Finding a 10 passenger van to transport kids for our after school program was a daunting experience. We didn't realize there were so many regulations. I searched on the web for used 10 passenger vans and all it gave me were 15 passenger vans which meant I would have to get it upfited. I asked ChatGpt to help me and they led me to Hengehold. They had exactly what we were looking for and a good price. Steve was superful helpful. What I loved about this experience is that there was no sales push and no need to negotiate. I thought we would be in the showroom for hours and we had a pleasant experience. The sale was fast and easy. I highly recommend them especially for non profits looking for a van to transport children.

Rented a truck while shopping for a replacement to the most heavily-used truck in our fleet. Roger was very accommodating with some tight scheduling requirements and the rental unit was perfect for our needs. As a woman it can be very intimating to go thru the process of buying a vehicle. I did my homework and found Hengehold Motor Co online. I was not surprised after going to their website www.htrucks.com that when I arrived on the lot that no one ran after me like normal dealer salespersons. They put on their website and around the lot, "NO COMMISSIONED SALESPERSON" WOW, that is amazing. I went into the sales office and was quickly greeted with a smile and was asked what I was looking for and given a price list and explained in detail how to read it. All the vehicles were unlocked so I was able to see everything there was to see. I was in search for a Cargo Van and found it at Hengehold. After looking at all their cargo vans I made a decision. I came back and was given an official quote based on my city. I liked 3 vans and took each one for a test drive and took it on the freeway and around the neighborhood. I decided on 1 and asked if I could take it home. They needed to be sure it was smogged and fully inspected and I was given the green light. Within 20 minutes I had signed all the docs and my vehicle was prepped to go and spare keys included. I am one happy camper. What a painless experience I had. Very professional and good to their reputation. Over 65 years its no wonder. I would strongly recommend if you are in search of a used commercial vehicle - yet feels like a new vehicle. My contractor son and I have been looking for a used utility truck for over six weeks because his was totaled by another driver that didn't look before turning into traffic. We started with about 12 resellers on the Internet, probably reviewed about 50 trucks in detail, talked to five resellers about a deal, sent four trucks into branded dealerships for maintenance checkups, and discovered (not surprisingly), that almost everybody lies?either through sins of omission or commission. Of the last three trucks we thought to buy at other used truck resellers, one would have cost $7200 in engine repairs, another $4000, and the third had grown younger by 2505 miles over the last five years! (I was getting tired and dispirited after 6 weeks of this...) Hengehold Trucks in Palo Alto was the only reseller we looked at that had quality trucks and told the truth about everything! When they didn't have what we were looking for three weeks ago, they took down our specs and emailed us a week ago with a truck that had just come in. We rushed up there, and took it to the local Ford dealer for a checkup before they even had a chance to finish their checklist on it. They had already added four new tires, fixed many of the (minor) things that needed fixing, changed the fluids and filters, and touched up the body paint inside and out. The Ford service manager not only said the truck was in great condition, he also said Hengehold was a quality outfit that only sold the best stuff. Since we had been thoroughly market-educated by that time, we bought that truck on the spot! Hengehold made us wait a day so they could finish their checklist and fix a couple more things we didn't even know about! (It's about reputation and smart business discipline for them...) This family business is fabulous, and a pleasure to deal with! Do your homework, take all (used) candidate vehicles to branded dealerships for checkups before negotiating, start looking at the Hengehold lot, and if they don't have what you want, give them your specs and keep looking. Maybe you will get lucky! (No, I am not related, and had never met them before?just pleasantly and thoroughly surprised.)
