Hello my name is Cassandra Blue my experience with Honda in Lumberton was the worse I ever had my salesman lied. The man did my paperwork lied. The whole experience was just awful I will not recommend Honda of Lumberton North Carolina. To no one ... Go to Haywood Car at least you can pick what you want...I hate the car I have and the service... Never again

Expect a 3 to 4 thousand dollar mark up from the online

Expect a 3 to 4 thousand dollar mark up from the online price once you get there. Mark ups that do not make since and staff that is unwilling to negotiate. (Josh is a liar) Tried to sell me the top level trend for 58 because it was “ top of the line” went back a week later and he tried to sell me a car two trim levels lower for…… 58! I called him out on it and he told me I was lying and told me he would go pull up the paper work. I told him to do it and he come back and said he lost it. I walked out and purchased the same car brand new for 8 thousand less. He then called back a month later and told me the car her had ( which was in short demand at the time) would be going to the highest bidder and wanted to know if I wanted to make an offer. Horrible place and I tell everyone I can to go somewhere else every chance I get.

Lumberton Honda SUCKS!

Lumberton Honda is absolutely RACIST AND UNPROFESSIONAL to say the least. On 14 Sep 2022 I traveled an hour and 45 mins excited to purchase the car that I’ve been wanting for the longest. I arrived at the dealership, test drove the car, and got down to the numbers. The guy name Jay told me the car would be 34k and some change so basically 35k if you were to round it up… he told me that the price could NOT be negotiated in any way, shape, or form which is absurd considering I had a check in hand eager to make a purchase. Needless to say I left highly disappointed. I feel like if you have someone eager to buy right on the spot some type of adjustment should have been made. On 15 Sep 2022 I had my friend Kelsey call and inquire about the same exact car and Tonia Lindsey told her it would be 31k and that the price CAN BE NEGOTIATED. I decided to call back and ask about the car and the same price from previous day was given to me again, I then asked Tonia Lindsey why my friend Kelsey was told one price and me something completely different? I also asked was it because I’m BLACK and my friend isn’t, she got quiet for a few seconds then started acting confused saying that she didn’t tell Kelsey that the car was 31k final price I told her that I heard her say it with my own two ears because I was on three way with them. Tonia Lindsey is a liar and anyone considering purchasing from them should think again , just take your money elsewhere. I should’ve known they were “weird” when they made news headlines for calling an African American female “ BONQUISHA” after purchasing her car then trying to downplay it as if it was comical. I put on my uniform EVERYDAY fighting for our country and this is the treatment I receive?! Lumberton Honda should be ashamed of themselves.

Don't even consider going to Lumberton Honda.

Purchased car, on the way home and during a bad storm the windshield wipers started falling apart. Less than three weeks later the air conditioning quit working- in temperatures of 101 and higher. Then shortly after that the car quit running and left me stranded. Rude manager, assistant managers and rude representatives in the service department. This dealership isn't BBB accredited either. I am disabled and needed a dependable car, don't purchase one from Lumberton Honda.

Don't even consider going to Lumberton Honda.

Sold it out from under me!

I was a long time happy customer of Lumberton Honda. We purchased a 2018 Pilot and my in-laws purchased a new Honda CRV and I raved about how great the dealership was to anyone who would listen. Josh, my salesman knew I was in the market for a Jeep Wrangler (for over 2 years), he finally called me to tell me he'd found one that had everything I wanted. I went down the next day to look at it on my lunch. They ran credit checks on my wife and I, gave me a trade in value, we submitted copies of our driver's license and even had USAA add the VIN Jeep to our policy to show proof of insurance. I told Josh I wanted the Jeep and I told him my wife and I would be down after we got off work to complete the deal. in about an hour after getting back, I was texted that the Jeep had been sold. I couldn't believe my eyes and thought he was joking. I've since bought a great Jeep from Dodge of Fayetteville. Lumberton Honda, you have lost mine and my families business because of not having a policy in place to avoid this from happening. When a long time customer tells you they will be back to buy it, you don't sell it out from under them. They seemed to think this was not a big deal.

Sold it out from under me!

Worst dealer in NORTH CAROLINA

Worst dealer I’ve ever been too. All the way from the General manager, finance manager, to sales representative. Please do not waste your time at this dealer. They are disrespectful and uneducated or knowledgeable on tax exemption for military personnel who are residents of Florida and when you try to explain it to them they get rude and say it’s not true. I decided to take my business elsewhere and ended up in honda in Aberdeen. Let me tell you best place I’ve ever bought a vehicle and they honor the tax exemption.!

Service Review

I would give negative stars if I could. Paid for diagnostics and went to pick up the vehicle only to find out the exhaust system had been stolen. Honda stated that it wasn't their responsibility to let us know the vehicle sounded like it was missing the exhaust. Not only was the service manager extremely rude but the general manager Kent said he was absolutely not going to do anything about it. Not one ounce of respect or concern was given but only a total lack of customer care and concern. Furthermore the moment we explained that there was a problem with the vehicle their immediate response was that they could trade us out of the vehicle and put us in a new one.

Great Place

My wife and I went in looking for a used Honda, specially a Civic I saw advertised online. Our saleswoman, Elise, was super friendly and didn’t try to push us into a car we didn’t want. From arriving on the lot to driving away, we spent 2.5 hours and enjoyed ourselves. Everyone was nice there, would definitely recommend!

They don't wanna sell you a car

First of all they will not call you back second they wouldn't haggle made a offer of $16k cash on a SUV that was advertised as 19k then they come back with saying the same SUV was $22.8k that they sold the $19k one but it was the same SUV I know I checked the vin number then i asked to speak to the General manager Kent locklear so they got mad and told me so I tried to call back to speak to Mr Kent but they wouldn't let me I never got rude or disrespectful however I will be contacting the local news station so my story will be heard
