My husband and I purchased a vehicle in October 2023.

My husband and I purchased a vehicle in October 2023. The car has been a total disaster and lemon. it's been in the shop more times than I can count. The sales staff are wonderful. The managing staff are the worst! My car is at another dealership now for service. Coastal doesn't even have enough decency to provide us a loaner vehicle anymore. We've been sent to Thrifty, a very low end car rental company that does not accept our insurance provider. To rent from them we would have to purchase their insurance that creates a DAILY expense. I'm now relying on Lyft and Uber to go to work, run errands, and get through daily life. Managing staff will not answer calls, text messages, or emails. Calling the dealership does NO good because we are always told the managers are not there and we never get called back. We have even gone there to find a manager is there when we were told they were not. So, we are paying for car we bought, but I'm relying on Uber and Lyft for daily transportation. The least they could do is provide a loaner car to offset the cost expenses from the warranty deductibles and daily ride sharing expenses! it's heartbreaking what we've been through and trading is not an option because there is not enough equity in the car yet! We have been completely taken for a ride, abandoned, and left completely alone to advocate for our consumer rights! We have never been treated so badly by MANAGERS of a car dealership!

I can’t express my gratitude enough to the family of

I can’t express my gratitude enough to the family of individuals at Coastal Hyundai for their continuing support. I recently required an honest opinion as to the state of my car which was on the verge of costing me thousands of dollars to repair. All within one afternoon, Amanda Trainer tracked down the exact money and effort it would take to fix the car and explained it all to me; John Lyons walked me through the process of choosing a car buying option from a set of alternatives, helped me choose a car with the features and price most fitting for me, made sure I had a warranty and maintenance contract; Brad Swindel took care of the tag, insurance, basically everything required so all I had to do was get in my newly purchased car and drive away. Amanda Trainer has been my go-to agent for years and she has always provided me with excellent service. This is the second car I’ve bought from John Lyons and if later I find the desire for another car, I’ll look up John Lyons. Brad Swindel made sure I understood all the details of the paperwork and encouraged me to contact him if I had any developing needs. Thank you to the Coastal Hyundai family

Be cautious about purchasing used vehicles here.

Be cautious about purchasing used vehicles here. The sales department is fantastic and always very helpful. But, the general manager (Coy) has not honored promises to me. Here is the situation. I basically got sold a lemon and can't get a loaner car. My car has been returned to this dealership 3 times for repair for mechanical issues all covered by my warranty. I purchased a beautiful blue Ford Mustang convertible from them. I purchased a warranty and the gap insurance. Within days, the car began having mechanical issues. If the car sat for a long period of time like a standard 8 hour work day, it would crank. If I stopped to pump gas or buy groceries, my car would not crank. Many times it had to be jumped off by roadside. However, the battery or the fuel level were never the problem. I returned the car at least 3 times for repair and once it was sent to a local Ford dealer for repair. When we picked the car up for the final time, it continued to malfunction. Then, I got rear-ended the day before I was supposed to return the car for the another repair. When the collision work was was done, I was supposed to return my car for the additional mechanical repair and get a loaner car. I was later told by the GM Coy that my car would have to be sent to a different Ford dealership for repair and he denied me a loaner car. I was told I would have to go through my warranty (after diagnostics) that I would have to rent a car for $35 per day, meaning I would have to pay for rental upfront and then be reimbursed up to $35 per day. Their other dealership in Cocoa gave me a loaner car for about a day, but then the GM Coy overrode Cocoa and had me return the loaner car, leaving me stuck with my mechanically unreliable car. This has cost me money at work in terms of leave (late arrivals or early departures). And, it is making me look very bad as employee because it is giving the impression that I, as an individual am unreliable (rather than understanding it is my car that is unreliable. I no longer have any any accrued leave time left, so I am losing money as we speak. Again, I do not fault the sales staff because they have gone out of their way to be helpful at times. The worst part, is I am still paying for a car the I cannot consistently drive. It has been in the shop for repair more times than I have driven it. It is just sitting in my driveway taking up space right now, all the while I am still making payments. i feel like the most fair thing to do would be for Coastal Hyundai to at least offer me a loaner vehicle until mine is repaired or until it is replaced. The salesman and service department have been understanding. It is only the GM Coy that has made this much harder on me than it needed to be and allowed this to affect my salary and harm my professional reputation for all the times I was late to work due to car issues or all the times I had to leave early to return my car to the service department. Be very cautious when dealing with GM Coy because he has certainly not kept his word to me. He will not even reply to my text messages or phone calls as we speak evening though I've basically begged him on my knees to just at least give me a loaner car so I can commute safely to and from work until the mechanical issues are fully repaired. I am in tears constantly because this is causing a great disruption to my job, my professional, reputation, and to my and husband and myself's personal finances. Again, I am not asking for anything other than a loaner car. GIven that Coastal Hyundai of Melbourne sold me the vehicle, the very least that GM Coy could do is give me a loaner or assistance with rental because they sold me the car.

We just made a purchase on January 1 2024 best way to start the new year. From the first contact with Lauren the experience was the best ever and I really don't like buying a car. The process was easy and pleasant. I would have no problem recommending Lauren to buy a car from.

Diego and John helped me purchase my vehicle.

Diego and John helped me purchase my vehicle. I test drove the vehicle two days ago and notified them today that I was ready to purchase. I arrived at the dealership and was in and out in 35 minutes. This was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend Diego and John to anyone looking for exceptional customer service with no pressure.
