We are a family owned dealership since 2004. Our owner is a Lt. with the Lake County Sheriff Office, so everything we do
is squeaky clean. We do not buy wrecked vehicles or reconditioned title vehicles. Every vehicle is supported by CARFAX. A full CARFAX report on all our vehicles can be seen on our website. We detail each vehicle inside and out thoroughly. We remove the entire interior, clean door jams, floors, belts, etc. and pressure wash carpet and seats. We finish up the outside and the engine for the cleanest used vehicle period. If you want a mechanically sound and clean vehicle, we have done the work to make it so.

I didn’t get any further with the process due to the fact that the vehicle had -check engine light on -Vehicle was primarily out of oil and not ready... to be driven. The vehicle seemed like a great purchase, but as we kept looking, we kept hearing more issues and Patrick(sales guy) was trying to ignore the fact that vehicle was not ready.
Michael, I am highly suspicious of your name and review. I have researched all Michael's for 2019 and you do not match any of them. If you want to ...provide a poor review please tell me who you are so I can properly respond. Also, why not try and call me so that I can address any concern. I can tell you I don't ignore anyone or anything. If you saw a vehicle on my lot or test drove a vehicle that you say was not ready yet, then you should keep your review to self until any vehicle of ours is ready for sale. We service them and make sure they are ready when in fact they are ready. If anyone, including you, look at or try and buy something before it is ready then the 1 out of 5 star review you give us should be placed solely on you. Want to discuss this further please call me. Spent more than a week looking for a quality used vehicle with low miles for under $10,000. Found exactly what I was looking for at J & M. Patrick responded... to my inquiry hours before they opened and we drove up from Tampa. Car was super clean and priced well below market. I recently had to sell my previous car because I was diagnosed with Cancer and didn't have the strength to drive my manual anymore. Patrick and Mike knew... the situation and were great at first, seemed understanding. We came from Gainesville to buy a 2012 Mini Countryman on March 30th. Three weeks later we're slamming to a stop on the highway coming back from St. Augustine. Transmission and transfer case are totaled. We had to have it towed to Palatka, a hour away from our home. The repair shop tells us it will be $5,900 to fix and that the dealership, if they were an honest one, should have seen that the transmission was destroyed. Unfortunately, Patrick and Mike have been giving us the run-around for days. At first saying they would help us with parts and now they TEXT us saying that their xxxxty parts person can get it for $1400 across the street. I'm not stupid, I know he only texted so that he has "proof" that they tried to help us if we end up trying to sue them. I thought I was buying a car from a trustworthy dealer, especially since Mike is a highway patrolman. I definitely DON'T recommend buying a car from this establishment. Our experience with them has really made things even harder than they already were. I would also love it if they took my photo off of their "Happy Customer" page, this couldn't be farther from the truth.
Rob and Sarah, First of all I want to say I am sorry for what has happened with your Mini Cooper Countryman AWD. Under any circumstance what has hap...pened is not something anyone should have to go through. Secondly, you can certainly provide your opinion as to the events that occurred but they would be different from the facts and certainly do not agree with our perspective. Sarah, you came to us specifically to buy our 2012 Mini Cooper S Countryman AWD. We did not sell it to you, we helped you purchase it. It was the car you wanted. Additionally, we go to great lengths to purchase good vehicles. Inspections, CARFAX, Auto Check, and physically looking at the vehicle before trying to buy them does occur. Once we are able to secure the purchase we send all our vehicles out for service including yours. We have them serviced and inspected for any problems with ASE certified mechanics, not mechanics employed by us. Since they cannot make a living on $22 oil changes, it is in their best interest to find things they can fix so they can charge for them. Nothing was found to be a problem with your 2012 Mini Cooper S Countryman AWD. You then purchased the vehicle and took delivery of it. Three plus weeks later I receive a phone call from Rob. First thing he tells me is that you guys were left on the side of the road when apparently something in the transfer case and/or transmission locks up. You had it towed and someone looked into it, then reported back to you, then you to us that the dealer (us) should have known there was an issue. Addressing that point, we go to great lengths to make sure these things don't happen. Anything can happen to used vehicles, but our reputation since 2004 sits among the top used car dealers anywhere. No way do we know something is wrong and let a vehicle leave our lot. We go the other direction when we know something is wrong and send the vehicle back to the auction to purposely not sell it to the public. Next I could tell talking with Rob that he expected us to pay for any and all repair. We offered to have the vehicle looked at with one of our approved vendors we knew well, and that offer was not accepted by you. We then offered to help with cost of parts and labor using our dealer connections and that was not accepted. Each time we offered to help the reply to us was you can get the same pricing as us, a dealer. The $1,400 you inserted into your review came from your best price for labor of $2,300 to replace the transmission and transfer case. I said I believed that to be high, so I went to discuss with a vendor of ours (yes, across the street from us) and they were willing to do the work for $1,400 instead of your price of $2,300. You did not accept that either. Your reference of me sending a text to cover me... not true. I don't say things I don't mean and I don't do things or not do things to cover myself. As many levels as I was able and us as a dealership, we offered our help only to be turned down because you wanted us to pay for everything someone else said was wrong with it without any verification by professionals we trust on a daily basis. At every turn anything short of us writing a check to pay for all expenses for you and your contacts, our efforts to help were not accepted. Again, I am sorry this has happened to you. I wish I had control of all circumstances because then I could just make all well. Things happen sometimes and sometimes things happen that are just not in control of anyone. On April 6th 2018, my daughter and I visited J&M Affordable Auto, Inc. in Leesburg, Fl. This is a local family owned dealership. It is located about 52... minutes away from where we live, but the trip was worth it. My daughter, who is very demanding, was looking for a Honda Civic Si for several days and visited many dealerships, but she couldn't find a place with a decent car, in good conditions, and with a fair price. Then, we went online and found J&M Affrodable Auto Inc. and we saw a 2014 Honda Civic Si that was low on mileage, plenty of detailed pictures and with the carfax on hand. We emailed the dealer and immediately they confirmed the vehicle was available. So the next day, we arrived at the dealer and meet Patrick Shores. He was very friendly, gave us a test drive and let us check another vehicle at a different dealership so we can make a wise decision. He made no pressure. We came back after an hour and he answered all the questions we had on the civic and we were not disappointed. My daughter fell in love with the Honda Civic Si, the online pictures were accurate. Patrick handled everything with my credit union and his wife in the finance department made the process fast and accurate. This is a family owned dealership and a great place to buy an used car. I recommend J&M Affordable Auto Inc. 100%. .

I had been looking for 6 weeks for a used sporty convertible...... Thought it was going to be a Mitsubishi Eclipse... Patrick had a Nissan 350Z convertible... parked next to the car I was going to look at, and I fell in love with it! Took it for a couple of test drives, and also took it to my mechanic for a once over... Awesome vehicle and I love it! Patrick made it very easy to own, and always answered my e-mails and phone calls. It was a very good experience!!

This dealership is very open and honest about the vehicles for sale on their lot. On the dealership's website they provide a Carfax report for the vehicles.... So before you even go to see the vehicle in person you can see it's history online. That makes it so much more easier for the car shopper to decide if they even want to go there in the first place. I purchased a car from the dealership and the whole experience was excellent! Patrick was very helpful!!!!
