Not impressed

The people were great and they worked with me while I was waiting for my bank to approve my loan, but everything that they said they would address before I purchased the truck they didn’t do or didn’t do properly. First problem - the tire pressure sensor. The light for the tire pressure was on when I test drove it. When I said something about it they said that they would fix it. They told me that they replaced the bad sensor, but the light came back on an hour after leaving the dealership. I have checked the pressure in my tires numerous times, it is right, they didn’t replace a sensor. Second problem - the car pulling to the right. Also when I test drove it I told them the the truck pulled to the right rather bad. They said they would get an alignment done and it seemed fine for a day, but it wasn’t. So if they did an alignment it wasn’t done well, either that or if they noticed that it was another problem causing the pull to the right they ignored it. Third problem - Apparently there was a new fuel pump put in the truck before I bought it. I cannot remember if they told me that this was done while I was purchasing the truck, but 11 days after I drove off the lot my truck broke down on the side of the road. I had to use my AAA miles to get it towed to the shop they get their repairs done at (Kuntry Kustoms - Ithaca). I was told that when they replaced the fuel pump that they broke a clip on a fuel line which caused my fuel line to pop off and thus why my truck broke down. So the place that they take their vehicles to for repairs don’t even properly repair things. Fourth problem - Before purchasing my vehicle I was told that they do a 50 (or whatever number) point inspection on the vehicle to make sure everything is running okay. Well come the winter I had to put the heat on, my truck was blowing cold air when it sat (to warm up, at a stop sign or light) or if you had the heat up too high and you weren’t going fast enough. Turns out my truck was so low on coolant it wouldn’t heat my truck unless it was in motion. There was enough coolant so the gauge in the truck showed that the truck wasn’t overheating, but there wasn’t enough to heat my truck. I would have assumed that checking the coolant levels in the truck would be apart of their point inspection. If it is, they didn’t look very well. Fifth problem - my Cabin air filter. The door to the filter was missing a screw and the filter itself was so dirty that it was causing the heat (when there was heat) to barley blow out of the vents. Clearly didnt’ take a good look at this during their 50 or whatever point check. All in all I am incredibly disappointed with the number of problems that I have had with my truck not even 2 months after purchasing the vehicle. I will never purchase a vehicle from Automotive Consultants again and I definitely will never be reaching out to Kuntry Kustoms to work on my vehicle. Automotive Consultants should think about finding a different shop because clearly they are part of the problem as well.
