Great overall customer service experience. I feel comfortable with their service recommendations and do not feel they sell you services and products you... do not need.
Do not buy a used car from this dealership. I purchased a 2008 Volvo XC70 here and the battery died 3 weeks later. When I called and spoke to the salesperson... and the manager, I was told that the battery was not covered and I was on my own. Why this is particularly troubling? --- This dealership sold my car new to the original owner and it had been maintained by their service department the entire time. Not a way to build customer loyalty. I recommend against this dealership.
rob waterman has taken care of us for each lease for 3 leases- he always remembers us , answeres questions he knows and finds out answers to the one's... he does not
Thank you for the review! We pride ourselves on our customers' satisfaction, thank you for your loyalty and patronage over the years.
I was looking for a 2018 Volvo S90 Inscription. They had a beautiful car available and gave me an amazing price. Also they did not low ball me on my trade.... We negotiated and they gave me a fair offer. The buying process was simple and stress free. The finance department was knowledgeable and professional. I drove all the way from Phoenix to purchase the car and I would do it all over again. Ask for Mike he is a great salesman.
Our recent purchase of a pre-owned vehicle at Volvo Cars Tucson was completely stress-free and a very positive experience. Jacob Ray could not have been... more professional. His approach was friendly, courteous and respectful. We were very impressed with him and the dealership.
My repair contact, max, was one of the most helpful i have experienced in the service—customer interface. My car (2007 FIT) certainly didn’t look great... nor were the functioning systems healthy. Two experiences here in Green Vally I have felt were a rip off. Yet, based on my request to “check tires and equipment” set me up to expect a quick review and a go head to go north. I was amazed in my acceptance to the diagnosis an repair needs of the Fit. I had dealt with you folks before and was very confident I would get an honest assessment and very high quality service job. Max identified 13 significant service needs. The bootom line was costly for a retiree but I never hesitated or worried about road problems. I took off to flag and the next day to Gallup moving like my porch-like fit. You have combined all the elements of a great company- honesty, speed and a fair price.
Volvo has since repurchased the 2007 Honda CR-V from us at the full price we paid. Nice to see a dealer do the right thing. Thank you.
BUYER BEWARE — BEFORE YOU BUY A USED CAR FROM VOLVO OF TUCSON, GET THE CAR CHECKED OUT BY AN INDEPENDENT SHOP THAT YOU CAN TRUST. Don’t assume that buying... a car from a dealership is any guarantee of a reliable used car. We had the misfortune of purchasing a used Honda CR-V from Volvo of Tucson. Due to a recent accident, we had to replace my wife’s vehicle and settled on a Honda CR-V. We found one at Volvo of Tucson, my wife drove it, and we bought it. A couple of days later, I drove the car on an errand in an area with rough roads and noticed excessive noises coming from the suspension. After two or three weeks, Volvo called to say they needed the car in order to get an emissions test so it could be licensed ~ something that should have been taken care of before the car left the lot. When they came and got the car, we told them about the suspension. Once they brought it back, we were informed the mechanic had checked it over, and it was “just an old car.” We decided to get a second opinion, and took it to an independent Honda shop. Their estimate to rectify problems they saw, just from a visual inspection, was around $2000. We took it back to Volvo with the estimate; they looked at it, and decided nothing was wrong with it, because it was a used car. Funny that when you buy a Honda with 130K miles on it, they tell you the car is just getting broken in, but when you have problems, they tell you it’s just an old car. The idea that you buy from a dealership because you put more trust in their vehicles, due to their “thorough” pre-sale inspection, is crap. So here we are with a car we just spent $9000 on, and need to spend another $2000 to make it road-ready, and we sincerely thank Volvo of Tucson for that. Be forewarned: Their assurances mean nothing. Good luck!
Our customers' satisfaction is our top priority. All of our vehicles undergo an inspection to ensure they are safe and roadworthy; pre-owned vehicles ...will potentially have some wear respective to the vehicle age. To ensure our customers' satisfaction, Volvo Cars Tucson purchased the Honda CR-V back from the customer at the full price paid.
The salesman and the finance guy were very personable as well as having all the expertise to answer our questions. We appreciated the salesman because... we did not feel pressured. He acted as if the product could sell itself, which indeed it did.
