The salesman told us it needed brake fluid. What it needed was a whole brake job. New lines, pads, rotors, etc. This has been replaced twice in the year we've had this vehicle. We just got the transmission rebuilt last week and now the engine has gone out. Please, DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE! Save yourself the headache!

NEVER EVER AGAIN!
It should be said that initially I left a very favorable review of Barts last summer. 7/19. However, that has all changed. I needed a vehicle and shopped Barts because my former mechanic had accepted a sales job there. I was shown and purchased a Ford Explorer. For about a month everything was fine. Then everything started literally falling apart on this truck. In the six months I owned the truck I spent $3 grand on repairs in addition to financing. The salesman Nathan Seifferman clearly was clueless about the condition of this vehicle and sold me a piece of crap. I realize it was a used truck and sold with no warranty. The whole reason I went to Barts was due to Nathan. I thought I could trust him as he had been my mechanic before he started working at Barts. Obviously the truck was a piece of crap that had experienced no maintenance prior to my buying it. I later had a different mechanic go over it and we found several serious major repairs that would have to be done for me to keep the truck. When I found that out I unloaded it fast and bought a brand new car. I will never shop Barts again and since this disaster have had plenty of opptys to steer people away from this scam dealer.

DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES
Do not EVER go to Bart's car store in Anderson for a used car. They will screw you any way they can. We went 2 weeks ago and found a car for Starla. I told them going in I didn't want to spend more than $2500. They showed up 2 cars. After we test drove and decided on which car we were then told it would actually $3900. I said fine we would find a.car somewhere else and started to leave. They then decided they would drop the price to $2500 but we would take it As Is. They didn't even want to do a.quick clean on it. They kept telling me what a "steal" it was. We have started putting money it and will out more as I expected for a car from that price. I'm not too mad about that. I already knew I would never go back because of how they acted but I wasnt going to blast them...until last night I get a call telling me that I didn't pay the tax on the car and until I paid another $400 they would not do the title paperwork and they would take us to court. Not to mention the manager there informed me that the owner put him in charge and he could do whatever he wanted. I wanted to know why they didn't charge me the tax when I was there and was told they made a mistake. Why didn't they find out about this sooner?? They made a mistake. I lost it. Yes I yelled at him over the phone but the manager over there is a sexist xxxxxxx who has no consideration for others and seems to enjoy screwing others. I paid the money because that's what was on the contract but I do not enjoy being bullied by people because they can. Its wrong to tell people the price of a car and then try to raise it. It is wrong to tell them you will take care of any problems with the car and then say they won't because they "lowered" the price. So once again do Not take any business to Bart's Car Store in Anderson.

Flyer that made me think I won $1000.00
Told these lying worthless snake oil salesmen what we thought about the scam they were running and we're followed out by 4 other sets of people who heard us an agreed as well. Will never return again

Low trade offer
Terrible trade in values. I went by Nada values for trade in of my vehicle and Nada book says 8500 in rough shape. Mine was average condition with brand new gm engine with 100000 mile warranty. And they was only wanting to give 5000 in trade towards it. Not happening here

I am so very pleased with my visit to Bart"s Cars
I was in need of a dependable used car to replace my vehicle that was totaled in a rear-end collision. From the moment that my husband and I stepped on the lot, we were greeted and made very welcome. The gentleman was so very helpful and listened to what we were needing. To our surprise they had the exact same Jeep Grand Cherokee that had just been brought to them.. even down to the same color, just 6 yrs newer. They let us drive and have my mechanic to look over the car before we signed any papers. I highly recommend the Anderson store..
