xxxxxxxx OF THE AUTO INDUSTRY
GT auto sold me a 2020 GMC 2500 HD. They did not inspect the truck to ensure that it was running properly. The trucks transmission failed less than 1500 miles. The truck was overtuned. They want me to pay 50% of the repair due to their negligence of not inspecting the truck. The owner Gary said he would take care of me personally. Apparently having the customer pay is being taken care of. YOU SHOULD AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. THEY ARE CROOKS AND DO NOT INSPECT THE VEHICLES BEFORE THEY LET YOU TAKE THEM. VERY DANGEROUS. UPDATE THE OWNER GARY STATED I DROVE THE TRUCK HARD EVEN THOUGH I PROVIDED A COPY OF A RECT FROM A AUTO SHOP THAT STATED TRANS FAILED DUE TO OVER TUNING AND NO TRANSMISSION FLUID.

You People are Crooks!
They have no integrity and have fraudulent business practices, whereas they Forge Carfax reports and they VIN swap. They’re sneaky and have many resources that will commit a crime for them, that even includes installing a phony VIN plate to the vehicle. My experience has been a nightmare, with them trying to cover up their Fraud by stealing my purchased vehicle and replacing it with a lower valued vehicle with extensive damage. To do this they broke into my home and stole the original documents, then had new ones forged, as if they were clever! Do it right for us hard working Consumers and next time don’t be such Cowards! Side note: All you Auto Industry and Dealership people, including Truckers, who are their Puppets, by tracking and locating me, save your gas and mind your own business!

Do not buy from GT auto sales
2016 Range rover I bought my 2016 range rover for GT auto sales in Puayllup, in March. 2 days later the tramsission light came on, I drove back and James (sales person) added some trasmision oil. The light went back on in 24 housrs. Again I went back and James was extremly rude to me and told to me to never come back. I took It to Rnag Rove (RR) and paid $939. One month later, the tranmission started blinking. I took it to RR and now they say (after 4 week) it needs a new transmission for $10,000 plus my $65/day that I have to pay for a rental car. I bought he car almost 6 months ago. James needs to be fired, the first day he told me he was a swinger (gross) and that the girl in the offive was going over to his house to have sex. My Lord I have never been treated like this.

Conniving
Happy they financed, but extremely unhappy they did not disclose the vehicle was in a flood back east and sat in an auction house for years. They wouldn’t allow he to get a second opinion until the deal was made. I did not pay them the rest of my deposit in the amount of $1200, after getting full and exaggerated price already from me, so they gave my Fob to a known criminal to put a tracking devise on my vehicle. This same criminal would also occupy my vehicle until he was arrested, without my consent. I’d say GT Motor's staff and sales people need to grow up, disclose the correct information about their vehicles and consider other peoples privacy, because it could happen too them, as well!

Unethical and Uncaring
Unethical and unprofessional. Genuinely the worst car buying experience I have ever had. I am still in shock at the behavior and lack of honesty and ownership from Gary and James. I own a specialty car dealership in Oregon. When buying cars for myself or my wife we often look for something very specific or a special, hard-to-find color or trim level. In this case, GT Auto Sales had the exact Range Rover my wife had been looking for so we made an offer through a dealer-to-dealer site called OVE (part of Manheim). After a couple of counter offers by Gary we had a deal and I completed the purchase. Gary promptly sent me a message congratulating me and even sent me some additional photos and videos I had requested and told me he was glad my wife would be getting this nice Range Rover. I told him I would contact my shipper to schedule a time to pick it up right away. This all took place on Sat, 12/4 at 11:58am. My shipper was finally able to send a driver to get the Range Rover on Friday, 12/10. I had not heard anything from the dealer since purchasing the car so assumed all was well and they were simply waiting for us to come get it. Upon arrival, the shipper was told the vehicle was no longer there and that they didn't own it. I immediately called Gary who told me he was on vacation but would call his general manager to find out what happened. I then received a call from James who told me he sold the Rover to someone else, financed it and delivered it. Obviously in utter confusion I asked how that was possible as I had purchased the car a week ago and paid for it. James claimed he was off the day Gary sold it to me but he had a deposit on it from the day before - which in different conversations he said was Friday and other times he said was Saturday. After pressing him for more information over two different phone conversations his memory of events changed again and he said he actually delivered the car to the new buyer on Sat, 12/4 - the day I bought the car. I said that wasn't possible as that was the day I purchased it and Gary sent me the photos and videos taken in the dealer lot. He then said maybe it was Sunday when he delivered it but went back and forth on the details a few times and seemed either confused or cagey. When I said I was working with the owner, Gary, and was shocked he hand't put a sold sign on the car or alerted his staff he had sold it prior to leaving on vacation, James replied that Gary was not the owner but just the buyer. When I pressed him on this again he eventually said Gary was the owner. I then clarified, "so you're saying Gary is the OWNER OF GT AUTO SALES?" and he replied "oh, no he is actually the owner's son." At this stage my anger and frustration was growing as I was basically getting the run around. I then asked to speak with the actual owner, Gary Sr., and was told "no, he has nothing to do with it" and refused to give me the owner's information. I asked James what his title was and what level of responsibility he had at the dealership. At first he told me he was the GM, then in a later conversation he said, " hey I'm just a sales guy here." I tried repeatedly to get in touch with Gary who ignored my calls and texts, only replying briefly to say "I'm out of the country and don't have service, talk to James" (although he clearly had cell service), while James would say he could do nothing without Gary's approval. Round and round this went on all day Friday. As of writing this review on Mon, 12/13, I still own the Range Rover - it is on my dealership line of credit - and apparently someone else also owns it as well and is driving it around and enjoying it. Manheim assures me they will refund all of my money yet it has been sitting on my line collecting interest for 9 days. I have never received a call or message back since Friday, nor an apology or any further explanation of events. The GM of Manheim Seattle said he would "make some calls" but there was likely nothing he could do either.

Horrible service!
If I could give negative stars I would! No one helped me for 30 minutes even though the place was empty, and that should've been my first clue. They didn't care about my budget and kept trying to sell me expensive cars and kept insisting to run my credit even though I already had financing. The owner Teresa is the rudest woman I've ever met and told me my trade in was worth nothing. RUN!!

Dear Rick, We at GT Auto Sales were concerned when we heard you were not entirely happy with your new purchase. We truly strive to make sure all our customers leave our establishment satisfied with their purchase and how they were treated “like family” by our staff, who work hard to ensure a great customer service rating. In reviewing your complaint and your file, I would like to speak to you on a few concerns you pointed out in your complaint. Yes, we do purchase vehicles through Auction services (just like ALL dealerships whether be a Franchise store or an Independent dealer), but we also purchase them from wholesalers, we have many trade-ins to choose from, as well as direct purchases from individuals. WE DO NOT TARGET ACCIDENT VEHICLES. It is not often that a customer would trade such a high-end vehicle such as the one you purchased, so this vehicle was purchased by GT Auto Sales through Auctions Services. When we list our vehicles on- line, as we did with yours, we have a CARFAX button so customers can readily see how many owners, accident reports, mileage, as well as other important information, so our customers can make the best decision for themselves. You stated to our Sales Manager via text that you had purchased between 30-40 cars in that past, so I am sure you did your research on this vehicle. The vehicle having been in an accident prior to your purchase was indeed disclosed to you verbally as well prior to purchase. The CARFAX listed NO Air Bags Deployed and NO Frame Damage and it is my understanding that the $91K insurance payout disclosed to you by your insurance agent did not state if that payout was physical damages to the vehicle or a payout to an injured party in the accident. This is a rare, beautiful and exotic vehicle anyone would be proud to own, so yes, prior to your purchasing the vehicle from GT Auto Sales the vehicle was driven by one of the owners of our company not only to ensure the performance of the vehicle by to enjoy it’s unique qualities as well. Please remember, the mileage you are referring to was prior to any offer of purchase. Having stated that, the vehicle was driven approximately 500 miles with NO issue of a check engine light prior to your purchase, I reviewed the service history and your texts messages and found that the climate control light had indeed came on and that our Sales Manager researched and spoke to what may have cause it to come on and how to remedy that situation. We are dis-heartened that your experience did not meet your expectations and will continue to strive daily to ensure a positive used car buying experience for all our customers.
