Wilmer Chrysler sold me a complete lemon

I searched online for a low mileage Ram Laramie 1500, Wilmer advertised a “certified vehicle” for sale. I called their dealer and inquired and was told the truck had “one rock chip” i bought a planer ticket and flew to Minnesota from Colorado to purchase the vehicle. I paid full price with zero discounts and bought an extended warranty. Upon inspection I found both fog lights were broken as well as the turn signals in the mirrors, the alignment was off as well. The shop replaced the fog lights and mirror signals, aligned the vehicle and i was on my way home, The truck has a vibration, a noise in the door that is something loose rattling inside, the heated steering wheel does not wrk, the steering rack is broken and makes noise, it developed an exhaust leak on the way home from the right exhaust manifold, it started using a lot of oil and now the engine has blown up, it had 2 oil changes, i paid for the best synthetic oil, it was a completely misrepresented vehicle and the sales person Michele sure didn’t do a thorough walk around before i arrived and i believe misrepresented the vehicle as well. There was no cabin air filter installed and the cover is missing, the wipers were even worn out. I called the general manager and his reply was ‘“well its a good thing you bought the warranty” I called the sales person and she said “ what do you expect me to do about it” I would not reccomenbd buying a vehicle here, I will contact the Chrysler corporate office and see if i have any resolution but i think I’m just out 30k on a used piece of junk worn out ex contracting vehicle. The truck has a adaptor for a flashing light on top of the truck, holes in rather dash that must have held some cab radio or light control, the vehicle had 50,900 miles on it but I didnt realize the vehicle had data that told me the truck had been idling for 900 hours!! That equates to a lot of additional wear on the engine that isn’t indicated by the odometer. This dealer will sell you a misrepresented vehicle and then tell you to whistle when you try to speak to them abiotic it or get assistance, they sold me a terribly worn out ex-contracting vehicle and they show zero concern.

Poor customer service

I received a recall notice for my vehicle. I called and left a message for the person responsible. After over 4 hours I called again and was told that she was too busy to call me back. After telling them I would try another dealership she returned my call. She could set up an appointment in 7 weeks. I called another dealer and got in in 2 days. Very poor customer service!

Excellent Customer Service!

Went in to buy out my lease and ended up leaving with a different but better vehicle. The overall process was quick and easy. Our salesman Alroy was great to work with, very helpful. Great team!
