Came in just to look at trucks. Sammie told me nothing would effect my credit. While sitting with him I get an equifax notification. And he did g even have anything in stock. Waste of 40 minutes and a hard inquiry.

They sold me a used van. It ran great for about a week. Now it won't pass the emissions test and actually cut off on me driving 45 mph. Now they won't even buy it back for over a 1000 dollars less than what I paid only 2 weeks ago.

I would like to start by saying that no one has ever seen Gary, he is a local legend surrounded by mythical mystery. With that being said there has been much speculation as to who he really is. Well folks, its been made clear by my visit to Gary's today that Gary, is in fact, a dreamer. He's a dreamer in the fact that he dreams of getting nearly double the blue book value, NADA or edmunds value of all the cars on his lot. Gary is also a believer. He believes that ultra high mile vehicles hold value just as well if not better than lower mile vehicles of equivalent make because they "have held up to the test of time." Yes I said no one has ever seen him, but this quote is just common knowledge around our town. Gary, if putting rims and suspension components on trucks with nearly 300,000 miles on them increases their value by 15-20 thousand dollars then I'm a believer too. And if giving horrendous percentage rates on loans is what you love to do then I'm a dreamer as well: I dream that I can one day afford one of your vehicles. I'm glad you see fit to con US service members into buying your lifted trucks, because I also believe that service members are far too praised by today's society. You're the man, Gary.

I recently purchased 2 vehicles from Gary's Auto Sales in Sneads Ferry. The staff were very friendly. They were more then helpful to find what we were looking for and not to pressure us into anything. Jason was able to get the price so good on first one that I went back and purchased a second vehicle. They have quality cars and trucks with low miles. And go out of there way to get the payment to what suites you best. All around excellent service. I highly recommend them if your in search of a used vehicle!

Jody the salesman is the reason we returned after shopping to various dealerships in Jacksonville that Saturday. He was patient with all my questions, knowledgeable and thorough during closing the deal (never pushy or in a rush) and it was a couple hours after closing time - on a Saturday night. We had some unforeseen issues with the truck during a ride back to Raleigh the next day and had to call Jody on a Sunday morning. He responded quickly having Gary give us a call pretty close to immediately. Gary made arrangements to care of the issues with the truck immediately and now my dad's driving happily in his truck. Recently my daughter needed a new car that safe and reliable and also as sharp as she is. She searched from Raleigh to the coast and the boys at Gary's Auto Sales in Sneads Ferry found just what she needed. I bought a Cummins from Gary's about two months ago. After I bought it, I thought something wasn't right with the pickup. I took it back to them and one of the owners, W.G., got involved immediately to help me out. There is no lemon law in North Carolina for vehicles outside of their manufacturers' warranty, so in reality he didn't have to do anything for me. After diagnosing the truck, they put it in the shop and completely rebuilt the motor for me to make it right. I'm totally happy with the quality of work on the truck, and even happier with how well the situation was handled. A lot of people on here bash Gary's, but I doubt any of those people have been back to Gary's to give them the opportunity to make it right. They did right by me, and I'd recommend them to anyone.

I recently purchased a pickup from Gary's. Through my own stupidity I listened to all of them there saying "yes we run our vehicles through an inspection process before we put them on the lot." A week after purchasing the truck it has completely blown up. They sold a vehicle with a worn out turbo, faulty injectors, and fuel pump.

He was very professional, did not try to push a sale and went to manager with a price I suggested. I drove off the lot with exactly what I asked for! Great service, great people and they sold me a great vehicle. I highly recommend them.

I did a car search for a Camaro Convertible on cars.com I was sent an inventory alert for one at Gary's Auto. I loved the picture but of course wanted to drive it. I called Gary's and Justin Mitchell answered the phone in Sneads Ferry. He told me the car was at the Jacksonville store but he would go and get it. He did and after MANY conversations I finally caved . Justin never once pressured me just answered my many questions. Great experience!
