I bought a 2019 GMC Denali from North Texas Truck Stop

I bought a 2019 GMC Denali from North Texas Truck Stop earlier February 2024, and the experience and customer service was outstanding. Ryan McKassen was my car salesman and Ryan and North Texas Truck Stop treated me and my wife like family. There was zero pressure to buy, or following you around. I test drove the vehicle at my leisure and once I made up my mind to buy the truck, the process took no more then 30-45 mins to complete the transaction. I had never seen a vehicle detailed so clean. My 2019 looked like a 2024! Lol, I would not hesitate to buy from this dealer again and HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend anyone looking for a truck to buy! Thank you Ryan McKesson and North Texas Truck Stop! I look forward to buying here again

We were pressed for time & needed a good, reliable truck. Our young son was leaving for Illinois in a few days. We almost literally ran into Kevin on his way out of the gate-Lol! He stayed a little late & showed us a great F150 trade-in he had just gotten & made a great deal out of it for us. He had it detailed, inspected & mechanically checked out for Josh to get on his way. I believe Kevin was sincerely invested in our son’s well-being for this road trip. Of course, Josh made it without a hitch! Thanks again, Kevin & God’s blessings on you, your family & your great business! 👍🏻

Great place to buy

I have bought several trucks from Kevin, they are my go to place for a good deal. Can't recommend them enough. They even got me a great rate on financing.

Never again.

Bought a ram 2500, came with “ clean carfax”. Couple days later realized the taillights don’t match. Then there’s primer over spray all around the rear end. This truck was absolutely rear ended! How it got a clean carfax?!?! Two days after that truck stalls out on the interstate pullin my trailer the first time. Have the truck towed to local diesel shop, turns out it needs a fuel pump. $1,525 dollars and four hours later truck is fixed!!! Drive back to where I left my locked brand new trailer and it had been stolen in broad daylight on the side of the interstate. Shared this with North Texas Truck Stop, did they offer to help out with the repairs? No! Did they offer to reimburse me for repairs? No! will I ever come back or recommend them to anyone ? xxxx no.Thank you so much, I’m out $1,500 in repairs and $7,500 on a brand new trailer because this truck should of never been on the market!

Great deals!

I have shopped around for trucks for quite some time. I found that this dealership had the best prices!! Also its worth the mention that they didn't haggle with you on your trade in and give a very fair price!! After much time working with dealerships this dealership was by far the best !!

Buyer Beware!

Buyers beware!! I travelled from Houston to Mansfield to purchase a 2008 Dodge Ram 3500 Diesel Dually from North Texas Truck Stop on February 5, 2020 around 3:20pm, Friday afternoon. The truck had 133,358 miles on it when I arrived. The sales agent I worked with throughout the week to finalize the purchase was Brook Dennis. I originally inquired about the truck on Monday (2/1/21) and Brook advised there would be a $500 non-refundable deposit to hold the truck, no problem. Before providing my banking information, I went over the Carfax report with Brooke to ensure to truck was not involved in any accidents or major repairs. Luckily, the truck was well kept and maintenance-free (on paper). Brook also advised that I needed to act quick if I wanted the truck due to several deals falling through that week, due to banks not willing to approve loans for a 2008 truck with over 100k miles. I went ahead and provided my banking details to secure the deposit. I advised Brook that my wife and I would be traveling from Houston to Mansfield early Friday (2/5/21) morning to finalize the deal and purchase the truck around 1pm. During that week I was able to locate a certified diesel mechanic in Dallas. The mechanic was able to meet my wife and I Friday when we pulled into the parking lot of North Texas Truck Stop. I obtained the keys from Brook upon arrive and walked through the inspection process with the mobile mechanic. This process took about 45 minutes. He was able to thoroughly run the codes, check the interior, exterior, engine and turbo. However, being that we were 1 hour from his garage, he was unable to put the truck on a lift. To further investigate, he climbed under the truck and did his best to check what he could see. Everything at that point was great. We went for a test drive for about 12 miles on the main road and back roads near the dealership. The truck seemed to handle really well, including the turbo for a truck that age. We drove back to the dealership and I paid the required fee for his services and thanked him for his time. My wife and I went inside the dealership to finalize the deal with Brook Dennis. This process took another 45 minutes. Brook told us stories about his kids on the pictures around his office, his marriages to the women in the pictures, his childhood memories near Houston where we live and his philosophies on life. We truly felt Brook was genuine, honest and full of southern hospitality. During those conversations I asked Brook to go over the Carfax report again since we could finally read over the documentation in person. Everything looked great. Brook said the truck was only driven around 3 miles since it arrived at the dealership. He stated the oil was changed 2 days prior, 1 mile from the dealership. I also advised my banking officer went over the appraisal value and the dealership marked the price up $1,400 higher than its initial value. Brook said this is customary and they’re not budging on the price. He also stated the in-house mechanics did a 10-point inspection on the truck and recovered 0 issues. He kept reiterating “this is a very nice truck, it’s in amazing condition”. I proceeded to sign the sales document and thanked Brook for his time. He then walked us to the truck and thanked us for our business. Sounds like an amazing experience, right? Keep reading for the plot twist. After leaving the dealership Friday afternoon, we drove the truck from Mansfield to Frisco which is about an hour drive. We got some rest after we arrived in Frisco and decided to stay in Dallas over the weekend. On Saturday morning we drove around checking out the Cowboy’s Star Stadium and dined at a few restaurants in the area. The truck seemed to drive without any issues. And that was the climax of this amazing experience that turned into a nightmare 8 hours later. We woke up around 6am Sunday morning (2/7/21) and finally got back on the road to Houston around 7am. 1 mile into the trip I noticed the truck started

HUGE LET DOWN!!!!

I'm not one to normally complain or write a review so take that for what its worth. I bought a used diesel pickup from them out of Ohio, sight unseen. Now I know most of you will say its my fault and my mistake for doing so. But running a business I have very little free time let alone driving down to Texas. Salesman was very polite and professional. He told me everything I wanted to hear (of coarse) said the truck was in great shape minor dents and dings which you can expect from a used pickup. No big deal. Said the truck ran good, everything worked, its been thoroughly inspected etc. After taking delivery of the truck I quickly noticed on the utility bed that some of the doors were locked with no way to open them (or lock them up) When I called the dealership back my salesmen said, "what you got with the truck is what you get". Now me being very understanding I simply said "ok, that's fine". You think he might have mentioned that before selling me the truck. The truck is rendered useless as a work truck if you can't lock/unlock the boxes. Next, I then noticed half the lights on the bed weren't working. Reverse lights, work lights, Etc. Again you would think in there "thorough" inspection they would have to of caught that, yet this was failed to be mentioned. Next the rear axle seal I noticed was leaking, again "there is nothing wrong with the truck" as this is a very noticeable smell and fluid on the tires you would think in their "thorough" inspection they would have caught this yet it was failed to be mentioned. Next is the front rims, now I know a 8 year old truck is going to have some dings and scratches, but the salesman said nothing out of the normal or significant is wrong with the cosmetics. I quickly noticed the nice aluminum Alcoa rims were badly gouged. Again failed to be mentioned, pictures of truck online were too far away or positioned just right so you couldn't see the gouges in the picture, also I could tell upon delivery of the truck they had spray painted everything underneath just to make it look good on camera. Last not but not least after only putting about 200 miles on it the motor started knocking VERY BADLY. Now I know this is a used vehicle and they cant control if the motor goes bad and it may just be a fluke, but with everything else that they failed to mention it makes me wonder if they knew something was wrong. My engine builder said its definitely been worked on drastically before as there were bolts missing in the motor and bolts where they shouldn't be. Now I know for the "inspection" there not going to look in the motor and I get that but like I said it makes me wonder if they knew something was wrong, or if they got it with a problem and they just patched it together to get it sold. This is a typical used sales dealer who will hide and not tell you stuff just to get the vehicle sold. When you pay $40,000 for a used truck you would think it wouldn't have so many problems. Again some of you are going to say its my fault for buying a truck unseen and it may be. But I also believe in a thing called honesty and a mans word. I don't think everything wrong with this truck was just unnoticed, I think they just failed to mention it to me.

Good place, great people!

This was by far the most painless process to get into the truck I wanted. Grant was a pleasure to deal with and had everything ready to go when I got there. I would definitely refer this place to everybody I know looking!

Found My Dream Truck! Thanks NTTS

I was looking to buy a GMC half ton with certain features. I let the owner Kevin know exactly what I was looking for and it only took him a few weeks to find a needle in a haystack. The buying experience from start to finish was quite refreshing. Thank you so much Kevin and NTTS staff I'm still in love with my truck.
