First, I have bought 5 total vehicles from Banister and

First, I have bought 5 total vehicles from Banister and have had several family in friends, 4 in all, buy from Banister on my recommendation. I’ve always been happy with them but my recent sales experience is bad. I was flat out lied to and none of the the discounts or KBB values were honored. I was in a pickle and needed a vehicle so I signed a good deal but was lied to on additional discounts I was eligible for even when I showed them the discounts. 1. $1000 buyer down payment assistance not honored 2. I was charged $899 for the Banister Lifetime Warranty which is supposed to be no charge to customer 3. I showed an email and text showing $2500 over KBB for trade, they didn’t honor it! None of this was honored, none. I didn’t raise a stink because I thought I was getting a good deal yet I was actually told false information. Now o know it was false and contacted them, to date no reply! I am highly disappointed in Banister. This is my fifth purchase from Banister, 4 from Chesapeake and this one from Norfolk.

We haven't had a car payment since 2019 Speaking with our Bishop, he recommended we go to Banister Nissan. With prior bad experiences with dealerships we decided to give it a try. From the first moment of walking in the door, we were greeted with the upmost respect. Mr. Mike Pulley was exceptional and made us feel like family from the first hand shake. He made sure we were in the right hands to get thr process started. Ms. Latonya introduce us to Mr. Shemar who was our salesperson. Shemar went above and beyond to help us find the car we wanted. Very great person to talk with. We didn't feel like just another customer there to buy a car. It genuinely felt like family. Ms. Latonya went beyond to help us get the best financing deal. This was one of the best experiences we've ever had with a car dealership. Would definitely refer to family and friends.
