Stereotypical shady dealership. Save your time and money. Go elsewhere. I was sold a pre-owned SUV by Somersworth Nissan. Within 25 days of owning the... car, one day the check engine light came on and the car suddenly stopped moving. That was the last time the car ever drove. And I had only had it for 25 days. No accidents or misuse. Now it's a $9500 piece of scrap metal. Since I was within my 30-day warranty, I contacted the dealership the next day. Because I had just barely exceeded the 1,000 miles (by less than 100 miles) they allow you to drive within the 30 days, the dealership stated that they would not be able to cover the issues with the vehicle. The issues the auto shop discovered were not issues that could have possibly accrued just over the course of only 25 days and little over only 1k miles. The issues found are as follows: multiple misfiring cylinders, rotted out exhaust, broken catalytic converters, broken cooling fan, etc. All of which come from a deeper issue that we were told would take 20 hours of labor to further figure out. We are talking about $5-8k in labor and parts to fix the issues. None of the issues would be covered by our powertrain warranty and despite selling us a car that broke down at no fault of our own, the dealership would not commit to making the situation right for us. I do not recommend this dealership. Their online department was respectful and professional, keeping the consumer touch with us until we arrived at the dealership but they do not handle the sales. We worked with their salesmen which were your stereotypical salesmen. We called the GM, Ric, who had emailed us to reach out to his personal line if we ever had any issues whatsoever. So we did. He was extremely disrespectful, immature and hard-headed. We have tried to continue to rationalize with them but get nowhere. Whether they knowingly or unknowingly sold us the car as a dud is unknown but their maturity and professionalism to honor the deal and follow through with us to make sure we were safe and happy in a new *working* vehicle was a major miss. Save yourself a major headache and your money and go elsewhere.

Somersworth Nissan, all of the companies I attempted to deal with, was an honest and transparent dealer. I checked with other dealers and received nothing... but "smoke and mirrors", a very uncomfortable way to conduct business. The salesman made us leave a $500 deposit for a car I was Thinking about purchasing but has to commited to yet I was going to purchase in cash but needed... repairs done, the salesperson and manager told me they would get the vehicle in first thing in the morning. The next morning the manager called me stating that they needed an extra 2k to try and get the vehicle repairs started. It all didn’t make sense to me and I went into the dealership to get my deposit back from them nobody came to talk to me until after 5pm when they were already closing and told me that they were not going to be able to give my deposit back because they didn’t have a manager! I sat for over two hours and spoke to not one manager the manager just sent a salesmam over to tell me I had to come back next week when I had already told them I drove 2 1/2 hours away and they knew I wanted my deposit back they also still tried selling me the vehicle although this used vehicle had no repairs done and would not pass state inspection.
