RAC Performance

So far so good. I bought a 2017 911 S in August 2022 and the transaction was smooth and the sale was pretty straight forward they met all of my request and even did additional maintenance then shipped it to me. It's Feb 2023 and my car is great I haven't had any issue. Crossing my fingers it continue like that.

I called RAC Performance this Morning 6/7/21 and spoke with Michael about a 2010 Porsche Cayman at 10 AM. Put a $1,500 down payment on said car to secure my purchase while I wait for a video of the car which he said would take about an Hour and Half. I waited 2 hours before calling back and continued to call back until 8:40PM to inquire about the video with no answer from ANY of their "Departments". I called 34 times AND Selected Every Option on their Call List with never an Answer, Call Back, Email, or Reply. I set an Email the night Before inquiring about the availability of the car which Micheal had brought up during our conversation to confirm my Email and said it was available. After speaking with Micheal for 20 minutes about the car, he took my contact info and I put down a $1,500 payment towards the vehicle to hold it and I let him know I was buying out right with no bank loan. Then we spoke about paperwork, bank wires and shipping. It was a Guaranteed Sale for Their Asking Price and all I was waiting for was a video and the paperwork. I have never been treated so disrespectfully by a business. They took my Money and Couldn't even give a Call Back!! After reading all the negative reviews I truly believe them, Can't wait to see what excuses they use to justify their behavior. BUYERS BEWARE!! I HAVE CALL LOGS AND MY BANK STATEMENTS TO BACK MY CLAIMS.

A few weeks ago I saw a 2009 Boxster S listed on their website for $34995 which was already way overpriced. I contacted them twice to enquire about the car, no reply! Low and behold, I checked their site again a couple of weeks later and, guess what? Those greedy shysters had jacked up the price another $6K. $41k for a 2009 Boxster??? Beyond insanity!Anyone buying from these guys (I suspect Hans is the greedy one) needs to check very carefully, their pricing!!!

This is the first review I have ever written. I am an out of town purchaser who contacted RAC about a Porsche 911 they had in stock. I spoke to Tristan, who was helpful during the call. I explained that I wanted pictures of the vehicle before I made the decision to travel to the dealer to look at the car. I have been looking at Porsche 911s for quite a while, and I had my eye on this particular one they had in stock for a while. I was told I would have pictures the next day. After receiving nothing for 2 days, I made 2 calls 2 and 4 days after my only call with Tristan and left messages for him both times to follow-up on getting the pictures. I never received a return call or the pictures. Luckily I found another Porsche 911 I was interested in and I'm closing the deal this week. This was a lost opportunity for RAC from a serious buyer who was willing to travel to the dealer from another state to make the purchase. It all worked out well for me, but I hope you do something to fix your customer service problem.

Very friendly and knowledge staff. They listened, asked questions and offered advice. They did not try to hard sell. I am a knowledgeable buyer and trying to plan my next purchase. I have had both air and water cooled cars so nothing is new to me. As far as the purchase of a used vehicle I need advice regarding reliability and risk. Any doubts or trepidation I had prior to the call were erased once the call was over. This is an end of summer, early fall transaction so I have time. As soon as I am ready, they will be my first, and most likely, only call. I only wish they were closer to the Northeast.

I had been looking nationwide for a 911 (my first Porsche) for some time, until I found this place located just outside of Dallas. I was blown away with the vast inventory of immaculate 911s I saw on display during my first visit. Needless to say, I bought the one I went to see, a pristine and well kept 997.1 Carrera S Cabriolet. The total experience with this dealer was amazing. Their prices are very competitive The entire facility is super clean (the service/repair bays are spotless!). And Tristan is truly incredible. His professionalism, knowledge, honesty, and just good customer service skills made the whole buying experience all the better.

Made the deal over the phone and drove my trade to the site. The facility is immaculate and the service area was spotless. We were treated respectfully and the vehicles in their inventory are immaculate. Truly a professional organization.

I could stop my review with just the title, but that leaves it to assumptions. Yes, I went to RAC a second time so, 'nuff said right? Not quite because my experience this second time was even smoother than the first. I worked with Tristan again and, as before, I found him transparent, knowledgeable, and great to work with. This time I went for a 2009 Porsche 997.2 Carrera S (Black). Loving it! And, I still have my 2008 RS60 Spyder that I purchased from RAC Performance. Hey, you like something they have? Buy it.
