kevin Knapp from Knapp Auto Sales had listed. I live about 460 miles away from Mansfield,Ohio and wasn't real sure I wanted to travel that far to buy this car but after Kevin gave me price I was looking for and gave me lots of details about this car. I decided it to come look at it. We arrived and car was just as Kevin stated maybe even a little better!! I felt this was the car so I purchased the 2009 Malibu. Kevin made this sale to me because of these things that took place--his honesty, car itself, price, details provided such as carfax,no pressure sales and answering ALL questions I had about car and his business. This is the first car I've bought off the showroom floor as with all his cars and it was nice to have a clean car to test drive. All his vehicles are in a neat order and with that in mind I believe it says something about Kevin of how he runs a very straight trustworthy business!! Knapp Auto Sales will be in my favorites column and when I buy another vehicle he will be the first place I check!!! It is worth the nine hour drive!! Thanks again, Jeff

Honest, Integrity, No Pressure

My Name is Ron W. from Richwood OH. I just purchased a 2006 Silverado from Kevin Knapp. I looked at trucks on line and at other dealers for more than 2 months searching for a quality truck at lowest cost possible. I can tell you as an ex-mechanic, that there are not a lot of quality trucks at low cost out there. I got a big box dealer level truck at a small dealer price. Definitely more than I expected. Carfax, no pressure, details of all he knew about the truck. With an indoor facility I was able to look over the truck in detail, even checking out the underside of the truck with a creeper. I must admit I was hesitant to stop because Knapp is a small dealer, however I'm certainly glad I did. Throw away the cliche that you can't find a small car dealership that you can trust. I found a dealer with honesty, integrity and pride in his reputation. When the time comes for another car or truck, I'll look at Knapp Auto Sales again.
