Here are facts, you can decide.

Here are facts, you can decide. Purchased my 2024 Volvo certified used Volvo S60 vehicle on January 11, 2025. It had about 14k miles. At home, my wife mentioned that the passenger side looked different but I really did not notice anything odd, just figured it was the light or angle she saw. On March 18, took the car to the carwash and as I was drying it off, I noticed the paint falling off on the passenger side in a couple of spots. The next morning I took the car to a friend at a body shop. He looked at the car and in 1 minute said the entire passenger side has been repainted/repaired and poorly. He started showing me the different ways to tell. I immediately drove over to the dealership and spoke to the salesperson. I know I was frustrated that you buy a 2024 Certified Volvo with a 170 point inspection and a clean CarFax and learn the entire side has a horrible repair. The sales person understood and said let me talk to my sales manager. He came back and said we will buy it back for what you paid and you can get an another vehicle. I started looking for other vehicles and there was really no inventory like the vehicle I purchased. I texted the next morning just to apologize for being frustrated the day before and he said he understood and that they were looking for something similar. I would check the website daily and nothing. April 3rd I texted if there had been any luck locating a vehicle. Salesperson responded no and if there were any other models that interested me and I said only XC60 which I knew was more expensive but I was honest because I was asked. I figured maybe we can make it work and thought to myself I would pay some difference if they found something because it was more car. April 10th I texted to see what was up and said I wanted to stop in to talk to him and the sales manager to have a heart to heart on the matter. I discussed what were options in my mind. 1. They locate a similar vehicle from another store and I shared some I found. 2. They repair it correctly. 3. They just buy it back and I walk away with whatever equity I had. 4. Trade in the car for something similar even though a bit more on the sticker price. They said those were not options and that they really did not have to do anything so the trade in for the value is what they would do. Obviously I left there pretty frustrated but I kept checking daily. Even talked to 2 body shops about just eating the cost to get it repaired and they said it would be at 3-4K and you would run the risk that it could be more because you have no idea what the other repair did. April 30th - No communication from the dealer but finally saw a couple of similar cars although not in colors I really wanted. Stopped in and drove them. I noticed they were 20% more than what I paid and I mentioned that. I also mentioned they were nice although the colors were not my favorites but I wanted to get this nightmare resolved. He said the price is what it is. Again I left frustrated. As I was not really wanting to pay 20% more for the same car. I started looking at lesser models because the price was only 5% more than what I paid. Frustrated I thought I just need to get this over. May 1st - decide to cut my losses and just pick one. When I went in I noticed that on the lesser models the window sticker had now gone up even though they had been sitting there for 3 months. The similar model’s price was also increased on the sticker but not yet on the website so I said I would take it as now the difference was not much. I figured if they tried to charge me the sticker I would show them their website. Luckily they respected the website price (still 20% more than what I paid a few months prior) and no discount or reduction by the dealer. I did take the car to the body before buying. 2 weeks later - my original car on the lot for sale 10% more than what they gave me and carfax still clean. You decide if this is the place for you.

I'm located in NJ and have bought several vehicles

I'm located in NJ and have bought several vehicles remotely over the years. I'm not new to the process, though I have bought either brand new vehicles or enthusiast type vehicles that are owned by very OCD people. This time was different. This is a cautionary tale when dealing with WC Volvo, at least on the used car side of the house. I asked a lot of questions, asked for videos and extra pictures of the certified used XC60 I was interested in. I got those pics, but what I did not get was any acknowledgement of prior body damage and paint work on the fender and hood. To be fair, they did tell me about paint repair on the lower front bumper, which I was ok with. After the car arrived, I thoroughly cleaned it as it was clearly not washed in a very long time. This revealed the front passenger fender was repainted in a different shade. Whoever did the work did it hastily, blending it onto the hood - unfortunately a terrible job. This did not come across in pictures, nor did WC Volvo disclose it. If they had, I simply would've bought a different XC60. But now I have a car that is at least 2 shades of red. I purposely did not negotiate the price because it was presented as being in excellent condition and paid in cash. The response from the used car manager? (I feel I should leave his name out of it for now) To paraphrase "we have our paperwork, it's not my problem". The law is on their side, but it just feels awful to have been "had" on this deal. He did offer for me to return the vehicle, with transport fees paid by me, and they'd refund my money. I felt that was too big of a risk with a dealership I now have zero trust in. Ship the car back, wait for a check? The result could very well have been no car and a loss of $31k cash with no remedy but to sue. I'm unwilling to take that risk, and they can smell it. Giving WC Volvo 2 stars because the car appears to be mechanically OK (but then again it needs to be in order to be sold as a Certified by Volvo vehicle). However, the condition aesthetically was abysmal, and I will need to get this problem professionally remedied by a local body shop. So 2 stars it is. Big ol' bummer.

Greg was awesome.

Greg was awesome. He did everything in his power to squeeze me today due to my emergency. My only 1 key fob had stop working and I needed to get in right away for a replacement. Once I got into the shop, Greg took care of me and was done in less than an hour. Greg, I am so grateful you got the job done. Thank you! Keep the good work!

In December 2024 I ordered a fully loaded XC90 T8 from

In December 2024 I ordered a fully loaded XC90 T8 from Volvo Cars West County through the Volvo Europen Delivery program, to take delivery Mid June in Sweden. Then the tariffs of 25% hit. I had no idea idpf I would be charged more. Volvo West County assured me all was well and I wouldn't be charged more because I made the deal pre tariffs. I finalized the deal, and it was just confirmed by Volvo that my price will not change. This will be our second Volvo purchased from West County Volvo. They are good in their word and they also are super on service, very friendly and professional. I think they're a great place to buy a Volvo.
