EXCELLENT Service Department

This was my first visit to the service department at John Hiester Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Lillington, NC. I was just taking my Dodge Challenger in for recall work. I am so impressed with their service department! I was greeted at the door by a few of the employees, and they were just as friendly as could be. Greeted me in a friendly manner, opened door for me, etc. The guy behind the service desk who helped me was great! He was professional, friendly and knew his job. I loved that they did their inspection and then came out to the waiting room to let you know what was going on and gave an estimated time of completion. There were two other clients in the waiting room with me, and a young lady came out to explain to one of the clients what was going on with the brakes on her car etc. She was so caring, friendly and spoke in such a professional, but personable manner. They have a valet service for the local area, a clean coffee station, clean restrooms, clean service area etc. I live 30 minutes away and only have 10 months left in North Carolina, but I will definitely use this place for all my Dodge needs! This service department is by far the most clean, friendly and organized service department I've been to, and they did an excellent job on the recall work! I would give them 10 stars if I could!

My family has shopped with John Hiester since 2005. His Ram dealership in Lillington, NC was a great addition. Cindy and the team were great to work with back in 2016.

Terrible communication!

Wow! This dealership's communication absolutely sucks! I'm 2 hours away, so I wanted to negotiate a price for the truck I wanted remotely before making the drive. I filled out a contact form online. I was contacted by Monica Hobgood with a standard form response. I responded with details about my situation and never received another response from her. Four days later, I received a follow-up from Sharon Gagel. I gave her details about my situation and she tried to steer me to a different vehicle and communication ended after I wasn't interested in that. A couple weeks later, I reached out again and she passed me on to what is probably the newest salesman at the dealership... Quintin Ray. I guess I wasn't worth Sharon's time. Quintin seemed nice enough and sent me some numbers on the truck. I countered the offer and Quintin called me back. When he called, he let me know that this truck was actually a demo truck and had over 3,500 miles on it. WHAT? So, I've been going back and forth about this truck for weeks and now they reveal that it's basically used. It might be helpful to include this information on the website instead of listing this as a NEW vehicle. At first, I told him that I was no longer interested at that price. I thought about it for a week and came to the conclusion that the truck still had everything I wanted and was worth pursuing. Three days ago, I sent Quintin an email with a few questions about the truck. I haven't gotten a response. I'm really not sure how these people keep their jobs.

Re-call work on Ram 2500

The story begins on a Monday when I contacted John Hiester about two re-call's on my 2500. I called to schedule an appointment on Monday and they instructed me to bring the car in on Tuesday the following day so both re-call's could be completed. I arrived at my scheduled time after driving two hours from my home to John Hiester. I went in and the service provider promptly greeted me and did a quick inspection on the vehicle. I let them know I was going to get some lunch (they even offered me a ride). After lunch I arrived back to the dealership to see my vehicle sitting outside, I thought that odd because one of the re-calls would have taken two hours to complete and I was only gone an hour. I walked into the service department only to find out that they did not have the parts to complete both re-call's. I was upset and was asked to bring it back the following day because they were receiving another shipment of parts. I told them that I was told over the phone that both re-call's would be completed and that I drove two hours to get here never mind the fact I had to take a half day at work. They were very understanding to my needs and concerns but I was not happy about having to come back and miss another half day at work. After talking to the service manager (Mr. Stephens) I could clearly see that they were willing to accommodate my needs. Mr. Stephens rectified they situation by sending a driver to my place of employment two hours away to pick up my vehicle and give me a loaner. This dealership went out of there way to ensure my experience was pleasant from start to finish. The driver that came to pick up my vehicle was friendly and professional, I could see that my vehicle was in good hands. The driver was in constant contact with me and he even offered to bring my vehicle back to me the same evening even though it would have been well after nine p.m. for him to get back to Lillington. I can not express in words at how far this dealership went to make this experience as easy and pleasant as possible. I would never go any where else to buy or have my vehicle maintained. All of you Ram 2500-3500 owners would do yourself justice to buy from John Hiester in the future. The small drive is worth every bit of time and fuel to get this first class treatment. I am the guy that buys the best and does not trust anyone else to service much less work on my 2500. This dealership has my trust and recommendation, I will not buy from any one else. I am thankful that I purchased my ram from them and no one else. Thank you to everyone involved that made this such a hassle free experience. my local Ram dealership in Jacksonville NC is awful and I would not trust them to change a tire on my Ram. Thank you so much John Hiester!

Wouldn't Trust my Car with Anyone Else

I Always go to Hiester if my car is having any issues or to just get usual maintenance done and they're great at keeping it up to date and running smoothly. Everyone is extremely nice and helpful to me throughout the whole process, they make you feel like you're family and in great hands. I usually have TC or Clint as my service advisor and I would recommend them to anyone, I trust them and they always do a stand up job! 5 Star for sure! I don't trust any other dealership with my car.

Two cars in two weeks!

My wife and I stopped by Hiester Dodge, Jeep in Lillington North Carolina while out looking for a new car. We were greeted by sales associate Paul Loso. After looking at several cars Paul learned through conversation with my wife that she had always wanted a Cadillac SRX. It just so happened that Paul had a couple to look at and that evening we ended up buying the Cadillac SRX. After deciding on the Cadillac we moved into the finance office where we met Paula DeWitt. Paula had an amazing personality and was very attentive to our wants and our financing options. Paula is also concerned about the protection of your vehicle through extended warranty programs and got us the best coverage for our needs. We were so happy with the customer service and buying experience that Paul Loso and Paula Dewitt extended to us that two weeks later we went back looking for a pick up truck. Again we got with Paul Loso and he found a beautiful RAM Laramie. Another sales associate by the name of Patrick McGill helped Paul answer questions that I had about the RAM diesel pick up truck. After test driving the RAM it was back to the finance office with Paula DeWitt for finance options and vehicle protection warranty coverage. Paul Loso, Paula DeWitt and Patrick McGill are great people to deal with, what a great experience. I would highly recommend this three person team for all you vehicle purchasing needs.

customer service

Dealership staff are extremely insensitive and uncaring especially Rob Kirkland. Left several messages for Mr. Hiester to contact family but no return calls received. Will never purchase anything from this dealership.
