Good experience

I recently purchased a 2008 F250 from Dean Motor Cars in Houston. I lived in a different city from the dealership and Dean and his sales staff went out of their way to assist me with having the vehicle inspected by a third party mechanic. The purchasing process was very straightforward and Dean arranged to have the vehicle delivered to my home.

DISHONEST AND DISAPPOINTING

DISHONEST & DISAPPOINTING! Recently traveled 4 hours to purchase a truck from these guys. Put a deposit down on a Saturday & picked up the following Saturday. When we get there the truck was not even clean, and still had a lot of the original owners information in it. The windshield had several stars in it that were not shown or mentioned in the advertisement. They did have a new windshield installed while i waited. The brakes were warped, another thing not mention. There was several hundred miles more on the odometer that what was advertised. There was only 1 ignition key & no working remotes. Maybe a 1/4 tank of gas I decided to proceed with the purchase anyway. They did give $100 back so that I could pay for detailing the inside. I drove another 4 hours to get back home. Sunday morning I was headed to to the auto store to get some cleaning supplies and they Check engine light came on when i started the truck. Less than happy at this point. I had the gentleman at the auto store run the code to see what it was. It was an emissions system error/Air Pump. I asked the guy to please reset the code in hopes it was just a glitch. Monday when i started the truck at lunch time the error came back. I took to my mechanic and he rand the code. Same error as before. Turns out this is a known error by Toyota on 2007-2010 Tundras. At this point I asked my mechanic to prepare an estimate. Meanwhile I contacted Dean Motor Cars & explained the situation. I also contacted the original owner who confirmed that he traded it in because the error kept happening & they dealership wanted $2,800 to correct it. Dean told may they wanted to make it right, but that i was going to have to bring it back to them so they could have their mechanics look at it. I reminded them that i was 4 hours away. I went on to say that my mechanic had prepared an estimate to fix in accordance with the Toyota Technical service bulletin (The Correct Toyota Fix for their known problem) the Estimate was $2,492. I proceed with the repair as i really had no other choice. I them made multiple attempts to contact Dean Motor cars including sending them copies of the invoice. I asked that Dean at least cover the cost of the parts ($1,600) and i would cover the labor. They choose not to reply or respond in any way. Dean Motor cars reset or had the computer reset to hide this error from me. DISHONEST and DISAPPOINTING!

honest no games hardworking dealer!

Came here looking for a tow vehicle. Nice inventory. Settled on a 2008 F250. Agreed the deal, signed the papers, truck needed one repair. This dealer, namely Dean worked his rear end off trying to get this truck sorted. Regrettably after multiple visits to pros, they called to let me know this was not a truck they were happy with. Very honest folks! Deal did not work out for this truck but if we can find another I would do business here first!

2013 Chevy SILVERADO

Finally found what I was looking for

Great all around experience with the guys there from the very first phone call , no pressuring salesman , very nice staff , like dealing with a friend you have known for sometime, I?m very happy with the F-250 diesel I purschased from them n with the low mileage it had & under bank loan value I had no problem acquiring this vehicle . Thank you guys at Deans Motor Cars

Good experience

Dealership primarily deals with used trucks bought from auction. They were straightforward and honest with me. They did not haggle on price but I did feel it was a fair price for the truck I bought. Even though my truck was 13 years old it was very clean and in good shape. I had looked at other used trucks elsewhere and all had trimpieces missing or body damage. Happy with my experience overall.

Went online 3 times filled out reply form.

Went to Cars.com on 3 separate occasions looking for a Ford Transit 250 van at this particular dealer. Never received an email or a telephone call. Which I supposed is better than having incorrect and invalid prices left up on the dealerships cars.com and their own websites for more than a week at a time. Do people review their own postings?

Went online 3 times filled out reply form.

Went to Cars.com on 3 separate occasions looking for a Ford Transit 250 van at this particular dealer. Never received an email or a telephone call. Which I supposed is better than having incorrect and invalid prices left up on the dealerships cars.com and their own websites for more than a week at a time. Do people review their own postings?

Great quick service and sales!

Bought a Lexus truck from Dean and Hassan here. Very straight forward, No pressure. treated us like people they knew, more than a sale. let us go look around with no pressure or hassle, then when we came back ready to buy they made us a better deal and closed it within 30 minutes. Overall very happy this place...easiest car buying experience I've ever had
