Horrible service didn't tell us things didn't work until we brought a check after he knew... Then take it home and can't even play a CD after paying over $21,000 for this vehicle.

Was shopping for a used Explorer Sport Trac and this dealership had one on the lot. It was quite a drive from my home right outside of Columbus, OH... but it was worth it. The quality of the vehicle, condition, everything was better than anything I expected, especially for a vehicle of its age (2005). Father/Son family business, the son.. Don... was absolutely outstanding to deal with... and really redefines in a GREAT POSITIVE WAY what the car buying process should be. I've bought and sold several vehicles in my life... both private party and through dealerships.... and I've never had a more pleasant experience than what I did dealing with Don. I look forward to dealing with him again on my next vehicle purchase. I recommend EVERYBODY to make Don your first choice at Irvin Auto Sales when shopping for a quality used car.

Our buying experience with Irvin Auto Sales was excellent. We had been looking for a particular vehicle for almost a month and came across one at Irvin's on a Saturday about 10 a.m. I e-mailed and then called them for more details on the vehicle and spoke with Don. Don was very detailed in answering my questions and very knowledgeable about the vehicle. He even went outside and checked an item on the vehicle while we were on the phone. After deciding to make the 2-1/2 drive to look at the vehicle, I called Don back and told him we would like to come down. He said he would hold the vehicle for us and wait for us to get there. We arrived at about 1:45 p.m.--just before their closing time of 2 p.m. on Saturday. Don showed us the features of the vehicle and went with us on a test drive to guide us around since we were not familiar with the area. Don was very pleasant and personable, and we felt very comfortable working with him. There were no high pressure tactics of any kind, just genuine interest in us as customers. After our test drive we talked price and Don gave us time to discuss it. The vehicle was just what we were looking for, in great condition, we liked the price, and they gave us a good price for our trade-in, so decided to make the purchase. This was AFTER their 2 p.m. closing time, and Don then completed all the paperwork for the sale which we finished up about 3:30. All that time there was no irritation or concern about the time. Don's attention to detail not just with the vehicle, but also with all the paperwork was tremendous. He explained everything and answered any questions we had--and even offered additional information about the vehicle while doing the paperwork. He even reprinted several forms when my name was spelled incorrectly (from our trade-in vehicle title, not his spelling error). This was a very pleasant change from the experience I had had a few weeks earlier purchasing another used vehicle from a large car dealer. No fun at all! Irvin's has a limited number of vehicles on their small lot--but from what we saw, they were all well-maintained, clean vehicles in great shape, and at fair prices! If Irvin's has a vehicle you are looking for, based on our experience, we would highly recommend doing business with them. Don and his dad are great people to work with.

We are very happy with all aspects of our experience with this dealer. There was no typical car salesman pressure at all. They seem to be very particular about what cars they carry on their lot. They present you with all the facts about the car and let them speak for themselves. The owner was very knowledgeable and friendly. When we are in the market for a used car, they will be the first place we shop from now on!!!
