Write a reviewWhat an extremely disgraceful business Abeloff has
What an extremely disgraceful business Abeloff has morphed into. We have been loyal customers for over 30 years, purchasing and leasing more vehicles than I can recall and using the service department. We have also recommended the dealership to friends and family over the years. After our latest experience, we will never use them again and recommend everyone make a different choice. Our son leased a Sentra in 2021 and they refused to help us buy out the lease. Their finance guy, Jia Chen, told us it is too complicated to work with customers in NJ. Apparently he doesn't know how to register NJ vehicles anymore. Incompetent or just lazy? They also wanted us to pay for an end of lease inspection that is free from Nissan.
We're very sorry to read your feedback regarding your experience in buying out your lease. We do require customers to have our service department complete an inspection of a vehicle being bought out from a lease due to liability issues that could arise if we don't inspect the vehicles because of th e titling process involved. We apologize if that wasn't fully explained to you. We also have the ability to register and title vehicles in New Jersey as well through a third party company we use so we apologize for any disconnect or confusion that may have taken place for that. If you still haven't completed your lease buyout or have additional questions please reach out to either Nate Fitzgerald or Jeff Wasco at the dealership at 570-517-0200. Thank you for your feedback and we'd love the opportunity to earn your business moving forward!
Nissan provided us with a free inspection at our home at our convenience. There was no confusion on our part about the registration. Mr. Chen told us in very plain language that the new process was too complicated and they couldn't do it. He clearly couldn't be bothered spending the time to complete the lease buyout because it wouldn't be lucrative enough.
Nissan will inspect lease returns for customers as you all were aware and sounds like utilized - however that inspection does not cover all items required for a PA State safety inspection that we do at the dealership for any/all safety and liability reasons. We're sorry that wasn't fully explained to you and that Jia wasn't more proactive to figure out a solution to get the vehicle registered and titled in New Jersey.
The Worst
Bought a new Kia Sportage. Rear seats were cut with razor blade. Probably when they removed the plastic. They refused to acknowledge responsibility. STAY AWAY, FAR AWAY!
We're sorry to hear about your issue with our Kia store and the Sportage that you purchased from us.
Go here if you LOVE wasting your time and driving 2.
Go here if you LOVE wasting your time and driving 2.5 hours ONE WAY just to be told the car was sold once you arrive. They will back peddle and say there "wasn't a deal yet", blame it on their 'sister dealership' and take zero responsibility, so I'm grateful that I didn't purchase a car from someone who takes zero responsibility for anything at all. UNBELIEVABLE. my text messages show otherwise :) Special shout out to Steven who we were working with on this. STAY AWAY!!!!
We're sorry to hear about your experience traveling in to see a pre-owned vehicle we had that another customer committed to purchase while you were on your way to us this morning. We have 20 sales reps across our stores that all have access to sell our pre-owned vehicles and another team member was working with another customer that committed to purchase it.
Are you joking? We were told we couldn’t put a deposit down but you took one from someone else 😂😂 We would have committed to purchasing it had we been allowed to. Do you think we drove 2.5 hours one way for fun? You’re a joke. No wonder your reviews are horrible 🥴
Terrible customer service.
Terrible customer service. Buyers beware. Worst experience. Stay away from this business !!! Terrible terrible terrible

I have purchased 3 new vehicles from Abelhoff Nissan My 2020 Frontier has a problem with starting. When you depress brake and hit start button it doesnt always start. I wanted to get checked out before it leaves me stranded. Service told me they cant look at it for two weeks. I have a trip to North Carolina scheduled in 5 days. They told me there is nothing they can do. Truck is two years old with 19k mileage and I guess I'm just supposed to let it sit. I wont be getting a fourth vehicle from these people!
We're very sorry to read about the issue you had with our service team - our service manager LeeAnn Krauss should have tried to reach you to get your Frontier in before you go to North Carolina. If you haven't heard from her please reach out to her at 570-517-0200 or lkrauss@abeloff.com. Thank you!
Thank you. Truck got taken in this morning but they tell me they cant find any problem.
Thank you for the feedback - is the issue something that you can duplicate easily and consistently? If it's an intermittent issue it can be difficult for us to duplicate it.
They called this morning and problem was a faulty switch. Many thanks to Service Manager LeeAnn Krause for getting involved and hopefully helping to rectify the problem.
Ok great to hear we were able to figure it out - thanks again for your feedback and continued business - enjoy your trip!

As a young woman this dealership tried to sell me a used vehicle that had a rusted out bottom and frame, i took it to my mechanic who told me it would not last even 2 years and was a $15,000 used vehicle. Needless to say i did not buy this car. This dealership apologized and claimed their service department didn’t have any idea. Probably partially my own fault, but i believed them and the salesman sold me a different vehicle. I would also like to add that before buying said vehicle the salesman repeatedly tried to put me in cars that were outside of my specified budget. A year after purchase this vehicle had a rear drivetrain issue, and was still under warranty. So i took it to the dealership to have it fixed. They had my car for well over a month and refused my requests for a courtesy car until one month had passed of them having my car sit in their lot and them doing nothing with it. 2 years and some months after this repair the same exact issue and part is once again out of commission. The service department refused any resolution or assistance of the issue this time and I am now having this replaced a SECOND TIME in under three years at my own expense. I’ll take it to a trusted mechanic this time and never set foot on this lot again. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.
Women are not safe here.
Women are unsafe here. They try to nickel and dime customers and force you to spend money that is unwarranted. This dealership forced me to buy windshield wipers in 2021 or they would fail my inspection. The wipers were fine, but I did it or else I would have to pay again for the inspection. $40 for wipers. They tried to get me to change the air filters, too, even though they were brand new (I had replaced them myself just beforehand). Tim Mylan, service person, had the audacity to take out and show me the filter and claim it needed to be replaced. No shame whatsoever. I went back 5000 miles later, one year, since I needed an inspection and oil change and had pre-purchased the oil changes. Again they said they would fail the inspection if I did not replace the windshield wipers! I objected this time and asked them to show me the problem. There was absolutely no problem with them. I again objected. I believe they were trying to force me to spend more money and they treated me like I didn't understand what they were doing. Women are not safe here. In fact, while I was discussing this issue with the manager, a service person, Scott Prue, who had nothing to do with this and was not waiting on me, felt the need to chime in and shouted at me. I said they would not do this to me if I were not a woman. Prue said that since the manager was a woman, I couldn't use the "woman card." Women are not safe here. When I asked for his name, he pointed his finger at me and said "I don't give a xxxx about my job!" and threatened me saying he would come at me. No one did anything about it. Again, women are unsafe at this dealership. When I explained in detail the issue about the air filter, the manager, Leeann Krauss, said that she would call the police on me if I continued speaking. She just kept repeating that if I spoke again. Women are not safe here. They nickel and dime you. STAY AWAY! Go anywhere else.
Laurel we're very sorry to read the feedback from your experience as it's certainly not what we want our customers to experience with us.
Abeloff Nissan Nissan
Abeloff Nissan Nissan dealer Bartonsville PLACE DETAILS Photo of Laurel C Laurel C just now This is the only review I have ever written. I am doing it because women are unsafe here. Abeloff Nissan tries to nickel and dime customers and force you to spend money that is unwarranted. Abeloff dealership forced me to buy windshield wipers in 2021 or they said they would fail my inspection. The wipers were fine, but I went along with it or else I would have had to pay again for the inspection. $40 for wipers. They tried to get me to change the air filters, too, even though they were brand new (I had replaced them myself just beforehand). Tim Mylan, service person, had the audacity to drag me to the garage and show me the (brand new) filter and claim it was in terrible shape and needed to be replaced. No shame whatsoever. I returned to Abeloff Dealership 5000 miles later, one pandemic year, because my car needed an inspection and oil change and I had pre-purchased the oil changes. Again, after waiting almost two hours, Mylan informed me that Abeloff would fail my car's inspection if I did not replace the windshield wipers! When I told him he demanded the exact same thing just a year prior (5000 miles), he looked surprised and said "I did?". I objected this second time and asked him to show me the problem. There was absolutely no problem with the wipers. I again objected. I believe Abeloff was trying to force me to spend more money and they treated me like I didn't understand what they were doing. Women are not safe here. In fact, while I was discussing this issue with the manager, a service person, Scott Prue, who had nothing to do with this and was not waiting on me, felt the strong need to chime in and shout at me. I said Abeloff would not treat me in this manner if I were not a woman. Scott Prue roughly informed me that since the manager was a woman, I couldn't use the "woman card." Women are not safe here. When I asked for his name, he pointed his finger at me and said "I don't give a xxxx about my job!" and then threatened me saying he would come at me. No one did anything about it or said it was inappropriate. I genuinely feared for my safety. Again, women are unsafe at Abeloff dealership. When I explained in detail the issue about the brand new air filter that Mylan tried to convince me was in need of replacement, the manager, Leeann Krauss, also threatened me and said that she would call the police to "report me" if I continued speaking about Abeloff. She just kept repeating that she would call the police to arrest me if I spoke again at all. I don't know what for, but if a manager at Abeloff dealership says she is calling the police on you for speaking, you are vulnerable and at risk. Women are not safe here. They nickel and dime you. They threaten women who challenge bogus charges. STAY AWAY! Go anywhere else.
They sold me a car with mechanical failures on my sunroof
They sold me a car with mechanical failures on my sunroof and tried to blame it on me. Charged me $95 to tell me nothing I didn’t already know. Horrible customer service I recommend no one to do anything here. John is cool though.
We're sorry to hear about the issues you experienced with your vehicle and believe you've spoken with our General Sales Manager and Service Manager about it. We'd like to help you get the sunroof repaired and operational.
