Tremont Car Connection

Today I bought my fifth car from Tremont Car connections. Ashlynn and Lucas were very helpful in answering all my questions and getting the information that I wanted on cars that I was looking at. The 30 day warranty that comes with the car is great when buying a used car. And the option to extend the warranty. (no pressure). I would recommend this business for anyone looking for a used car and I’m sure I will be using them again when myself or the kids are looking for a car . THANKS!

Needed a new vehicle and looked around for dealerships with descent cars in my price range, and Tremont Car Connections is one heck of a place! It is more of a small-town dealership and may not have the largest quantity of vehicles to select from but the quality of the vehicles that they do have, and their service is outstanding. Highly Recommended.

I DO NOT recommend buying a car from this place. Sadly after only 8 months my 2012 Prius needs a new motor. I called Tremont Car Connection and explained the situation but they were not willing to do much for me. I realize I bought a used car with a small warranty but this is not a minor problem. After only 3 moths the motor started running rough. Had a tune-up and no change. Replaced the ERG valve and no change. Finally took the car in for a deep inspection and found coolant leaking into the cylinders. This is a known issue for this version of Prius. I found many articles online stating this. Tremont Car Connection claim to be unaware of these version 3 Prius issues but find that hard to believe given all the info out there and given this is their line of business. This place prides themselves in selling used Prius and even brag that their own family drive them. Cannot help but feel I have lied to and screwed over. It will cost almost 3/4 what I paid for this car to get it back on the road and their response is "that's just how it goes" and "I don't have a crystal ball". Again, I DO NOT recommend this as a place of integrity and quality!

I was shopping for a certain make and model car for a few months. Could not find what I was looking for. I drove 2.5 hours to the Tremont Car Connection based on the description the owner Dave gave me of the car I was looking for. And it was exactly as he described, and I purchased. I can’t tell you how happy I was to buy from Tremont Car Connection compared to a new car dealer. I will check Dave and his son lot for cars first in the future before I check anywhere else.

Pleasant experience for car buying. No high pressure sales just conversation. Allowed us to view vehicles without being over our shoulder. Had a variety of choices. Friendly environment.

I have purchased cars for over 50 years. I know when a deal is truly a deal. I feel like I paid a fair price. The vehicle runs great. I could not be happier. FYI. tried to rate all excellent but could not get the stars to light up.

I came in knowing what I was looking for, and what I wanted to pay. I wasn't allowing too much flexibility in my spending. They quickly negotiated a price with me. I arrived around 12:30, and after driving back to Peoria to sign at the bank, and then back to Tremont the entire process was done by 2:30. I love my Prius, and I love that I was able to buy it without a hassle.

I found a car I wanted and applied for financing through the link on their site. I did not get any response back. Then I called and talked with a salesperson named Brock, and he said that their online financing Does Not Work, and that I'm on my own for finding a loan. Found that same car at another dealership that had no problems getting me a few financing offers for me to choose from.
